General recmmendatins: Cmmunicating lw vltage switchbards are a respnse t regulatry incentives and the need t cntrl pwer cnsumptin and energy csts They als imprve cntinuity f service by increasing the availability f pwer. The installatin switchbard shall therefre be equipped with a cmmunicating system that makes it pssible t: - mnitr mdular prtectin and cntrl units and prvide the centralized management system (PLC, supervisr, management sftware, etc.) with infrmatin n their status. - transmit rders frm the centralized system t the switchbard cntrl units - meter and transmit installatin pwer cnsumptin data t the centralized system 2. Characteristics, perating principle and indicatins: 3.1 General characteristics The cmmunicating Panelbard system system cmprises: One r mre cmmunicating data cncentratrs using an pen prtcl such as Mdbus RS485 serial line r Mdbus TCP/IP Gathering digital and analg inputs and cntrlling utput whse inputs / utputs are rganized by channel, with each channel used t cnnect ne electrical device cmpliant with the IEC/EN standard supplied by safety extra lw vltage <= 24 V DC Indicatin auxiliaries that signal mdular circuit breaker pen/clsed and tripped status cmpliant with the IEC/EN standard utput vltage 24 V DC Auxiliaries fr cntrl and indicatin f pen/clsed status f breakers r cntrl units (cntactrs and impulse relays) in accrdance with the IEC/EN standard Output vltages 24 V DC and 230 V AC Energy meter in accrdance with the IEC/EN & 31standard Cnnectin cables between the data cncentratr and the devices r auxiliaries equipped with plug-in cnnectrs The system shall allw the cnnectin f mnitring and cntrl units equipped with 24 V DC cntacts. 4 The system will integrate a switchbard display unit which will be cnnected via the Ethernet TCP / IP netwrk t the interfaces f cmmunicating switchbard. The switchbard display unit will ffer a direct and real-time access f display, simple cntrl f lad and device. The switchbard display unit will integrate functins f display : data f energy cnsumptin Fllwed electric values fr the mnitring f the installatins alarms and events Fllwed frm the qualitative value f the energy state / status f equipments, pened, clsed, activated, typical f release Fllwed frm the peratin data and frm predictive maintenance. The switchbard display unit will integrate functins f simple cntrl f lad and device via lgic utputs, rders f actuatr. 3.2 Measure Incmer ver 125A / Mlded Case circuit breaker Measure units shall ffer measurement withut additinal mdule t circuit breakers. Measures shall be either: Currents (Phases, Neutral, average, max), vltage, pwer, Energy, Ttal Vltage Harmnic distrtin, Ttal current harmnic distrtin. Status f circuit breaker peratins: Open/Clse/Tripped/NA Ti24 direct device cnnexin with pre-cnnectrize patchcrds (100 t 860 mm) 3.3 Operating and installatin principles Psitining, installatin and cnnectin f cmmunicating data cncentratrs When the applicatin requires the usage f several data cncentratrs: The data cncentratr enabling cmmunicatin with the mnitring system (utside the switchbard) culd be using a Mdbus TCP/IP The thers data cncentratrs inside the switchbard shall be using Mdbus RS485 SL The different data cncentratrs shall be intercnnected by Mdbus RS485 SL chaining, inside the switchbard The data cncentratrs shall be psitined fr quick viewing f cnnectins with the mnitring and cntrl devices They shall be capable f being installed between the rws f mdular devices, withut taking up any additinal space n the DIN rails The data cncentratrs shall be equipped with plug-in type input/utput terminal blcks The cncentratrs / devices links shall preferably be f the prefabricated type with cnnectrs that allw the cncentratr t be cnnected t the devices in a single peratin and with n risk f errr The data cncentratrs may be munted n the pwer distributin blcks s as t ptimise the cmbined installatin f pwer distributin and mnitring Operatin f the cmmunicating system The data cncentratrs shall be capable f being easily integrated int the installatin s cmmunicatin netwrk thanks t autmatic adaptatin f their cmmunicatin parameters t match thse f the netwrk They shall prvide data t the supervisr in Mdbus tables, at fixed addresses that require n cnfiguratin The data shall be f the fllwing type: psitin f inputs/utputs r Latest update:

The Mdbus TCP/IP data cncentratr shuld enable t mnitr and cntrl auxiliaries and devices using integrated web page The Mdbus TCP/IP data cncentratr shuld enable t mnitr analg sensrs Testing f the system in the switchbard The manufacturer shall supply a (sftware) tl fr verall testing f the system, within the limits f the switchbard: the entire data transmissin and cntrl chain between the mdular devices and all f the cncentratrs, including cmmunicatin. The test tl shall supply a reprt that includes the list f all the devices cnnected t each channel f the data cncentratrs as well as a diagram describing the cnfiguratin f the system with indicatin f the assciated Mdbus addresses. 4. Operatin and maintenance The cmmunicating data cncentratrs shall stre all f the calculated values, including in the event f a 24 V DC pwer failure. They shall be replaceable withut requiring any recnfiguratin ther than that related t the meters The system shall be capable f taking int accunt new mdular devices added t the installatin withut requiring any recnfiguratin f the data cncentratr. 5. Sustainable develpment Prductin site rganizatin shall cmply with the requirements f the ISO 9002 and ISO standards. Fr the devices, the manufacturer shuld be able t prvide fllwing arguments: Hazardus substances cntent (RHS cnfrmity declaratin & REACH assessment referring t last update f SVHC candidate list). Envirnmental impacts characterized by several indicatrs (thrugh Life Cycle Analysis & Prduct Envirnmental Prfile) with at least: Raw material depletin Energy depletin Glbal warming / carbn ftprint Water depletin Recyclability infrmatin (Prduct Envirnmental Prfile / End f Life Instructin).
