3 1. General 1.1 General inf Sme features and functins may differ depending n the perating system, sftware versin, cuntry f use and the used mbile/tracking device. The user manual may cntain errrs and is subject t change at any time. Yu may cnsult ur technical service fr supprt: supprt@ultracm.fi This user manual is updated n August 30th, Ultracm subscriptin and additinal services Ultracm subscriptin: There are three different types f Ultracm subscriptins available fr the applicatin: 1 mnth, 3 mnths and 12 mnths. Withut a valid subscriptin yu can use the map, track AVIUS device, track GSM/GPS based devices with SMS and lcate yur wn psitin. Server functins, like sharing yur lcatin r the psitining data f yur devices are nt available withut a valid subscriptin. Tracker/ Pinter crss tracking: Tracker- and Pinter- device crss tracking via data. Crss tracking requires an active Ultracm subscriptin. 1.3 Operatr settings The mbile subscriptin used fr the mbile device must be able t use data and SMSmessages. Please check the suitability f yur mbile subscriptin frm yur peratr. If a prepaid SIM -card is used, please check that there is enugh paid balance n the SIM -card. 1.4 General infrmatin n dwnlading the applicatin and mbile device requirements A valid Apple ID is required t dwnlad the applicatin Mbile devices user manual, r the mbile device manufacturer will advise yu abut creating an Apple ID-accunt. After installatin the applicatin is an unregistered versin and it has t be registed. Applicatin is registered and lcked t the user s mbile phne number. The applicatin can be transferred t anther phne number if necessary. Minimum required Apple ios versin is 8.0. Ultracm Avius VHF-tracking device requires Bluetth Lw Energy (BLE) supprt frm the mbile device. 3

4 2. Dwnlading the applicatin 1. Open the Apple App Stre n yur mbile device. 2. In the search field type Ultracm and click search. 3. Tap n the Ultracm -icn n the list. 4. Tap install (a clud picture with an arrw facing dwnwards). 5. Yur mbile device will dwnlad and install the applicatin autmatically. 6. Click Open r find the applicatin icn n the mbile devices applicatin list and start the applicatin. 3. Registering the applicatin 1. Applicatin will ask yur permissin t use yur lcatin. Read the nte and give the applicatin permissin by tapping Allw. 2. Applicatin will ask yu next f rights t send ntificatins, tap Allw. 3. Next the applicatin requires a registratin. The applicatin is registered t the mbile number f the device yu are installing it t. Select register. 4. Select the regin where the applicatin is being used and enter the mbile phne number (phne number must be the mbile devices phne number that the applicatin is used n). 5. Accept the terms and cnditins and click submit registratin. 6. T cmplete yur registratin the applicatin requests t enter a security cde that is sent t yu by SMS. Enter the security cde and finalize the registratin by entering the cde and by tapping cmplete. If the mbile phne keybard is cvering the text field, tap n screen in any field utside the keybard and the keybard will be hidden. 7. Applicatin will infrm that the registratin is successful. The applicatin will change t the map view and the applicatins features are ready fr use. If yu skipped the registratin, the applicatin will ask yu t registrate every time yu start using the applicatin. Unregistered applicatin will functin with limited features. Registered applicatin will have a free subscriptin fr tw weeks. After the free perid, yu can make a subscribtin directly in the applicatin, at an authrized Ultracm retailer r in Ultracm webshp. Fr mre infrmatin n rdering and activating subscriptins, see the sectin Ordering and activating the subscriptin A subscriptin can be purchased directly in the applicatin, frm yur retailer r yu can buy a subscriptin in the Ultracm webshp. Tap the UC -icn n the upper left crner f the map view t pen the main menu. Select Order/Activate n the main menu. Select rder methd frm the drp-dwn menu: - Activatin cde: enter the activatin cde frm yur subscriptin card. The card will redeem yu the the subscriptin indicated n the card (1 mnth, 3 mnths r 12 mnths). 4

5 - App stre prduct: yu can select a prduct frm the drpdwn menu. After selecting the prduct, tap Cnfirm rder and the applicatin will transfer yu t pay fr the rder in the app stre. 5. Adding a tracking device t the applicatin At first make sure that the trackin device has been set-up accrding t the user manual f the device. The fllwing device ptins are available in the applicatin: 5.1 Device search Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device n the menu. On the device type menu, select Device search. Yu may search the device by device ID r by telephne number. This functin is supprted by Ultracm R10, Nvus and Dg-GPS. Nvus and Dg-GPS can be fund with device search -functin nly if the device has sent lcatin data t the server (yu are tracking a friend s device). With Ultracm R10 when yu enter the device ID n t the field and tap Search, if it is the first-time-use f the device the passwrd will nt be asked. Hwever, if the device has been used befre and yu are adding yur friend s R10, the applicatin will ask fr device passwrd. 5.2 Ultracm R10 Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device and frm the list select Ultracm R10. Enter the Device ID -number t the indicated field and tap search. If the device is added fr the first time, the applicatin will nt ask yu fr a passwrd. If the device has been in use befre and yu are adding a friends R10 device, then the applicatin will ask fr the passwrd. Yu will find the device s ID -number n the first page f the R10 user manual r under the cllar part f the device n a sticker. When adding the device fr the first time, the applicatin will ask yu t input infrmatin n the device. Details infrmatin fields are: Name: yu can enter a name fr the device. Tap n the field and write a name fr yur device. Icn: yu can select an icn fr the device. T find mre icn ptins, tap n the icn. Master Passwrd: yu can define a master passwrd fr the device. If a user knws the ID number and the master passwrd, he may change the tracking interval and ther settings f the device. Hwever, in the master-level yu the user cannt add, delete r change the device admins. Admin user is the wner f the device wh is fully entitled t all functins f the device. The first admin is the user that first adds the R10 device t the applicatin. 5

6 Visitr Passwrd: yu can define a visitr passwrd fr the device. If a user knws the ID number and the visitr passwrd, the user may track the device, but nt change any f the device settings. Optinal infrmatin fields are: Tel. number: yu can enter the telephne number f the device. This will enable the call functin (bark listening) fr the device. Nte that if yur device came with the Ultracm GlbalSIM, the SIM-card number can be fund n the first page f the user manual. The Ultracm GlbalSIM number is input in the +45 frmat. Visible: selected mde defines if the device is shwn n the map. This ptin is useful if yu wish t remve the device temprarily frm the map view. Barklimit: number defines hw many barks the bark calculatr must register befre the device will interpret that the dg is barking. T high barklimit may cause a situatin where the device is nt reacting quickly enugh t a dg bark. T lw barklimit may cause a situatin where the device is t sensitive t barks and grund vegetatin tuching the cllar may be interpreted as barking. Standard setting (2) is the recmmended setting. Track size: the number defines hw many waypints will be drawn n the map. If yu enter a greater figure the pathline will be drawn frm a lnger perid and when the figure is smaller the pathline will be frm a shrter time. Favrite: yu can select yur device t be a favrite n the devices list. Devices can be filtered accrding t the favurites, activity etc. Admin inf fields are: Admin phne 1,2 and 3: yu can add up t tw ther admin users fr the device. Admin user can always call the device (if the phne number has been defined). Admin user can als add mre admins and change all the settings n the device. Admin user is usually the wner f the device. When yu have entered all the required data, tap Save n the tp f the screen. Applicatin will return t devices view. Return t the map view and tap n the red Paw -icn n the lwer left part f the map view. 5.3 Dg-GPS/Nvus Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device and select Dg-GPS/Device n the list. Details infrmatin fields are: Type: device type (device type is already defined). Phne: enter the device s mbile phne number in an internatinal frmat. Passwrd: give the device a preferred passwrd. Name: give the device a preferred name. Icn: Set an icn fr the device. Yu may brwse the icns by tapping the icn. Visible: selected mde defines if the device is shwn n the map. This ptin is useful if yu wish t remve the device temprarily frm the map view. Applicatin will ask yu t define the access pint name (APN). If yu are adding yur friend s tracking device select Cancel. If yu are adding yur wn device select Set APN. In the pening view, tap n the select netwrk selectin and chse the peratr f the SIM-card f yur tracking device. If yu can t find the crrect peratr, yu can always write the peratr APN n the area that is under the selectin menu. Send the settings t the device by tapping n the Send request selectin. The applicatin creates an SMS-message with infrmatin that it needs t send t the device. Send the SMS t the device. After that the applicatin will create anther message, send this message als t the device. After this return t the map view. The applicatin will cnfirm the access pint name t be changed and the device tracking will start. 5.4 Ultracm applicatin Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device and select Applicatin n the list. Details infrmatin fields are: Type: device type is selected autmatically (Ultracm applicatin) Phne number: enter the telephne number f the applicatin t be tracked in an internatinal frmat. Name: write a descriptive name fr the applicatin that yu are ging t track. Icn: select an icn fr the applicatin t be tracked. Yu may brwse the icns by tapping n the icn. Favrite: yu can select that the applicatin yu are adding t be a favrite n the devices list. Devices can be filtered accrding t the favurites, activity etc. Visible: selected mde defines if the tracked applicatin is shwn n the map. This ptin is useful if yu wish t remve the tracked applicatin temprarily frm the map view. Track size: the number defines hw many waypints will be drawn n the map. If yu enter a greater figure the pathline will be drawn frm a lnger perid and when the figure is smaller the pathline will be frm a shrter time. When all the required infrmatin is added, tap Save n the tp right crner. Applicatin will return t the device list. Return t the map view and the applicatin yu are tracking appears n the map. 7

8 5.5 Avius Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device and select Avius n the list. Details infrmatin fields are: Type: device type is autmatically selected (Avius) Device ID: enter the device ID number f yur Avius cllar. Yu can find the device ID frm the Avius user manual s first page r under the cllar part f the Avius by sliding the cllar part ff frm the device. Name: write a name fr the device t be tracked Icn: select an icn fr the device t be tracked. Yu can tap the icn and brwse by swiping the icns. Device passwrd: when adding a new Avius device, the passwrd shuld be left as default (0000). Yu can change the passwrd later frm the inf-menu. Favrite: yu can select yur device t be a favrite n the devices list. Devices can be filtered accrding t the favurites, activity etc. Visible: selected mde defines if the device is shwn n the map. This ptin is useful if yu wish t remve the device temprarily frm the map view. When yu have entered the required infrmatin, tap n the save buttn n the tp right crner f the screen. The applicatin will return t the Devices view. Return n the map view by tapping n the Back buttn. T cnnect t the Avius hst device, tap n the AviusLINK -icn n the tp f the map view (small Avius hst device icn, mre infrmatin can be fund n chapter 6.1). This will pen the AviusLINK hst device search. Yur mbile device will ask fr a permissin t make a Bluetth cnnectin, tap accept. Select yur hstdevice n the list. If the device is nt fund, tap the magnifying glass - icn n the tp right crner. Nte! Device pairing shuld be dne with n ther Avius hst devices in use nearby! Accept the Bluetth cnnectin request by clicking k. Cnnectin is made between the mbile phne and the Avius hst device. If yu wish t share the tracking infrmatin, turn the device tracking n by tapping n the Tracking n/ff -icn (see mre infrmatin in chapter 6.1.). When the tracking is n, the tracking infrmatin will be sent t the server where ther users wh knw the device s ID number and passwrd can track the device in 30 sec. interval. AviusLINK can be turned ff and n by tapping AviusLINK -icn. 8

9 5.6 AviusSEARCH Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device. Select AviusSEARCH n the list. Set the Avius cllar and the Avius hst device next t each ther s that the antennas n the devices crss each ther. Applicatin will ask the name f the Avius device t be added. Enter the name and tap Start frm the tp right crner. Applicatin will start an Avius hst device search. Applicatin will ask a permissin t use the mbile phne Bluetth cnnectin. Tap Accept and the applicatin will start t search Avius hst devices nearby. Chse yur Avius hst device n the list. Applicatin will add the device n the Devices -list. Device will be added with standard settings. Nte! Device pairing shuld be dne with n ther Avius hst devices in use nearby! If yu wish t share the tracking infrmatin, turn the device tracking n by tapping n the Tracking n/ff -icn (see mre infrmatin can be fund n chapter 7.1.). When the tracking is n, the tracking infrmatin will be sent t the server where ther users wh knw the device s ID number and passwrd can track the device in 30 sec. interval. Check the ther Avius settings and ptins and their definitins in chapter Tracker LIVE Open the main menu n the tp left crner by tapping n the UC -icn. Select Add device and select TrackerLive n the list. Details infrmatin fields are: Type: defaut setting is Tracker LIVE. Share name: enter the device share name. Ask the share name frm the Tracker r Pinter device wner. Name: write a name fr the device t be tracked. Icn: select an icn fr the device t be tracked. Yu can click the icn and brwse by swiping the icns. Viewer passwrd: give the device a viewer s passwrd. Yu will get the passwrd frm the device wner. Favurite: here the device can be defined as a favurite. Devices and applicatins can be filtered in the list by ppularity, activity etc Visible: selected mde defines if the device is shwn n the map. This ptin is useful if yu wish t remve the device temprarily frm the map view. 10 When yu have entered the required infrmatin, tap n tp right crner n the Save selectin. The applicatin will return t Devices view. Return t the map view frm the upper left crner. Applicatin will search fr the added device frm the Tracker server. Device shuld be fund in abut ne-minute. If a ntice Device nt fund appears after ne minute, check the settings and make sure the device is turned n. 6. Applicatin map view In applicatin map view yu can see the devices lcatin, rute and yu can mdify the general settings f the device. - T mve the map, drag yur finger in the directin yu want t mve the map. - T zm in and zm ut pinch tw f yur fingers tgether r spread yur fingers apart. Nte! Only the active devices are shwn n the map view. 6.1 Applicatin tp menu and icns On the tp left side f the screen is the main menu buttn. Main menu is pened by tapping n the UC icn. AviusLINK n/ff: this ptin will turn the AviusLINK n. Avius link is required t establish a Bluetth cntact with the Avius hst device. Tracking n/ff: this ptin turns the tracking n, n the GSM- based devices (R10, Nvus, Dg-GPS). This als turns n the Avius lcatin sharing. Own lcatin n/ff: turn yur wn lcatin n. User s lcatin status is shwn n the lwer right crner f the screen with its wn icn. When wn lcatin is set n, yur travelled distance and speed appear n the tp bar f the map view. All f the symbl clrs are the fllwing: - Grey, functin is ff - Yellw, functin is starting up r the desired functin cannt be finalized withut user s actin (fr example mbile device GPS receiver is ff, server cnnectin is nt available, device s GPS is nt n r Avius hst device is ff. 10

11 - Green, cnnectin is n and the functin in use 6.2 Applicatin bttm menu and icns In the applicatins bttm menu yu find the cntrlling ptins fr the device. Yu can lck the tracking fr the device by tapping n the paw -icn. A small white lck appears inside the paw t indicate that the map view is lcked t the selected device. Yu can unlck the view by mving the map with yur finger t any directin. In the middle f the bttm menu is the device name and n the right side is the speed f the device, time f the latest tracking infrmatin (hurs, minutes and secnds frm last received lcatin update) and yur wn, r the cursr s distance frm the selected device. When the dg starts t bark, then the bark calculatr s infrmatin is als shwn n the bttm bar. By tapping n the bttm bar, yu can see the the quick-functins and settings f the selected device. Yu find mre infrmatin f the device specific selectins starting frm chapter Lcating devices and applicatins After the device has been set-up and all the required settings have been sent t the device, the device will start t send lcatin t the server autmatically. In Avius the default lcatin interval is 3 secnds and in ther devices it is 60 secnds. The tracking interval can be changed n all devices. Applicatin will start sending the infrmatin t the server autmatically after device has been added and selected, except fr the Avius device which will nt autmatically start t share the lcatin t the server. Tracking can be turned n r ff n the tp right crner f the map view by tapping the Tracking On/Off -icn. If the tracking is activated fr an Avius device, the applicatin will send the tracking infrmatin with a 30 secnd interval t the server. Other users wh knw the device ID and passwrd can als track the device withut the need f Avius hst device. T be able t use the data tracking, yu need t have a valid Ultracm subscribtin in yur applicatin. Withut valid Ultracm subscriptin, yu can see yur wn lcatin, lcatin f the Avius device and yu can lcate devices using SMS. 7.1 Changing the tracking interval and menus n Ultracm R10, Dg-GPS and Nvus By tapping n the bttm bar f the map view yu can see the selected device s quick-inf screen: - Inf & settings: by tapping the inf symbl (i -letter) devices inf and settings view will pen. There yu can find all the functins fr the device. Device functins are listed in chapter Chat: pens a chat windw where yu can send messages t ther users fllwing the same device. - Get track: with this functin yu can fetch a rute frm a certain time perid. 11

12 - Call: with this functin yu can call the device, if the device supprts the call functin. With Ultracm R10 a telephne number shuld be defined fr the device therwise the call functin is nt visible. - Tracking interval can be changed by tapping Tracking interval (secs). 7.2 Menus and changing the tracking interval n Ultracm Avius By tapping n the bttm bar f the map view yu can see the selected device s quick-inf screen: - Inf & settings: by tapping the inf symbl (i -letter) devices inf and settings view will pen, there yu can find all the functins fr the device. Device functins are listed in chapter Chat: pens a chat windw where yu can send messages t ther users fllwing the same device. - Get track: with this functin yu can fetch a rute frm a certain time perid. - Tracking interval can be changed by tapping Tracking interval (secs) ptin and by chsing the wanted tracking interval. Nte that n Avius the tracking interval can nly be changed when the Avius cllar is clse enugh t the hst device (apprx. 500m-1000m depending n the terrain). 7.3 Ultracm applicatin and Tracker/Pinter device menu By tapping n the bttm bar f the map view yu can see the selected device s quick-inf screen: - Inf & settings: by tapping the inf symbl (i -letter) devices inf and settings view will pen, there yu can find all the functins fr the device. Device functins are listed in chapter Chat: pens a chat windw where yu can send messages t ther users fllwing the same device - Get track: with this functin yu can fetch a rute frm a certain time perid. 7.4 Other device specific selectins Depending n the mdel f the device and/r the mbile device type, different kind f features will appear n the menus. The infrmatin is listed in alphapetical rder: Add admin: yu may add a new administratr t the device. Applicatin will ask yu t add the new admin s telephne number. There can be maximum f three administratrs in use. Administratr can add and remve ther admins and change the device settings. Add temprary listener: yu can add a user s phne number that temprarily call and listen the device. Temprary listeners will be remved autmatically when the device is turned ff. Applicatin versin/applicatin: Versin f the applicatin. By tapping the selectin, the applicatin update cmmand will pen. Enter the safety cde in the field and send the cmmand, either as a data r SMS cmmand. The device will be updated t the latest firmware versin and it will return t nrmal tracking after the update. Mre infrmatin f 12

13 the update and changes in the firmware versins can be fund n ur supprt pages. Bark Alarm: Yu can set the device t send an alert as SMS (Ultracm R10 will send the alarm as a push-ntificatin) t the sftware when the device registers the given number f barks per minute. The alarm can be set frm 1 t 100 barks. Setting the alarm t 0 will disable the set alarm. Bark sensitivity: Yu can adjust the bark sensitivity either gradually (n Ultracm R10) r in five different steps (least sensitive, less sensitive, factry setting, sensitive, mre sensitive). With a mre sensitive setting, the device respnds mre sensitively t barking and ther sunds. When adjusted less sensitive, the device des nt react s easily t barking and ther sunds. Bark frequency: Hw many barks has the device registeres during the last minute. Bark time: the ttal bark time registered by the device and the bark time f the current perid in minutes. Battery status: the remaining battery capacity. Tap t change the pwer saving mde (nrmal, medium, high -> see mre n pwer saving mde/ pwer saving belw). Beacn light: if the device has a beacn light, yu can turn the light n and ff n the applicatin. Beacn light is useful if the dg appraches a rad r if it s getting dark. Call management: allw r disable all calls t the device. Device will always answer t the call cming frm the admin, regardless f what the call management settings is. Change passwrd: change the passwrd f the Avius device. Cntact mde: sets the Avius hst device in cntact mde. In cntact mde the Avius hst device transmits the signal f the selected Avius cllar t ther Avius hst devices. The mde switches ff the hst devices Bluetth cnnectin. By using the cntact mde, the range f the Avius cllar can be increased signifigantly. Nte that when in cntact mde the hst device cannt transfer infrmatin t the user s mbile device, s a secnd Avius hst device is required. Yu can switch ff the cntact mde by tapping the cnnectin buttn n the hst device. Cuntry: yu can change the cuntry f use. The Avius device will change settings accrding t the cuntry f use. Delete temprary user: remve temprary listeners (users that can call t the device) frm the device. Optin asks yu t enter the telephne number t be remved. All temprary users may be remved by restarting the device r by deleting them individually. Device APN: If the mbile peratr n yur devices SIM-card has changed, yu may change the cntact inf (APN) f the device with this ptin. In the drp-dwn menu chse the peratr f the SIM card. Send bth SMS-messages created by the applicatin t the device. Frimware - cllar: Avius cllar applicatin versin. Firmware hst device: Avius hst device applicatin versin. Gefence: device will send an SMS (n R10 the applicatin sends a push-ntificatin) t the applicatin when the device crsses the preset distance. Distance is meters. Setting the distance t 0 will turn ff the set gefence alarm. GSM signal: the GSM signal level f the device (cverage). Hst device- battery status: Battery status f the hst device. Latitude: latitude f the device Lngitude: lngitude f the device. Odmeter: the distance measured in meters. Tap n the ptin t change the value t the desired metric amunt. Pwer saving: Set the pwer saving mde as fllws: 13

14 -Nrmal pwer saving: nrmal peratin mde, n enhanced pwer saving. -Mid level pwer saving: turns ff the GPS frm time t time t save pwer. -High pwer saving mde: in additin t mid level pwer saving, device prevents calls and text messages frm all ther users except fr the admins. Query listeners: lists all f the temprary users (users that can call yur tracking device). Temprary users will be reset autmatically when the device is turned ff. Reset barktime: reset the ttal barking time calculated and the barking time f the current sessin. Satellites: number f currently fund satellites. Shw admins: device will shw its administratrs. There can be maximum f three administratrs. Administratr can add and remve ther administratrs and change the device settings. Signal level: Avius VHF signal strenght f the device. Smart tracking: yu can turn n smart tracking by speed r barking interval. Device will autmatically increase the tracking interval if the preset speed r barking interval is exceeded. SMS settings: allw r prevent SMS-messages t the device. The admin can always send text messages t the device even if the setting is disabled. Speed km/h: speed f the device in km/h. Stand alert: this selectin will set a standing alarm fr the device. When the device des nt mve in the preset time, applicatin gives an alarm t the admins mbile device. Standing alarm can be set frm 15 secnds t 250 secnds. Temperature: the temperature f the device. Temperature is measured inside the device, s the temperature is indicative nly and shuld nt be used fr accurate temperature measurement. Time elapsed: time f last lcatin received. Timestamp: date and time f the last lcatin infrmatin. Tracking interval (secs): tracking interval in secnds. Tap the ptin and yu may chse the tracking interval fr the device 8. Main menu functins The main menu is pened by tapping n the UC -lg n the upper left crner f the screen. On the main menu there are the fllwing ptins. 8.1 Devices and adding a device Devices will pen the device menu. Yu can filter the device list by activity r by favurites. Yu can edit devices and remve a device by swiping frm right t left. On the tp f the devices -menu there is an ptin t add devices (a picture f a persn with a + n the side). By tapping n the icn, yu can add a new device. Yu can backup and restre the device list and stre it t the server by tapping n the tp right crner f the screen (three verlapping pints). Frm the pening menu select Backup t server r Restre frm server. Mre infrmatin n string and restring devices can be fund n chapter 8.6. With the Add device... functin the device will be added quickly n the device list. Mre infrmatin f this functin will be fund n chapter 5. 14

15 8.2 Recently used devices Five f the last selected and used devices will appear n the recently used listing. Yu may easily fcus n anther device by tapping n the device. 8.3 Landmarks and map tls Tap n the Landmarks ptin n the main menu t pen the landmark entries stred in the mbile device. The arrw n the tp left crner f the view returns t the map view. Yu can create landmarks (lines, markings etc.) using the map tls. Map tls can be pened frm the lwer left side f the map screen (red dt which has a crss inside it). The tls pen in the middle f the screen. T start making an entry, select the pen plus icn. Yu can see the crdinates f the cursr n the tp f the screen and the distance between the pints f measurement. The drawing line f the measure is indicated by dtted line. T cnfirm the line, tap the icn again. T cancel the drawing, yu may tap the pen icn with a minus next t it. Diskette icn pens the marking r line saving menu. Enter a name fr the entry and select whether t display it n the map. Fr example, if yu want t temprarily remve a map entry, yu can set the Visible -ptin ff. Select and icn fr the marking (mre icns can be fund by swiping left t right), tap save and the marking is saved n the mbile device. Nte that the marking will nt be autmatically exprted t the server. Yu can exprt the marking with the Back up t Server. Mre inf can be fund n chapter 9.6. The lcatin marker XY -icn will pen the crdinate search. Enter the crdinates Lat/N and Ln/E and tap Shw n map and the cursr f the applicatin will fcus n the given crdinate. On the map tls the rightmst icn (arrw circling itself) updates the map tiles f the current map view. Map tiles are saved in the mbile device as they are dwnladed frm the server. The prgram uses primarily the map tiles saved in the mbile device. 8.4 Drawing cllectin Yu can create yur wn drawing cllectins (map areas and markings) in the Ultracm My Pages -service. Yu can access My Pages via ur website. All majr markings are advisable t be made in the My Pages -service. Frm the My Pages -service yu can als share yur cllectin with ther users. Yu can find the available drawing cllectins by pening the main menu f the prgram and select Drawings. Swipe frm tp t bttm f the screen t refresh the view. Yur wn cllectins and the cllectins that are shared t yu will appear n the screen. If yu are an wner f a drawing cllectin yu can add an access t the cllectin directly frm the applicatin by swiping yur finger frm right t left and selecting Add access frm the drp-dwn menu. This ptin pens a view t user s mbile phne number, descriptin (a name, fr example) and the access level. There are three levels f access; Read, Edit and Administratin. By Read access yu can view the markings made in the applicatin. By Edit -access yu may edit the 15

16 cllectin in yur My pages. Administratin access gives yu a full access t the cllectin s that user can edit, add and delete ntes and user rights. 8.5 Applicatin settings Settings -menu can be fund in the applicatin main menu. T access the main menu, tap n the UC -icn in the tp crner f the screen. Tap the Settings -ptin t pen the applicatin settings. There are three setting tabs: Map, My Psitin and Display. Additinally, in the upper right crner f the screen yu will find the save ptin and the setup menu (AviusLINK reset). Map -sheet cntains a selectin f available map material. Tap n the Map Database Id ptin t access the map material yu want t use. Yu can add additinal infrmatin t the map these include yur wn drawings, highlights and hillshades. Tap n the include all available features t select the ptin yu want t use. Aerial maps -ptin lets yu chse whether map material is displayed as a satellite image if the satellite image is available in yur area. On My Psitin -tab yu will find the settings related t yur wn lcatin. In the My data tracking passwrd -field yu can specify the passwrd fr yur wn lcatin. If yu give yur friend yur phne number and the passwrd f this field, yur friend can add yur phne number as a trackable applicatin. The default setting is The Track size ptin allws yu t specify that hw many lcatin waypints f yur wn lcatin are shwn n the map. By increasing the value, a lnger perid f lcatin time will be shwn. The default setting is 50. Start GPS autmatically at applicatin start ptin enables the mbile devices internal GPS-receiver autmatically when the applicatin is started. In this case yur lcatin can be autmatically displayed when the prgram is starting. With the Keep my last psitin visible -ptin yu can can specify whether t display yur wn lcatin n the map when GPS receiver is switched ff. Yu can select an icn fr yur wn psitin by tapping n the My psitin icn. Swipe up and dwn t view all the icns. - On the Display tab yu can find the settings fr the infrmatin displayed n the map. Map rtatin allws yu t specify whether the map can be rtated with yur finger r whether the map is lcked in the nrth-suth directin Map cursr -icn selects the appearance f the cursr in the in the center f the map. Tap n the icn t change it. Silent mde silences all the sunds f the applicatin. - In the upper right crner f the screen yu can find an additinal menu (three dts), frm which yu can reset the AviusLink, if the Avius hst device has t be cnnected t anther mbile device (feature releases the Bluetth cnnectin). 16

17 8.6 Accunt inf Accunt inf -ptin is in the applicatin main menu. T access the main menu, tap n the UC -icn in the tp left crner f the screen. On the accunt inf view yu can find the mbile phne number n which the applicatin is lcked, yur license type, yur service subscriptins and yur My Pages passwrd. Swipe frm tp t bttm f the screen t update the view. On the tp right crner f the screen there is als an additinal menu (three dts) that yu can tap t pen ther functins: - Open My Pages ptin will pen yur persnal applicatin pages in the mbile device brwser. In My pages yu can manage the marketing permissins, manage yur cntact infrmatin, view yur device rutes, rder additinal services and subscriptins and manage yur drawing cllectins. - Register ptin pens the prgram registratin screen. If yur phne number changes, yu shuld mve the applicatin first with the Change phne number functin. - Order/Activate allws yu t rder a subscriptin r activate an Ultracm subscriptin cde. Fr mre infrmatin, see chapter With the Change phnenumber ptin yu can transfer yur accunt (subscriptin, markings, device lists etc.) t a new phne number. Enter a new phne number and select Start change. Yu can then register the prgram t the new phne number. 8.7 Order/activate -functin Yu can make a subscriptin directly in the prgram, frm yur retailer, r yu can buy a separate subscriptin activatin card. Order/activate -functin can be fund n the applicatin main menu. Open the main menu by tapping n the UC -icn n the upper left crner f the map view. Frm the main menu select Order/ Activate. Frm the Order Methd -drpdwn menu select the rder methd: - Use Activatin cde: yu can enter an activatin cde frm a subscriptin card and activate the card t receive t subscriptin indicated n the card. - App Stre prduct: chse the prduct yu wish frm the drpdwn menu. After selecting the prduct tap Cnfirm Order and the applicatin will take yu Apple stre t pay fr the purchase. 8.8 Abut applicatin Abut the applicatin is fund in the main menu f the applicatin. T access the main menu, tap n the UC -icn n the upper left crner f the map view. In abut the applicatin -view yu can find the applicatin versin number, infrmatin n the map licenses and link t ur privacy plicy. 9. Other functins 9.1 Reset AviusLINK (hst device Bluetth release) Avius-hst device may be cnnected t ne mbile device at time. If yu want t recnnect it t anther mbile device, yu will need t reset the AviusLINK. This is dne by pening the main menu and selecting settings. In settings menu, pen the additinal menu n the tp 17

18 right crner (three dts) and select Reset AviusLINK. Tap OK and the Avius hst device is resetted and it can be cnnected t anther mbile device. 9.2 Ultracm R10 factry reset It is pssible t reset the Ultracm R10 t the factry settings s that the device admin and ther settings are remved frm the device memry. Yu can als remve all f the rute data that the device has sent t the server. Select yur Ultracm R10 device and pen Inf & settings -menu. In the upper right crner f the screen pen the additinal menu (three dts) and select Factry reset. Applicatin asks if yu want t reset the device settings and if yu want t als remve the saved rutes frm the server. Select the desired functin and tap k. Please nte that rutes will be permanently remved, and they cannt be restred. Once the device is resetted t the factry settings, the device will rebt t first-time-use mde t wait fr an admin t add it t the applicatin. 9.3 Transferring the Ultracm applicatin t anther mbile device Ultracm sftware is always registered t the mbile phne number where the registratin request is made. Hwever, yu can mve the applicatin t a new mbile phne number as fllws: - In the applicatin: pen the main menu and select Accunt inf. In the upper right crner, pen the additinal menu and select Change phnenumber. Enter yur new phne number (where the applicatin shuld be transferred) in the field Yur new phnenumber and select Start Change. After this yu can change the SIM-card and register the applicatin t a new number. Applicatin registratin can be fund in the additinal menu f Accunt inf. - My Pages -service: Sign in t My Pages and select My accunt. Next t the telephne number field is Change phnenumber selectin. Tap n the selectin and enter the new phne number t which the applicatin is mved. After this yu can change the SIM-card and register the applicatin t a new number. Applicatin registratin can be fund in the additinal menu f Accunt inf. - Technical supprt: phne number change can be made in Ultracm technical supprt. After the change have been made the applicatin has t be registered. Applicatin registratin can be fund in the additinal menu f Accunt inf. - Retailer: Ultracm retailers can guide yu in the transfer f applicatin as well as in ther pssible prblems. 9.4 Changing the admin fr Ultracm Nvus and Dg-GPS If yu wish t change yur Ultracm Nvus r Dg GPS admin d the fllwing: 1. Remve the SIM card frm the device. 2. Insert the card int yur mbile device and turn n the mbile device. 3. Navigate t the cntact list in the mbile phne menu and remve DOGPS -cntact frm the SIM card. 4. Remve SIM -card frm the mbile device and put it back in t the tracking device. 5. Insert the charged batteries int the tracking device. 6. Open the devices menu and remve the device frm the list (swipe the screen frm right t left n the device and select Delete ) 18

19 7. Add the device t the applicatin again. When the applicatin asks yu t cnfigure the access pint (APN), select the peratr frm the drpdwn menu and send t the tracking device bth setting messages (applicatin creates the messages autmatically) 8. Return t the map view and when the device appears n the map view, yu are the admin f the device. 9.5 Device list filtering (favrites, active devices etc.) Tap pen the main menu, tap n the UC -icn n the upper left crner f the map view. Select Devices frm the main menu. In the menu are listed all the devices added in yur applicatin. Frm the drpdwn menu n the tp f the screen yu can filter the device view with fllwing ptins: - All shws all devices and applicatins n the list. - Favrites shw nly the devices and applicatins added as favrites. Yu can mark a device as a favrite by putting the Favrite tab n, when the device r applicatin is added. - Favrites + Active shw the devices and applicatins marked as favrites and that are currently n and active. - Recently used shw the last used devices and applicatins. - My Devices shw nly the devices where yu are the admin user. 9.6 Backing up and restring device and markings list Tap pen the applicatin main menu in the upper left crner f the map screen. Frm the main menu select Devices. In the view yu see listed all devices yu have added in yur applicatin. In the upper right crner f the screen there is an additinal menu (three dts). Tapping n the selectin will pen the backup and restring functins: Back up t server: Tap pen the windw t back up devices and map markings t the server. Yu can chse ne r bth f the ptins. Tap Back up t server t exprt the data t the server. The applicatin will tell yu in an inf windw hw many devices and markings were saved n the server. At the same time, the prgram will give yu an ID number that allws the device list t be retrieved later. Yu can als share the ID s that yur friends can restre the same list yu have backed up. Restre frm server: Tapping this ptin will pen a windw where yu can restre the saved devices t the Device list. If yu leave the ID field blank, the applicatin will bring yu the latest saved device list, if there is ne availabe. Yu can als enter the last used device list ID number r fr example yur friend s device list number and the applicatin will dwnlad the the devices n that number t yur devices list. 9.7 Editing and deleting devices frm the device list Tap pen the applicatin main menu n the upper left crner f the screen. Selet Devices frm the main menu. The view lists all f the devices yu have added t the applicatin. Yu can remve r edit devices by swiping the screen frm right t left n the name f the device. Select Edit t edit the device r Delete t remve the device. 19

20 9.8 Adding a dem device T pen the applicatin main menu, tap the UC -icn n the tp left crner f the screen. In the upper right crner f the screen there is an additinal menu (three dts). Tap the Add dem selectin. This feature will add a dem device in the applicatin, s yu can try hw the tracking n the applicatin wrks. Just tap Save ptin at the tp f the screen t bring dem in the Devices -menu. Dem device can nly be tracked, and its settings cannt be changed. 20
