Meter Or mre Hand Held meters with RS232 interface feature. This sftware is user-freindly t meet yur maximum satisfactin. FEATURES: Up t 10,000 sample readings with real-time clck memry. Prgrammable sample interval frm 1 secnd t 3,600 secnds. User-defined maximum (High) and minimum alarm (Lw) setting. Allw further analysis by dwnlading data t cmputer prgram. T assist data analysis and prcess cntrl, all data is saved in text frmat (.txt) and can be easily transfrmed fr use by Micrsft Office sftware applicatins. 4 THE PACKAGE IS SUPPLIED WITH: 1) A CD ROM. 2) RS232 cable with D-sub cnnectr. 3) Operatin manual. Hardware requirement: Windws 98/2000/NT/XP peratin system with COM1 t COM4 serial prts. Installatin prcedure : 1. Cnnect the scket f RS232 t COM prt. 2. Insert CD-ROM t the cmputer fr starting sftware set up. 3. See the diagram as an example f RS232 Sftware fr yur Hand held meter. a) Install Sftware Run the set up installatin prgram b) Web Site Visit ur web site in yur brwser c) Brw CD-ROM Brwse the CD-ROM using Windws d) Manual T view the detail peratin manual e) Exit Exit the sftware installatin 2

5 EASY OPERATION: Diagram A shws when yu enter the prgram and befre cnnecting with any Hand Held meters. While there is n meter cnnected, the reading in tw blcks shwed withut title. Diagram A Take Psychrmeter (Dual K Type Input) as example While linking with yur persnal cmputer, yu will see "Air" and "RH" displayed. (See Diagram B) Left Side :Display AIR Temperature Right Side : Display RH (Humidity Value) 3

7 Real time Value Diagram D Real time "Air" temperature shws at the left side temperature blck (See Diagram D). Alarm will be sparkling in red if a measured value exceeds the high limit r belw the lw limit. START RECORDING 5 Diagram E On-line lgging started Press START buttn t active the recrding. When starting, the text "Lgging Data" will appear n the left crner f the graphic. All parameters will be shwn with different clr curves. Different clr texts shw belw the chart indicate the meaning f each curve. Fr example: black curve is Air, red curve is RH...etc.(See Diagram E) 5

8 RETRIEVE FILE Retrieve File Diagram F TO OPEN A FILE 1. Clicking " Retrieve File" n the tl bar r press Alt+R. Yu will see Diagram F Duble-click the flder that cntains the dcument yu want t pen. Click the dcument name, and then click OK. 3. All dcuments are saved as *.txt file types, n ther files type are valid. Diagram F-1 6

9 SAVE FILE 1. T save a file, clicking " Save File " n the menu bar r press Alt+F.Yu will see Diagram G. Lk in: 8711.txt 8721.txt ph1116.txt Diagram G File name: File f type: 2. Yu can save the recrded data with a new name by editing a new name in file name blck. 3. After saving the file, mre statistics r analysis can be dne with ther prgrams. COM. PORT SETTING Click "Cm. Prt" n the menu bar, r press Alt + C simultaneusly t enter Cm. Prt setting. (See Diagram G-1) Set up RS232 prt,baud rate, Data bits, Parity and Stp bits. See Page 12 t 22 fr the details f each meter. Generally it is COM1 fr PC, thers depend n yur cmputer settings. It is up t COM4 in this prgram. Click "OK" t save the setting r "CANCEL" t exit withut saving. 7

10 Diagram G-1 LOGGER SETTING There are 3 settings at the left side f the screen: (1)Lgger Setting, (2)Dispaly Range and (3)Display Cntrl. (1)Lgger Setting (See Diagram H) Sample data: 2000, 4000, 6000, 8000, recrds. Sample rate (Secnd): 1~3600. If the rate entered is ut f the range, an "ut f range" chart will appear as Diagram I and shw the valid min. & max. values. Diagram H Diagram I 8

11 (2)Display Range (See Diagram J) There are 5 ranges: 0.5K(500), 1K, 2K, 5K, 10K fr setting the divisin f the number f reading recrds shws n the screen. FOR EXAMPLE : If the screen shws display range indicatr n "0.5K". The screen will be shwing frm 0000 t 0499f fr a ttal 500 recrds. 30 STATISTICS Click "Statistics" n the menu bar r press Alt + T simultaneusly t see statistics in histgram frmat On the left up crner, yu culd chse which parameter yu want t see its statical data. The divisin f data can be set up frm 4 divisins t 20 divisins. Histgram will be autmatically changed nce yu re-set interval. Maximum, Minimum, Mean and Std. Dev (Standard Deviatin) are autmatically calculated and shwn n the right side f the screen. The red dt will flash every 10 secnds t indicate the statistical data are in the cntinuus updating status. 28

31 PRINT GRAPH T change printers and printing ptins: T click Print Graph n the tl bar. Or press Alt + P n the keybard. T change printers. Click Prperties, then select a printer in name. T change paper specificatins. Select the settings yu want in Graphics Optins. 29

32 PRIVATE LOGO At the right up crner f the main screen. The sftware presets the lg f the brand yu bught. If private lg is required (the rder quantity shuld meet the minimum request), t prvide a clear lg in clr is needed. HELP If yu have questin abut the peratin, yu culd click HELP r press Alt+H t pen the txt file and find the related cntent. WARRANTY The meter is warranted t be free frm defects in material and wrkmanship fr a perid f ne year frm the date f purchase. This warranty cvers nrmal peratin and des nt cver battery, misuse, abuse, alteratin, tampering, neglect, imprper maintenance, r damage resulting frm leaking batteries. Prf f purchase is required fr warranty repairs. Warranty is vid if the meter has been pened. 30
