5 Phenix Main sftware features The OptiTest sftware is a stand-alne applicatin specially designed fr data capture with autmatic testing equipment. This mdule is a part f the AESA s Quality Management System CIQ 3.0 specially designed accrding t the needs f the cable manufacturing industry. - The sftware has been develped in the Micrsft Windws envirnment and cmplies with the Windws features. - All data gathered with OptiTest can be used fr further statistical evaluatins and cmbined with ther measurements gathered during the cmplete manufacturing prcess, frm incming gd inspectin until t the dispatch f the finished prduct. - N special HF r LF knwledge required, thus ideal fr shp flr integratin. - Full autmatic measurements. - The measurements can be perfrmed in the sweep mde and/r by using frequency tables. - Open chice fr start/stp frequencies and number f pints (fr HF sweep measurements, the test system allws t enter an unlimited number f measurement pints, which is nt limited by the specified number f pints as referred by the used VNA analyzer itself). - Chice f lgarithmic r linear scales. - Self-cnfigurable reprts. - Fully autmatic calibratin management including autmated calibratin prcedure. - Pssibility t create an unlimited number f cable specificatins and test sequences. These easy-t-use standards have been develped in the symmetrical way t get the maximum accuracy. Unfrtunately, these "daily" standards cannt be referenced as primary standards. But AESA has develped its HF technlgy by using hi-tech strategic cmpnents. These miniaturized resistrs are srted and guaranteed up t 3GHz. 9 Phenix During a quality cntrl calibratin, the symmetric elements have t be replaced by 50Ω caxial standards which are certified. With an apprpriate set f terminatins and attenuatrs, it is pssible t prve within defined tlerances that the testing system (netwrk analyzer + HF multiplexer + cnnecting frame) is measuring crrectly.
