Installing the frequency inverter The Size 1 K 2xxE-FDS frequency inverter is already munted n the munting surface. 2. Installing the external brake resistr The braking resistr must be munted directly n the wall r the munting surface clse t the frequency inverter with the 4 fastening screws which must be prvided. 3. Cnnectin cables The braking resistr is cnnected t the frequency inverter with the pre-assembled cnnectin cable (Part N ). Cnnect the pen end f the cnnectin cable t the terminal bx f the braking resistr via the EMC cable gland If necessary, the length (2 m) f the pre-assembled cable can be shrtened in advance The cnnectin cable must be prperly fastened and cnnected n bth sides First pass the three wires f the cnnectin cable thrugh the Cable gland Then thrugh the sealing insert The shield clamp The EMC cntact spring And the cnnectin thread int the terminal bx Then screw the cable gland t the cnnectin thread The shield f the cnnectin cable must be cnnected s as t ensure EMC cmpliance Make sure the gland is tight and tighten it t the specified trque (see Technical Data General). 4 / 6 TI
