This benefit, combined with the fast switching speed and ruggedized device design that HEXFET Power MOSFETs are we known for, provides the designer with an extremey efficient and reiabe device for use in a wide variety of appications. The TO-247 package is preferred for commercia-industria appications where higher power eves precude the use of TO-220 devices.
