The radi cmmunicatin takes place via a nn-exclusively available transmissin path, and is therefre nt suitable fr safety-related applicatins, such as emergency stp and emergency call. It allws peratin f the actuatrs in the ther system (Figure 2). Limited functinality The enet system has a wider range f functins than the radi bus system. Fr this reasn, the fllwing functins are nt pssible using the wireless cnverter: Scenes Threshld value functins and disabling functins Save switch-n brightness using transmitter Transmissin status and status feedbacks 4 Infrmatin fr electrically skilled persns Munting Maintain a distance f at least 0.5 m frm metal surfaces and electrical devices, e.g. micrwave vens, hi-fi and TV systems, electrnic ballasts r transfrmers. Maintain a distance f at least 0.3 m between transmitter and receiver in rder t prevent vermdulatin f the receiver. Insert device int scket utlet. 4.1 Cmmissining DANGER! Step B: Cnnect the enet transmitter t ne r mre Radi Bus actuatrs. Step (A): Press the Prg buttn (3) f the gateway fr lnger than 4 secnds. The status LED flashes after 4 secnds. The gateway is in prgramming mde fr apprx. 1 minute. Switch the enet transmitter t prgramming mde as well (see enet transmitter Briefly press the channel r scene buttn f the enet transmitter. The status LED f the gateway lights up fr apprx. 5 secnds. The gateway and enet transmitter exit the prgramming mde autmatically. Step (B): Switch ne r mre Radi Bus actuatrs t prgramming mde (see Radi Bus actuatr Press the channel buttn f the enet transmitter fr lnger than ne secnd r the scene buttn fr lnger than three secnds. The LEDs f the Radi Bus actuatrs light up. The enet transmitter is cnnected t the Radi Bus actuatrs. Exit the prgramming mde f the Radi Bus actuatrs (see Radi Bus actuatr /8

The Radi Bus transmitter is cnnected t the enet actuatrs. The gateway and enet actuatrs exit the prgramming mde autmatically /8

Resetting the device t the factry setting All the cnnectins in the gateway between transmitters and actuatrs are discnnected. Recmmissining must take place. i Befre resetting t the factry setting, discnnect cnnected Radi Bus actuatrs (see Discnnecting the cnnectin t the Radi Bus actuatr). This ensures that setting up new cnnectins des nt cause unintentinal switching peratins. Press the Prg buttn fr at least 20 secnds. The status LED flashes after 4 secnds. After 20 secnds the status LED flashes faster. Release the Prg buttn and press it nce again within 10 secnds. All the cnnectins are discnnected.
