4 2 Hardware Requirements 3DPIXA camera (shipped) Mving stage/cnveyer: The mving stage shuld be f high quality in rder t achieve high accurate 3D-measurement results. The mving stage shuld have a stable and nnvibrating mvement. Nte that vibrating mving stages influence the measurement results. Optinal: lifting table Fine scale lifting table might be needed, if bjects with different heights are measured. Yur bject can be placed at the best fcus plane f the camera with the help f the lifting table. A lifting table is especially recmmended, e.g. fr a 3D-demnstratin scanner system and if it is difficult t lift up and dwn yur 3DPIXA camera. 8 3 Sftware Requirements The general requirements f the PC can be fund in chapter 2 - Hardware Requirements. Chrmasens 3D- and camera sftware (prvided with a USB-stick, see chapter 3.1). Framegrabber sftware fr image acquisitin (shuld be prvided by the framegrabber manufacturer) 3DPIXA camera -firmware package: V 1.42 Optinal: Fr CS-3D-API examples nly: Develpment envirnment Micrsft Visual Studis 2010 MFC OpenCV Library v Included Chrmasens-Sftware 3D-Viewer: The Chrmasens 3D-Viewer is a C# prgram that uses the 3D-API t calculate 3D infrmatin frm the captured image(s). CS-3D-API: The Chrmasens CS-3D-API is a C++ library which prvides yu functins t calculate 3D infrmatin in a fast and scalable manner. The CS-3D-API calculates a rectified RGB/BGR/GRAY-image r/and a 8-/16-bit disparity image. Camera Setup Tl - CST: CS-API: Camera settings are adjusted t the desired perating cnditin by using the CST. The CS-API is a library that allws yu t directly cntrl the camera withut the CST. By uing the library, yu may adjust and cntrl camera settings directly frm yur wn applicatin. XLC4-Cmmander (fr Crna II illuminatin nly): The XLC4-Cmmander gives yu direct access t cntrl the Chrmasens Line Scan Illuminatin CD40130 Versin 7 8
