This benefit, combined with the fast switching speed and ruggedized device design that HEXFET Power MOSFETs are we known for, provides the designer with an extremey efficient and reiabe device for use in a wide variety of appications. G D S V DSS = 100V R DS(on) = 0.20W I D = 1.6A The SOT-223 package is designed for surface-mount using vapor phase, infra red, or wave sodering techniques. Its unique package design aows for easy automatic pickand-pace as with other SOT or SOIC packages but has SOT-223 the added advantage of improved therma performance due to an enarged tab for heatsinking.
