1 University f Hyderabad ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM General Instructins: I. Applicatin fr entrance examinatin fr admissin t varius curses during is required t be submitted in the prescribed frm nline, available at A separate applicatin alng with applicatin fee is required t be submitted fr each curse nline. II. Candidates are required t pay the prescribed entrance examinatin fees (nn refundable) f Rs.550/- in the case f General Candidates, Rs. 350/- in the case f OBC Candidates and Rs.250/- in the case f SC/ST/PWD candidates thrugh the nline payment link prvided in the applicatin. III. Candidates are required t have a valid persnal ID and mbile number. It shuld be kept active till the cmpletin f the curse, if admissin is granted. In case a candidate des nt have a valid persnal ID, he/she shuld create a new ID befre applying nline. IV. Candidates are required t have a scanned (digital) image f his/her phtgraph (200 x 230 pixels), signature (140 x 60 pixels). V. Candidates shuld retain their Applicatin Number fr further reference safely. VI. The list f shrt listed candidates will be psted n the University Websites nly as per the given schedule. N individual cmmunicatin will be sent t the candidates. Candidates need nt send hard cpy t the University. I. The last date t apply is 5 th May The nline applicatin frm and the payment gateway shall cease t functin n the midnight f 5 th May II. If a candidate wishes t apply fr multiple curses/prgrammes f study, a separate applicatin frm is t be filled nline fr each curse and applicatin fee fr each nline applicatin is t be paid separately. Other Imprtant instructins: Phtgraph Image: Phtgraph must be a recent ne and shuld be in passprt size clur pht, preferably with white backgrund. If yu wear spectacles then make sure that there are n reflectins and yur eyes are clearly visible. Caps/hats and dark glasses are nt acceptable. Religius headgear is allwed but it must nt cver yur face. The phtgraph shuld be in 200 x 230 pixels dimensins. Ensure that the size f the scanned image is belw 50KB. If the size f the file is mre than 50 KB, then adjust the settings s as t ensure that the size f the file des nt exceed 50KB. (ii) Signature Image: The applicant s signature image is t be n a white backgrund and signed in blue/black ball pint pen. The signature image will be appended n the Hall Ticket and wherever necessary. If the Applicant's signature n the answer script, at the time f the examinatin, des nt match with the signature n the Hall Ticket, then the applicant will nt be allwed t write the entrance examinatin. The signature shuld be in 140 x 60 pixels dimensins. Ensure that the size f the scanned image is belw 10KB.

2 Instructins fr filling the nline applicatin: Online applicatin with the details f Curse/Prgramme, Subject, Centre and ther infrmatin, nce submitted cannt be mdified under any circumstances at a later stage. The prcess f submissin f nline applicatin is explained in 8 screen shts as fllws: Screen 1: n clicking the nline applicatin link the fllwing screen will appear. The details t be filled are given at the end f this screen. Chice f Examinatin Centre: 1. The Candidates have t give 3 chices fr Entrance Examinatin Centre. The University reserves the right t change a Centre if the number f applicatins in that centre are less than 300 r fr any ther administrative reasns. 2. Once the ptin fr a Centre is exercised, n request fr change f Centre will be entertained. 3. The University reserves the right t cancel any f the abve Examinatin Centres and allt anther Centre clser t the Centre cancelled.

3 Chice/ Preference in curses where Preference is prvided The candidate applying fr any f the fllwing curses 1) M.Sc.(5-year Integrated) Curses in Sciences, 2) M.A. (5-year Integrated) Curses in Scial Sciences and 3) M.F.A. Painting / Print Making / Sculpture is required t select frm the table given belw, their rder f preference. Gender : Male / Female / transgender Natinality : Indicate whether Indian r Freign natinal. State f Dmicile: Mentin the State/Unin Territry t which yu rdinarily belng. Categry: Select, as applicable, frm the drp dwn menu. OBC candidates are required t submit the latest caste certificate, in the prescribed frmat specified by the Gvt. f India, issued nt later than 01/04/2015. PWD and Wards/Dependents f Defense Persnnel: If claiming reservatin under Persns with Disabilities (Physically challenged) r the wards/dependents f Defence Persnnel categry, indicate the same crrectly. Psitin regarding results f qualifying examinatin: Indicate EP fr exam passed, RA fr exam appeared and waiting fr results, and NA fr nt yet appeared fr the qualifying exam. Give ther infrmatin as required in the nline applicatin frm. Once all the required details are furnished in the Screen 1 and submitted, an applicatin number is generated and the Screen 2 will appear. Candidates shuld retain their Applicatin Number fr further reference safely.

4 Screen 2: Prvide the infrmatin abut the natinal level test f UGC JRF, UGC NET, etc. if applying fr M.Phil. and Ph.D. Once all the required details are furnished in the screen 2 and saved, the Screen 3 will appear.

5 Screen 3: The family particulars and residence details may be prvided. Once all the required details are furnished in the screen 3 and saved, the Screen 4 will appear.

6 Screen 4: Candidates are required t prvide the details as required in the abve screen starting frm 10 th standard t the qualifying examinatin. If qualifying degree result is in the frm f CGPA, then the details f equivalent percentage f cnversin may be furnished. Once all the required details are furnished in the screen 4 and saved, the Screen 5 will appear. Screen 5: The details f emplyment may be prvided, if the candidate is emplyed n the date f applicatin. Once all the required details are furnished in the screen 5 and saved, the screen 6 will appear.

7 Screen 6: The required infrmatin in the abve screen may be furnished. Once all the required details are furnished in the screen 6 and saved, the Screen 7 will appear.

8 Screen 7: The applicant shuld prvide crrect mailing address, Permanent address and ther details as required in the abve screen. Once all the required details are furnished in the screen 7 and saved, the Screen 8 will appear.

9 Screen 8: 1. Make the payment by using abve payment link Pay Fees Online. Yur applicatin is nt valid unless the payment is made befre the last date. 2. Please nte that n ther mde f payment is accepted except nline.
