1 Mbile LightSync Link App Prgraming Guide Revisin 2 Overview: The Mbile LightSync Link App emulates LightSync input devices used t cntrl ILC relays and dimmer utputs frm an Andrid r Apple mbile device. The Mbile LS Link App supprts multiple user cnfigured screens, t which cntrl buttns and slide dimmers can be added. The App uses a Wifi cnnectin t the LS SIICM TCP/IP mdule and is prgrammed in the ILC panel as LightSync input devices. Installatin: Dwnlad the ILC Mbile LightSync Link App frm Ggle Play stre r the Apple App stre. Install the ILC Mbile LightSync Link App n yur Andrid r ios device. Cnsult with yur IT system cntrller t crdinate any LS-SIICM TCP/IP settings and wireless Wifi ruter r access pint settings. Yu will als need t cnsult with yur ILC system prgrammer fr LightSync address settings designated fr the LS-SIICM t be used by the Mbile LS Link App (ID0624). Cnfiguratin: After launching the App, enter the IP address assigned t the LS SIICM TCP/IP mdule and the Prt setting f 502. Yu als have an ptin fr selecting an alert t be given fr each buttn actin. If selected, a dialg bx will appear when a buttn actin is used, alerting the user t select YES r t CANCEL the actin. In the upper right-hand crner f the navigatin screen, press Add t create a new cntrl screen. Enter the App passwrd, and then press OK t prceed. Nte: Cnsult ILC fr the Passwrd settings. 1

2 Enter the screen name which will be displayed at tp center f the cntrl screen. The Edit screen is nw shwn with the fur edit ptin buttns n the left. Slide Dimmer - dimmer cntrl Icn, emulates a LightSync Pht sensr Tuch Buttn cntrl buttn Icns, emulates a LightSync input buttn Dimmer Status % dimmer status display, directly reads a dimmer utput Status Indicatr - LightSync status Icn, indicates a LightSync input status Each f the 4 Icn types will fllw the same prgramming prcedure. Enter the cmpnent name if desired and select the ID # Name and ID ID # Selectin 2 Buttn Selectin

3 Refer t the Mbile LightSync Link App ID pint mapping chart (See Page 5) t select the ID pints based n the LightSync LS SCIIM mdule settings (see PD0622 & ID0624). Nte: Status Indicatr and Dimmer Status icns d nt display the name infrmatin and is used fr reference nly. The Icn will appear n the screen at the left, press and hld the icn until it highlights, And mve it t the desired lcatin. Press Save t exit the screen editing peratin. T return t the main navigatin screen press Dne, press Edit t make additinal changes t the cntrl screen. On the main screen, a navigatin buttn will be shwn fr each cntrl screen yu have cnfigured, press the Icn t enter the cntrl screen. Select Add t create a new cntrl screen, r the Settings Icn t enter the App settings ptins. 3

4 Deleting a Screen: Hld the Navigatin buttn fr the screen t be deleted t get the delete alert prmpt. Press Yes t delete the screen Deleting r Editing an Icn: Enter the screen and select Edit, then tap the Icn t be remved r edited. Select Yes t delete the icn, r select Edit t make changes. Nte: This will nt Delete the Screen, nly the selected Icn n the screen On the Mbile LightSync Link App ID pint mapping chart yu will find the ID s listed fr all 4 Icn types. Each ID pint is in sequential rder starting at the first LS device address fr the LSSIICM. This is based n the first address r base address. Refer t PD0622 and ID0624 fr mre details. Nte: The slide dimmers will ccupy a phtsensr type LS PC device in the LightSync netwrk. Each LightSync address can nly be used nce in a netwrk. If the 5 th LS device (ID 40005) is used as a LS PC fr a slide dimmer, then ID 1057 t 1064 (5 th LS device) cannt be used fr a Buttn Icn, prceed t the next available LightSync address and related cmpnent ID. 4
