1 E-Jbsheet Tablet Applicatin Functinality The e-jbsheet applicatin has been created fr Truck Service Prviders (TSP) in rder fr their admin staff and fitters t handle all types f wrk via a mbile platfrm s that they can allcate breakdwn, service and supply wrk. The applicatin replaces the traditinal paper Jb Sheet and the aim is t speed up time taken t prcess, and visibility f wrk data in a real time scenari. The platfrm is multi language and is t be a wrld wide standard. The tablet slutin will prvide the TSP with a means f capturing the infrmatin n a tablet which can then feed back the captured data int bth the TSP s system and that f the Cntract Hlder (which culd be the same TSP, r culd indeed be A N Other SP r Manufacturer/ Third Party) autcmpleting the specified, pre defined (by cntract hlder) fields. It will als prvide the fitter with infrmatin n the tablet such as plicies and any necessary mems, in a centralised library which remves the need t reference multiple dcuments. The Tidaex platfrm stres a custmer s infrmatin, which includes administratr, fitter and lcatin manager details, lcatins (f the TSP depts), fleet infrmatin (cnfiguratin and registratin/ fleet numbers f tractr units and trailers), transactin infrmatin, and e-day bk (a t d list) and e-launchpad fr jbs details t be sent ut t the fitters in rder fr them t have the detail f the wrk required sent t their tablets. e-jbsheet Page 1

A user will be able t lgin t the applicatin with their unique credentials 2. A user must be able t receive a new jb sent t him via e-launchpad in t his jbs t d 3. A user must be able t create a new (self generated) jb using find a vehicle this can be an existing vehicle r ne that he can add himself if apprved fr wrk 4. A user must be able t generate a supply nly jb in rder t deliver a tyre/tyres 5. A user must be able t view all jbs which are utstanding cmpletin r have nt been sent/synchrnised 6. A user must be able t synchrnise jbs n the Tablet by sending cmpleted jbs which have nt yet been cmpleted 7. The Tablet must have netwrk cverage/internet cnnectin in rder t synchrnise jbs 8. A user must be able t reject jbs and send them back in t Tidaex fr reassignment Tablet Icns and the functinality therein; Initiating a jb frm the tablet (fr example service wrk in a yard, a fitter may have a cuple f specific jbs t d but may find additinal wrk whilst he is there) Click n Find Vehicle icn n the hme page Type in the reg details (there are a number f pre set numbers that are pulled dwn frm the reg/ fleet list within Tidaex e-jbsheet Page 2

3 Chse the vehicle The fitter is then presented with the vehicle cnfiguratin n the main screen and a list f ptin icns dwn the left hand side. The fitter can use the existing cnfiguratin r amend it if the cab/ trailer is different t the schema presented. They can d this by clicking the mdify schema buttn Click n new jb fr a breakdwn, either wrk t be dne r tyre t be replaced Click n the wheel psitin that yu wish t wrk n Click n supply/fit tire t supply a tyre r wrk t cmplete a puncture repair r ther, click inspectin if yu are just inspecting the tyre, capturing tread depth and pressure Find the tyre (start typing the size, 295 and a list f tyres will be presented, this will be linked t ur Online Tyre catalgue in real time ging frward but at the mment it is just a selectin f tyres based n size this is the new tyre ging n) Add serial n (nte, this is a mandatry field) Capture all tread depths - if yu d nt capture all yu will receive a message denting such when yu try and save at the bttm f the page. Barcde is there fr the future but is nt necessary at the mment. Click n a 30 min retrque Yu can then add a valve/ ext/ bracket etc by tuching the relevant buttn Additinal details can be used t capture any ther infrmatin abut the tyre r the psitin (fr example if yu were ding a puncture but nticed there was slight e-jbsheet Page 3

4 sidewall damage yu might want t recmmend that the tyre be replaced asap and then the administratr can schedule that wrk fr a date in the near future) Click n wheels remved (If yu replace a tyre yu always remve the wheel that means that capturing trque infrmatin is mandatry. Please nte thugh it is pssible t perfrm a trque n wheel nuts withut remving the wheel i.e. when servicing a vehicle, s the facility t capture trque details is still necessary despite nt remving wheels in certain scenaris) Add a 5 digit n t the trque tag n and anther number in t the trque wrench n (r text if nt applicable) Then save change The page will then change t Tyres Remved Fill in the details fr the remved tyre Capture tread ff Make sure yu chse a remval cde Chse a casing destinatin Then save changes The psitin will then present a green tick n the schema page Then g t the signature buttn n left hand side Cmplete all the inf presented and send When remving a tyre yu always need the tyre detail, tread remaining, a reasn fr remval and a casing destinatin. An example vide is belw; starting jb frm the app.mp4 Once a jb has been cmpleted and befre sending, the fitter must cmplete the detail in the Signatures sectin, detailed n the left hand side f the jb page. If these are nt cmpleted the fitter will receive a ntificatin if he presses the cmplete/ send icn. There is als an icn fr summary this is s that the persn (custmer) signing the jb can quickly review what has been dne by the fitter in rder t give authrity by way f signatry. The summary details all aspects f the jb undertaken. On the signature page the lcatin can be entered and the detail f the custmer and his signature captured. The jb must be signed in rder t send. If the wheel s have been remved there is a trque warning presented at this time, which by signing the driver is acknwledging. The fitter detail is aut ppulated accrding t lg in. e-jbsheet Page 4

5 NOTE mandatry fields will, ging frward, be dictated by the custmer s plicy infrmatin which will be sent thrugh frm Tidaex, at present this functinality is nt cmplete s we have nly hard cded the mst imprtant nes. Jbs t D This part f the applicatin details all jbs sent frm elaunchpad within Tidaex t the named fitter fr wrk t be cmpleted. The fitter will be alerted t the new jb by way f a numerical ntificatin in the tp left hand crner f the icn n the hme page. The summary shws what vehicle t be wrked upn, which psitin t be wrked upn, what type f jb is t be dne and the wrk required (i.e. replace a tyre/ d wrk n the tyre) The user has the ability t see all details f the wrk and als any additinal details abut that jb, i.e. whether ID is required, any safety rules t adhere t and any ther specific plicy infrmatin. The user can then accept the jb r reject the jb if they are unable t cmplete the wrk due t incrrect stck r time cnstraints i.e. they cannt meet the required service level as detailed in the plicy. If a jb is rejected by the fitter it is autmatically returned t the edaybk whereby the admin can re assign the jb t anther fitter. Nte the rejected jbs (s) will be dented by a ntificatin within Tidaex as belw; e-jbsheet Page 5

6 If a user accepts the jb they can then press start t start the jb. The psitin t be wrked upn will be highlighted with an! All f the infrmatin sent frm Tidaex will be pre ppulated and the user can then add t r amend as necessary. This vide shws an example; sent jb.mp4 Vehicle Inspectins When cmpleting service wrk it is ften dictated in the plicy that all wheel psitins are t be inspected when carrying ut wrk n a cab r a trailer. Fr all wheel psitins nt wrked upn a value in terms f tyre, tread and pressure must be returned. It is smetimes pssible that the vehicle will nly be inspected and n wrk will be carried ut, but ften wheel nuts are trqued as mentined abve, and tyres can be swapped arund, sme remved fr regrving etc. If a vehicle is simply inspected then the fitter wuld chse a vehicle frm the find vehicle icn, then chse inspect vehicle frm the menu bar n the left hand side. If there is wrk t be dne n certain psitins the fitter can mve between wrk and inspectin, but all details will be represented n the same jbsheet when the wrk is cmplete. The applicatin has been built fr the Translgik Bluetth prbe t be used in cnjunctin, nce the devices are paired the prbe will transmit accurate tread depth and pressure directly in t the applicatin. Yu can pair the device thrugh the settings icn n the e-jbsheet hme page. Mileage Fr all jbs the ptin t capture mileage is available, at present this is nt lcked dwn by vehicle r fleet but will be ging frward in accrdance with cntract hlder plicy. Smetime access t Cab is nt pssible s free text n access t cab will be acceptable, but we wuld acknwledge a cntract rule break there as required. Jbs n Hld We have incrprated the ability t place jbs n hld fr a number f reasns. The idea being that a fitter can stp wrk at any pint and then resume as required. The mst cmmn use fr this is when ding service wrk, the fitter might d wrk n 8 vehicles but rather than having t get each ne signed by a freman each time, he can stre the jbs and have them all signed at nce. Obviusly this is nt advcated as best wrking practice but is smetimes the mst practical! e-jbsheet Page 6

With the supply nly functin they can deliver ne r many tyres and they have the ptin t d s n an individual basis, capturing all unique identifiers (serial numbers) and als sending bulk rders, depending n cntractual bligatin. Click n supply nly frm the hme screen Page is presented Chse the Fleet (these will ppulate when yu start t type, as per the vehicle) Add ne tyre and fill in all the detail, that is fr individual tyres s yu can accunt fr serial n s etc. (at the mment this is dne ne by ne, I wuld like t intrduce a cpy line buttn but this is yet t be scheduled) Then there is the bulk tyre ptin whereby yu can deliver a quantity, just chse the tyre size Then add the lcatin fr delivery, IE Glucester Rad, Cheltenham Add the custmer name and fitter details Sign and send This will then utput a slightly different template Utilising Phtgraphs It is pssible t take a picture against each wheel psitin; there is a Take Phtgraph icn n the ptins bar n the left hand side f the screen nce yu are in a jb. As sn as yu take a pht (using the camera n the tablet which will activate n pressing the afrementined icn) there is a secnd pht icn that appears, yu can then see the pht and link t a psitin. Settings The settings part f the applicatin allws a fitter t chse the language that they wish t wrk in. This is fr the fitter nly; all jb card language settings are set within Tidaex. S, a user may chse t use his tablet applicatin in French, but if the jb card template is set t English within Tidaex, e-jbsheet Page 7

8 then the jb card will be prduced in English. Obviusly any free type will be returned in the language the fitter has used.
