3 Safety precautins The electrnic intruder alarm system shuld nly be installed and maintained by qualified persnnel. 4 Descriptin CG17 is a multifunctinal security cntrl panel with an integrated celullar cmmunicatr. With the CG17 yu can: Install a simple security system that can be mnitred and cntrlled remtely. Cntrl varius equipment remtely (e.g. heating and ventilatin systems, autmatic gates) and mnitr temperature. Ntify users abut events. Send event ntificatins t the receiver f a security cmpany. Features Events t the security cmpany Reprts events t TRIKDIS sftware r hardware receivers which are capable f wrking with any mnitring sftware. Can reprt events t SIA DC-09 receivers. In case cnnectin t primary channel is lst, can send events t backup receiver. Can reprt events t the central mnitring statin using SMS messages. Extremely useful because it wrks even when IP cnnectivity is disrupted in the mbile peratr s netwrk. Cellular netwrk jamming recgnitin. Schematics and installatin prcess Munting 1. Befre beginning, make sure that the GSM signal level is sufficient in the place where the CG17 will be munted. 2. Remve the tp lid, remve the plug parts f bth terminal blcks. 3. Remve the PCB. 4. Fasten the base f the casing in the desired place using screws. 5. Reinsert the PCB and terminal blcks. 6. Screw the GSM antenna in. 7. Insert a nan-sim card. The SIM card must already be activated in the GSM netwrk and all required services must be enabled, i.e., the card must be able t call, send and receive SMS messages, use mbile internet. Ask yur SIM card s mbile netwrk peratr hw t enable the required services. Nte: Make sure that the SIM card is activated. 7 Octber, 2018

8 Make sure that the mbile internet service is turned n if cnnectin via the IP channel will be used. If yu d nt want t enter the PIN cde in TrikdisCnfig, insert the SIM card int a mbile phne and disable PIN cde requests. 8. If yu want t be able cnfigure the CG17 remtely, insert a SIM card with disabled PIN cde requests. Send an SMS message: CONNECT PROTEGUS=ON,APN=INTERNET 9. Remte cnfiguratin is described in chapter 4.5 Setting parameters remtely. 10. Clse the tp lid. Schematics fr cnnecting io series extensin mdules Nte: If the wire cnnecting the temperature sensr is lnger than 0,5 m, it is recmmended t use a twisted pair cable (UTP4x2x0,5 r STP4x2x0,5). T ne CG17 yu can cnnect: Up t fur io-mod mdules. Up t eight io r / and io-wl mdules. ibuttn key readers and temperature sensrs shuld be cnnected t the 1-Wire terminal. 8 Octber, 2018

9 Schematics fr cnnecting inputs The CG17 has fur inputs IN fr cnnecting varius alarm system sensrs. Pssible ways t cnnect a sensr: NO nrmally pen cntact; NC- nrmally clsed cntact; EOL nrmally clsed circuit with a 10kΩ end f line resistr. Pssible cnnectin schematics: Schematics fr cnnecting a smke detectr Assign a PGM utput the functin Fire sensr reset (see TrikdisCnfig windw PGM > Outputs tab) s that the smke detectr can be restarted after an alarm. Cnnecting a fur-wire smke detectr Cnnecting a tw-wire smke detectr a) using an EOL zne (r NC, n resistr). b) using an EOL zne (r NO, n resistr). *SM1 a cmpatibility mdule made by Trikdis that allws t remtely restart a tw-wire smke detectr after a triggered alarm. 9 Octber, 2018

10 Schematics fr cnnecting a temperature sensr Cellular security cntrl panel CG17 Temperature sensrs shuld be cnnected accrding t the given schematic. Maxim /Dallas DS18S20, DS18B20 temperature sensrs (up t 8 units) can be cnnected t the CG17. Wire clrs: RED Vdd, cnnect it t the +5 V terminal; YELLOW DQ, cnnect it t the 1-Wire terminal; BLACK GND, cnnect it t the COM terminal. If the wire cnnecting the temperature sensr is lnger than 0,5 m, we recmmend using a twisted pair cable (UTP4x2x0,5 r STP4x2x0,5). Schematics fr cnnecting a relay and a LED Schematics fr cnnecting cntact key readers The TM17 reader shuld be cnnected t the CG17 using an RS485 data bus. The wire length f an RS485 data bus can be up t 300 m. The ibuttn key reader shuld be cnnected t the CG17 using the 1 Wire prt. 11 Schematic fr cnnecting a wireless sensr RF-SH transceiver The wireless sensr RF-SH transceiver is meant fr wrking with Crw brand wireless devices (mvement sensrs, magnetic cntacts, siren, remte cntrllers etc.). Schematics fr cnnecting a siren A siren that draws up t 1 A f current can be cnnected t the utput 5 OUT r utput 6 OUT. A siren that draws up t 100 ma f current can be cnnected t any utput OUT. The utput OUT must be assigned the functin Siren and must have a security system area set. Schematics fr cnnecting f the fuel level sensr Strela RS485 Schematics fr cnnecting a battery A 12 V battery can be cnnected t the CG17. If AC pwer is lst, an event message AC fault will be sent and the CG17 will autmatically switch t the 12 V battery. When the battery s vltage drps t 11,5 V, an event message Battery lw will be sent. When the battery s vltage drps bellw 9,5 V, if there is n AC pwer, the CG17 will turn ff. When AC pwer is restred an event message AC restre will be sent and the battery charging prcess will start autmatically. When the battery s vltage rises t 12,6 V, an event message Battery restre will be sent. Cnnecting the battery: Insert the backup battery int the casing. Cnnect the battery s wires t the CG17 s backup pwer surce cntacts BAT+ / BAT. Check t make sure the CG17 s charging current is sufficient t charge the battery Octber, 2018

12 Setting parameters using TrikdisCnfig sftware Cellular security cntrl panel CG17 1. Dwnlad the cnfiguratin sftware TrikdisCnfig frm (enter TrikdisCnfig in the search field) and install it. 2. Remve the lid f the CG17 using a flat-head screwdriver as shwn belw: 3. Cnnect the CG17 t a cmputer using a USB Mini-B cable. 4. Launch the cnfiguratin prgram TrikdisCnfig. The prgram will autmatically recgnize the cnnected device and will autmatically pen the CG17 cnfiguratin windw. 5. Click the Read [F4] buttn t see the current parameters f the CG17. If prmpted, enter the administratr r installer cde in the pp-up windw. Descriptin f TrikdisCnfig status bar Once the CG17 is cnnected t the TrikdisCnfig sftware, the prgram will display infrmatin abut the cnnected device in the status bar: Status bar Name IMEI/Unique ID Status Device SN BL FW HW State Rle Descriptin The device s IMEI number Operatinal state Device type (must shw CG17) Device s serial number Btlader versin Device s firmware versin Device s hardware versin Type f cnnectin with the prgram (USB r remte) Access level (shwn after access cde is apprved) Nte: Click Read [F4] t make the prgram read and display the settings that are currently saved n the device. Click Write [F5] t save the settings displayed n the screen t the device. Click Save [F9] t save the settings t a cnfiguratin file. Yu can uplad the saved settings t ther devices later. This allws t quickly cnfigure multiple devices with the same settings. Click Open [F8] and chse a cnfiguratin file t view previusly saved settings. If yu want t revert t the default settings, click the Restre buttn at the lwer left f the screen. When the Read [F4] buttn is clicked, the prgram will read and shw settings currently saved n the CG17. With TrikdisCnfig, set the required parameters using the fllwing prgram windw descriptins Octber, 2018

13 System Optins windw System general tab Settings grup General If events are ging t be sent t the CMS, enter the Object ID (4-symbl hexadecimal number, 0-9, A-F) given by the CMS. Object name will be used in SMS messages abut events (up t 20 symbls, letters and numbers can be used). Test perid when the bx is ticked, peridic Test messages will be sent every set perid. Time synchrnizatin chse a server t synchrnize time with. If yu chse IP server, time will be synchrnized with the IP receiver s time, if yu chse GSM mdem, time will be synchrnized with the GSM service prvider s server time. Clear Events after reset all unsent event messages will be deleted after reset. SMS language set the preferred language and the specific symbls f that language will be used in SMS messages. Yu can Suspend event reprting when... a number f same events per... s happen. Restre event reprting after... set the time after which suspending f event reprting will be cancelled. The time can be anywhere frm 0 t 999 minutes. Call after an event, the CG17 will call user(s) as many times as is specified. If the call is declined r answered, the CG17 will stp calling. Call time is 20 secnds. Settings grup SIM Enter SIM card PIN cde. APN service prvider s mbile internet access pint name. Yu must enter the APN if event messages will have t be sent t Prtegus clud service r t the CMS via GPRS. If the SIM card s GPRS service prvider requires, enter the APN user name and passwrd in the fieds Lgin and Passwrd. Settings grup Area Settings Area(-s) number sets the number f independent parts f the alarm system. If the siren is cnnected and an utput OUT (must be allcated t an area) is set as Siren : Siren duratin duratin f siren peratin when the alarm is triggered. Time is anywhere frm 0 t 999 secnds. When the alarm is armed using the Prtegus app r phne call, the system will nt cunt the Exit time. Keyswitch sets the alarm s arm/disarm mde using the Keyswitch zne. Yu can chse cntrl using Pulse r Level. Access tab Settings grup Access cdes Administratr Cde (default cde ) gives full access t cnfiguratin (the cde must be 6 symbls lng; it must cnsist f latin letters and/r numbers). SMS passwrd (default cde ) is fr safety when cntrlling with SMS messages. T ensure mre safety, change it t a 6-symbl cde nly yu knw. Installer Cde (default cde ) gives the installer access t cnfiguratin. T ensure safety, change it t a 6- symbl cde nly yu knw. Nte: If the default administratr cde is set (123456), the sftware will nt require it t be entered and clicking Read [F4] will immediately shw the parameters currently saved n the device. 15 Reprting t CMS windw Settings grups Primary channel and Backup channel Cmmunicatin type chse a prtcl fr cmmunicatin with the receiver (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, SMS). Settings grup Settings Return t primary after time perid after which the CG17 will attempt t regain cnnectin with the primary channel, in minutes. IP Ping perid perid fr sending PING signals fr checking cnnectivity n the GPRS channel, in secnds. T enable these signals, tick the bx. SMS PING perid perid fr sending PING signals fr checking cnnectivity n the SMS channel, in minutes. T enable these signals, tick the bx. Backup reprting after enter hw many failed attempts t send messages using the primary channel shuld happen befre switching t the backup channel. DNS1 DNS2 DNS server addresses. Object ID in SIA DC-09 specify bject number. SIA DC-09 receiver N. specify receiver number. SIA DC-09 line N. specify line number. Settings grup Backup channel 2 Phne number phne number f an CMS receiver capable f receiving SMS messages (e.g.: 370xxxxxxxx). The backup SMS channel is used when messages fail t send using the primary and backup channels. This functin is extremely useful because it wrks even when IP cnnectivity is disrupted in the mbile peratr s netwrk. This channel nly wrks when GPRS mde is set bth fr the primary and backup channels. SMS messages will be sent t the receiving center: 1) as sn as the CG17 is turned n fr the first time; and 2) after lss f TCP/IP r UDP/IP cnnectivity n the primary and backup channels Octber, 2018

16 Users tab Users & Reprting windw Settings grup Users & Reprting t User ID user s number n the list. Name / user s name r . These names will be used in SMS messages abut events. An administratr can specify a user's . This will allw the user t lg in t Prtegus Tel number user s phne number. This number can cntrl the alarm remtely and will receive SMS messages. The numbers must be entered with the internatinal cde. Cde the cde fr arming and disarming the alarm given fr each user. Areas areas the user can cntrl. User ID9 can cntrl nly area 1, parameter is uneditable. A tick the bx if yu want t allw the user t ARM the alarm. D tick the bx if yu want t allw the user t DISARM the alarm. If PGM and REC bxes are nt ticked, but bth A and D are selected, when the user calls the CG17, their call will be declined, and the alarm will change its peratinal status t the ppsite state, i.e., the alarm will be armed r disarmed. If nly PGM is ticked, the user can call the CG17 and turn n r turn ff a desired utput using DTMF tne cmmands. If nly REC is ticked, the user can call the CG17 and change the vice recrding fr events using DTMF tne cmmands. ACK if the bx is ticked, the CG17 will send the user messages with SMS answer text after every cmmand received in SMS messages. FWD tick this bx if yu want t frward SMS messages received frm nn-system users (e.g., SIM card accunt balance, randm prmtinal messages, etc.) t the user. Settings grup PROTEGUS Clud Enable cnnectin enables Prtegus service, s that the CG17 can exchange data with the Prtegus app. Als allws remte cnfiguratin with TrikdisCnfig. 17 Settings grup ibuttns Nte: Mre than ne key can be assigned t a user! All newly registered keys will be assigned t the User ID9 (N name). Names can be assigned nly t eight users. Permissins fr User ID 9 can be set using the settings grup User ID9 permissins. ID key s number n the list. User the user the key is assigned t. T assign a key t a user, change ID9 t any ther user s ID frm the table Users & Reprting t User. (e.g. t assign a key t user N. 3, change ID9 t ID3) ibuttn cde ibuttn key identificatin number. Cntrl chse what actin the system must take after reading the key (e.g., TM17): Nne / Arm / Disarm / Arm & Disarm Registratin f cntact (ibuttn) keys 1. If the ibuttns list is empty, the first registered key is saved t the first line f the list and becmes the Master key. 2. T turn n cntact key registratin mde, hld the Master key against the key reader fr at least 10 secnds. When registratin mde is n, the TM17 key reader s LED indicatr State will start t blink in green. 3. T register user keys, hld them against the key reader ne by ne. 3 sund signals frm the reader will indicate that the key has been registered. 4. When yu finish registering the user cntact (ibuttn) keys, hld the Master key against the key reader again t turn ff registratin mde. When the registratin mde is turned ff, the State LED indicatr f the TM17 key reader will stp blinking. 5. T delete all keys (including the master key), hld the Master key against the reader fr at least 20 secnds. Imprtant: The Master key shuld nly be used t register ther cntact keys! 18 Mdules windw Settings grup RS485 mdules ID mdule s number n the list. Mdule chse the mdules being used (mdules io, io-wl, TM17, io-8, RF-SH, FLS) frm a list f mdules. Serial N. mandatry 6-digit number that can be fund n stickers n the casing f the mdule and n the packaging. Area assign the mdule t an area (the TM17 will shw the state f the area it is assigned t and als the state f the znes assigned t the area). Name yu can give a name t the mdule. Firmware versin the firmware versin will be shwn nce the CG17 detects the cnnected mdule. Settings grup Internal mdules Mdule type chse the GPS mdule that is being used. Crdinates reprting every min, when n mvement r every sec, when mvement r selected zne in alarm specify intervals fr sending crdinates when in rdinary mde and when mvement is detected r the alarm is triggered in the zne. The fuel level sensr is cnnected t the cmputer using an adapter and then calibrated. Once the fuel level sensr Strela RS485 is cnnected t the CG17, ther RS485 mdules (io, io-wl, TM17, io-8, RH-SH) will becme inactive. Settings grup RS485 mdules Mdule select the mdule FLS fuel sensr. Click Write [F5]. Wait until the data is saved. Remve the USB cable frm the CG17. Wait fr abut 1 minute. Cnnect the USB cable t the CG17. Click Read [F4]. The prgram will read and shw the settings currently saved n the CG17. The Serial N. and Firmware versin f the fuel level sensr Strela S485 will appear in the prgram windw Mdules. Open the Sensrs windw. Mdule type chse Fuel level sensr. Sensr name name the sensr. Max enter the maximum amunt f fuel (in liters). Every time the fuel level sensr is turned n, it measures the current fuel level and cmpares it t the fuel level that was saved t memry befre the sensr was turned ff. If the current fuel level is lwer, the CG17 sends messages abut fuel lss t the security cmpany and/r t users. During peratin, the fuel level sensr measures the fuel level every time interval and cmpares it t the cnsumptin rate. When an event happens and the user answers a call frm the CG17, the event vice message will be played. Default event vice messages in English are set. The default vice message recrdings can be changed: 1. Call the CG Using the keybard, dial [3][#][event message numeric cde][#]. 3. Speak. The event message recrding can be up t 3 secnds lng. 4. Yu can listen t the recrding by dialling [4]. 5. T save the vice recrding t the CG17 s memry, dial [5]. Nte: GPRS cnnectivity channels (main and backup IP cnnectivity channels, Prtegus) must be turned ff while making the vice recrdings. Turning n the service is described in chapter 33.4 Users & Reprting windw (settings grup PROTEGUS clud ); 2. An activated SIM card is inserted and the PIN cde is entered r disabled; 3. The pwer is n ( POWER LED is green slid); 4. Is cnnected t the netwrk ( NETWORK LED is green slid and blinks yellw). 1. Dwnlad the sftware TrikdisCnfig frm 2. Make sure that the cntrller is cnnected t the Internet and that cnnectin with Prtegus is enabled. 3. Launch the cnfiguratin sftware TrikdisCnfig and in the Unique ID field f the Remte Access grup enter the IMEI number f yur CG17 (the IMEI number can be fund n stickers n the back f the device and n the packaging). 4. In the field System Name give a name t the CG17 with this IMEI. Click Cnfigure. 5. Click the buttn Read [F4] and the prgram will read the parameter values currently set n the CG17. If a windw fr entering the Administratr cde appears, enter the 6-symbl administratr cde. If yu want the prgram t remember the cde, tick the bx next t Remember passwrd and click the buttn Write [F5]. 6. Make the desired changes t the settings f the CG17 and click Write [F5]. If yu want t discnnect frm the CG17 click Discnnect and exit the TrikdisCnfig prgram. Testing f the installatin When cnfiguratin and installatin are finished, test the system: 1. Check if the pwer is n; 2. Check the netwrk cnnectivity (NETWORK indicatr): sufficient GSM signal strength is level 5 (green slid fr 4 secnds and five yellw flashes). Sufficient 3G signal strength is level 3 (green slid fr 4 secnds ant three yellw flashes). If the red TROUBLE light blinks 5 times, find anther place t munt the CG17; 3. T test the CG17 s inputs, enable them and check if the crrect messages reach the recipients; 4. T test the CG17 s utputs, activate them remtely and check if the crrect messages reach the recipients and the utputs are activated crrectly; 5. Test the alarm t make sure that the alarm receiving center accepts the events crrectly. Updating firmware f the CG17 Nte: When the CG17 is cnnected t TrikdisCnfig, the prgram will autmatically ffer t update the firmware if updates are available. Internet cnnectin is required fr this functin. The CG17 s firmware can be updated r changed manually. All prir CG17 settings remain after the update. When the firmware is changed manually, it can be upgraded r dwngraded. Cmplete these steps: 35 Octber, 2018

If a newer versin f firmware is available, the prgram will ffer t install it. 3. Open the Firmware windw. 4. Click the buttn Open firmware and chse the required firmware file. If yu d nt have the file, the newest firmware file can be dwnladed by registered users frm in the CG17 dwnlads sectin. 5. Click the update buttn Update [F12]. 6. Wait fr the update t cmplete.
