2 1. First recmmendatins: See the Media type functinality & features and chse the mst apprpriate media. It is essential yu have the media type crrectly calibrated with the printer and print mde, cnsult the Calibrate my printer dcument. In rder t get a crrect display, it s als essential yu have the mnitr calibrated, cnsult the Prfile my mnitr sectin. 2. Open Adbe Phtshp CS2. 3. Cnfigure the Clr Settings, Edit menu > Clr Settings : Make sure the Mre Optins are displayed. Wrking Space > RGB: Select the prfile f the scanner r camera yu have used t get the phts (surce prfile), if yu dn t have it, try srgb, Adbe RGB, ClrMatch RGB and thers) until yu are satisfied. Wrking Space > CMYK: Eurscale Cated v2 (fr Eurpe), U.S. Web Cated (SWOP) v2 (fr US) and Japan Standard v2 (fr Japan). Clr Management Plicies: Preserve Embedded Prfiles. Prfile Mismatches: Check Ask When Opening and Ask When Pasting. Missing Prfiles: Check Ask When Opening. Cnversin Optins > Intent: Perceptual. 2

3 Click OK. 4. Create the cntact sheet, File menu > Autmate > Cntact Sheet II : Surce Images > Use: Flder, and then click the Chse buttn t specify the flder cntaining the images yu want t use. Select Include All Subflders t include images inside any subflders. Dcument: Specify the Dimensins and Reslutin fr the cntact sheet. Mde: RGB Clr. Flatten All Layers: Select this t create a cntact sheet with all the images and text n a single layer. Deselect Flatten All Layers t create a cntact sheet in which each image is n a separate layer and each captin is n a separate text layer. Thumbnails: Specify layut ptins fr the thumbnail previews. Select Rtate Fr Best Fit t rtate the images, regardless f their rientatin, this is s they will fit efficiently n a cntact sheet. Use Filename As Captin: Select this t label the thumbnails using their surce image filenames. Use the menu t specify a captin fnt and fnt size. 3

4 Click OK. 5. Adbe Phtshp Print with Preview settings. File menu > Print with Preview : Page Setup : Frmat fr: Select the printer (ex. HP Designjet Z in Pht). Paper Size: Select the paper size f the media laded int the printer. Orientatin: Select the rientatin f yur image n the paper. Click OK. Set the Psitin and the Scaled Print Size yu need. Make sure the Mre Optins are displayed. Select the Clr Management tab: Print: Dcument. Optins > Clr Handling: Let Phtshp Determine Clrs. Optins > Printer prfile: Select the right prfile fr yur printer and paper type. Optins > Rendering Intent: Perceptual. 4

5 Click Print. 6. Chse driver Settings: Printer: Select the printer (ex. HP Designjet Z in Pht). Select Paper Type/Quality in the drp-dawn menu: Paper tab: Paper Type: Select the media type that is laded n the printer. Quality Optins: Standard and drag the slider t Quality. 5

6 Clr tab > Clr Optins: Select Print in clr. Select Clr Management > Applicatin Managed Clrs. 6
