Use the remte cntrller within a distance f 8 meters frm the appliance, pinting it twards the receiver. Receptin is cnfirmed by a beep. The air cnditiner will nt perate if curtains, drs r ther materials blck the signals frm the remte cntrller t the indr unit. Prevent any liquid frm falling int the remte cntrller. D nt expse the remte cntrller t direct sunlight r heat. If the infrared signal receiver n the indr unit is expsed t direct sunlight, the air cnditiner may nt functin prperly. Use curtains t prevent the sunlight frm falling n the receiver. If ther electrical appliances react t the remte cntrller, either mve these appliances r cnsult yur lcal dealer. Replacing batteries. The remte cntrller is pwed by tw dry batteries(r0/lr0x) hused in the rear part and prtected by a cver. () Remve the cver by pressing and sliding ff. () Remve the ld batteries and insert the new batteries,placing the(+) and (-) ends crrectly. () Reattach the cver by sliding it back int psitin. NOTE: When the batteries are remved, the remte cntrller erases all prgramming. After inserting new batteries, the remte cntrller must be reprgrammed.

DOWN Buttn Push this buttn t decrease the indr temper ature setting in C( F) increments t C(6 F). Buttn Each time the buttn is pressed, the peratin mde is selected in the sequence f the fllwing: NOTE: Heat mde is fr Cling & Heating mdels nly. 4 Buttn Used t stp r start luver mvement and set the desired up/dwn airflw directin. 5 Buttn(Optinal) When push this buttn, the in generatr is energized and will help t remve pllen and impurities frm the air. 6 Buttn(Optinal) Push this buttn t initiate the Fllw Me functin, the remte cntrller begins t detect the actual temperature at its lcatin. The remte cntrller will send this signal t the air cnditiner every minutes interval until press the Fllw Me buttn again. The air cnditiner will beep t indicate the Fllw Me feature has ended if it des nt receive the signal during any minutes interval. RESET Buttn Once the recessed RESET buttn is pressed, all f the current settings will be cancelled and the cntrller will return t the initial settings. 8 ON/OFF Buttn Operatin starts when this buttn is pressed and stps when the buttn is pressed again. 9 SPEED Buttn Used t select the fan speed in fur steps: Aut Lw Med High 0 Buttn Press this buttn t activate the Aut-n time setting. Each press will increase the time setting 4

NOTE: While the unit is running under Energy-saving mde, it wuld be cancelled if press, SPEED r ON/OFF buttn. Buttn Press this buttn t activate the Aut-ff time setting. Each press will increase the time setting in 0 minutes increments, up t 0 hurs, then at hur increments up t 4 hurs. T cancel the Aut-ff time setting, just press the buttn until the time setting is 0.0. LOCK Buttn Press this recessed buttn t lck all current settings, and the remte cntrller will nt accept any peratin except that f the LOCK. Use the LOCK mde when yu want t prevent settings frm being changed accidentally. Press the LOCK buttn again t cancel the LOCK functin. A lck symbl will appear n the remte cntrller display when the lck functin is activated. 4 Turb Buttn Used t start r stp the speed cling/ heating.(speed cling/heating perates super high fan speed in cling/heating mde.) Nte: The unit system will autmatically revert back t the previus settings after cntinue perating under speed cling mde fr abut 0 minutes. 5 in 0 minutes increments, up t 0 hurs, then at hur increments up t 4 hurs. T cancel the Aut-n time setting, just press the buttn until the time setting is 0.0. Buttn Select this functin during the sleeping time. It can maintain the mst cmfrtable temperature and save energy. This functin is available n, r mde nly. Display Buttn Press this buttn t clear the display n the indr unit, press it again t light the display. Indicatrs n LCD SET ERATURE OFF display Displays the current selected mde. Including,,, (cling & heating mdels nly) and. Transmissin Indicatr This transmissin indicatr will light when remte cntrller transmits signals t the indr unit. Temp./Timer display The temperature setting (frm C(6 F) t 0 C(88 F)) r timer setting (0~4h) will be displayed. If mde is selected, there will be n display. ON/OFF display This indicatr will be displayed when the unit is perating. display( mde) SPEED display Displays the selected fan speed:,, and. Nthing displays when the fan speed is selected in speed. When r Mde is selected, there will be n signals displayed. display(n sme mdels) When pressing buttn in r mde, the remte sensing functin is activated and this indicatr displays. TIR display This display area shws the settings f the TIR. That is, if nly the Aut-n time functin is set, it will display. If nly the Aut-ff time functin is set, it will display. If bth functins are set, it will display OFF which indicates yu have chsen bth the Aut-n time and Aut-ff time. LOCK Indicatr LOCK display is displayed when pushing the LOCK buttn. Push the LOCK buttn t clear display. 5 6

5 Hw t use the buttns Dehumidifying peratin SET ERATURE( C) ON/OFF SPEED SET ERATURE( C) ON/OFF SPEED 4 Aut peratin Ensure the unit is plugged in and pwer is available. The OPERAT indicatr n the display panel f the indr unit illuminates.. Press the buttn t select Aut.. Press the buttn t set the desired temperature. The temperature can be set within a range f C(6 F)~ 0 C in C( F) increments.. Press the ON/OFFbuttn t start the air cnditiner. NOTE. In the Aut mde, the air cnditiner can lgically chse the mde f Cling, Fan, Heating and Dehumidifying by sensing the difference between the actual ambient rm temperature and the set temperature n the remte cntrller.. In the Aut mde, yu can nt switch the fan speed. It has already been autmatically cntrlled.. If the Aut mde is nt cmfrtable fr yu, the desired mde can be selected manually. Cling /Heating/Fan peratin Ensure the unit is plugged in and pwer is available.. Press the buttn t select,, (cling & heating mdels nly) r mde.. Press the buttn t set the desired temperature. The temperature can be set within a range f C(6 F)~ 0 C in C( F) increments.. Press the SPEED buttn t select the fan speed in fur steps- Aut, Lw, Med,r High. 4. Press the ON/OFF buttn t start the air cnditiner. NOTE In the mde, the setting temperature is nt displayed in the remte cntrller and yu are nt able t cntrl the rm temperature either. In this case, nly step, and 4 may be perfrmed. SET ERATURE( C) ON/OFF SPEED SET ERATURE( C) ON/OFF SPEED Ensure the unit is plugged in and pwer is available. It has already been autmatically cntrlled. Swing peratin Use the buttn t adjust the Up/Dwn airflw directin.. When press the buttn nce and quickly, the air flw directin setting feature f the luver is activated. The mving angle f the luver is 6 fr each press. Keep pressing the buttn t mve the luver t the desired psitin.. If keep pressing the buttn withut releasing fr mre secnds, the aut swing feature f the luver is activated. The hrizntal luver wuld swing up/dwn autmatically. Press it again t stp. NOTE: When the luver swing r mve t a psitin which wuld affect the cling and heating effect f the air cnditiner, it wuld autmatically change the swing/ mving directin. 8

6 SET ERATURE( C) ON/OFF SPEED Timer peratin press the buttn can set the aut-n time f the unit. And press the buttn can set the aut-ff time f the unit. T set the Aut-n time.. Press the buttn. The remte cntrller shws, the last Aut-n setting time and the signal "h" will be shwn n the LCD display area. Nw it is ready t reset the Aut-n time t START the peratin.. Push the buttn again t set desired Aut-n time. Each time yu press the buttn, the time increases in 0 minutes increments, up t 0 hurs, then at hur increments up t 4 hurs.. After setting the,there will be a nehalf secnd delay befre the remte cntrller transmits the signal t the air cnditiner. Then, after apprximately anther secnds, the signal "h" will disappear and the set temperature will re-appear n the LCD display windw. T set the Aut-ff time.. Press the buttn. The remte cntrller shws, the last Aut-ff setting time and the signal "h" will be shwn n the LCD display area. Nw it is ready t reset the Aut-ff time t START the peratin.. Push the buttn again t set desired Aut-ff time. Each time yu press the buttn, the time increases in 0 minutes increments, up t 0 hurs, then at hur increments up t 4 hurs.. After setting the,there will be a nehalf secnd delay befre the remte cntrller transmits the signal t the air cnditiner. Then, after apprximately anther secnds, the signal "h" will disappear and the set temperature will re-appear n the LCD display windw. IMPORTANT The effective peratin time set by the remte cntrller fr the timer functin is limited t the fllwing settings: 0.5,.0,.5,.0,.5,.0,.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5,.0,.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5, 0,,,, 4, 5,6,, 8, 9, 0,,, and 4. Set Off h Start 6 hurs later Example f Timer setting (Aut-n Operatin) The feature is useful when yu want the unit t turn n autmatically befre yu return hme. The air cnditiner will autmatically start perating at the set time. T start the air cnditiner in 6 hurs.. Press the buttn, the last setting f starting peratin time and the signal "h" will shw n the display area.. Press the buttn t display "6:0h" n the display f the remte cntrller.. Wait fr abut secnds and the digital display area will shw the temperature again. Nw this functin is activated. 9 0

7 h Stp On Set 0 hurs later (Aut-ff Operatin) The feature is useful when yu want the unit t turn ff autmatically after yu g t bed. The air cnditiner will stp autmatically at the set time. T stp the air cnditiner in 0 hurs.. Press the buttn, the last setting f stpping peratin time and the signal "h" will shw n the display area.. Press the buttn t display "0h" n the display f the remte cntrller.. Wait fr abut secnds and the digital display area will shw the temperature again. Nw this functin is activated. Set Off h OFF hurs later Start Stp 5 hurs later (Off Start Stp peratin) This feature is useful when yu want t start the air cnditiner befre yu wake up and stp it after yu leave the huse. T start the air cnditiner hurs after setting, and stp it 5 hurs.. Press the buttn.. Press the buttn again t display.0h n the display.. Press the buttn. 4. Press the buttn again t display 5.0h n the display. 5. Wait fr the remte cntrl t display the setting temperature.! CAUT The timer setting( r ) that in sequence ccurs directly after the set time will be activated first. On Set h OFF hurs later Stp Start 0 hurs later COMBINED TIR (Setting bth ON and OFF timers simultaneusly) (On Stp Start peratin) This feature is useful when yu want t stp the air cnditiner after yu g t bed, and start it again in the mrning when yu wake up r when yu return hme. T stp the air cnditiner hurs and start it again 0 hurs.. Press the buttn.. Press the buttn again t display.0h n the display.. Press the buttn. 4. Press the buttn again t display 0h n the display. 5. Wait fr the remte cntrl t display the setting temperature. SET ERATURE( C) ON/OFF SPEED (SLEEP) peratin When yu press the buttn, the ecnmic running functin will be activated, the set temperature will increase(cling) r decrease(heating) by C( F) ver the next 0 minutes and by anther C( F) after an additinal 0 minutes.this new temperature will be maintained fr hurs befre it returns t the riginally selected temperature.(note: On sme mdels, the set temperature will increase (cling) r decrease(heating) by C( F) per hur fr hurs. This new temperature will be maintained fr 5 hurs, then the unit is ff.) NOTE: The /SLEEP functin is nly available under Cling, Heating and peratin.
