2 Weather Sensrs C-WIH Weather Statin with I Rail Indr Unit The weather statin cnsists f an utdr unit with build-in wind-, rain-, light-, temperature- and GPS-sensr and an indr interface unit with a micrcmputer and pwer supply in a 2-TE case. The utdr unit is munted either n the rf r n a wall (suth side) and is cnnected with a 4 wire lw vltage-cable with the interface unit. The indr unit itself cnnects t the C bus via the I-Prt f a C- SHS, -SH, -HU, - r -UPP, -UPS frm serial number (since Jan 2012). ue t the GPS-receiver C-WIH transfers the precise time and date int the C bus. The interface unit supprts all time znes as well as lcal daylight saving times - wrldwide. escriptin: 172 C-WIH is a cmplete weather statin fr cntrlling all weatherdepending units and prcesses in a building. The parameters f all functins are being set in the C mdule cnnected. A parallel peratin with a C-IV (wrking as pulse cunter / cunting input) r IOS-periphery is nt pssible. The weather statin is wired with a cmmn telephne cable (0,8mmØ).The maximum length f the cable is 50m. etailed infrmatin is included in the installatin manual. Functinal specificatins: Outdr unit Wind sensr The wind sensr wrks withut mving parts: A measurement resistr is heated electrically. The wind blwing by cles the resistr. The wind speed is calculated with help f the temperature lss and written int the T-variable. Rain detectr The resistance between the electrdes n the lid f the rain detectr is reduced by rain drps. The sensr activates the binary input 8 f the C mdule. When the sensr surface dries again, it takes apprx. five minutes until the sensr reprts dry. ight sensr The sensr value is transferred t the R2-variable. The light can be handled fr example with threshld values. The sensr is embedded int the lid f the case. The measured light values are handled lgarithmically in rder t allw a large range f values. Temperature sensr The sensr value is transferred int the R1-variable. GPS-receiver The embedded GPS-receiver prvides the current time at nuclear clck precisin. The interface unit calculates the lcal time cnsidering pssible daylight saving time and sends it t the C-bus. Indr unit The interface unit cnverts the data f the weather statin and transfers it t it s C mdule via the I-Prt. It supplies the utdr unit and needs V line vltage. The casing is weather-prf and has a cnnectin cable f apprximately 3 metres in length. 8 Weather Sensrs C-SA ight sensr fr the utdr area The C-SA is a light sensr fr the utdr area. The light sensr cvers a very large measurement range f 5 decades (1-100,000 lux). The C-SA can be cmbined with any I prt peripheral equipment at the I prt f all intelligent C mdules (-UPP, -UPS, -UP24, -SH, - SHS, -HU, -). The C-SA can take effect n the R1 and R2 cntrllers as well as the signal threshlds 1-5. Measured values can be exchanged between C mdules and used fr arithmetic peratins. The sensr is supplied in a cmpact IP65 husing. escriptin: 178 The C-SA light sensr can be used t measure the brightness in the utdr area. This allws cmplex cntrl systems t be implemented fr interir and exterir lighting as well as shading systems.
