Optins and Accessries Remte sensr ptin: TS01: Temperature Sensr with 80cm cable. 2 2. Installatin Instructins Separate the frnt panel frm back panel by depressing the tngue lcated in the tp f the unit. Pull the back panel ut. Line the back panel up against the wall r flat surface. Install three screws as required. Make electrical cnnectins as shwn n enclsed electrical wiring diagram. (Next page) Verify that yu have 24 VAC between terminals C and R. Install the cver t the back panel; first the tw tabs n the bttm and then the tp tngue. Push until tight against the wall. Wait fr 15 secnds fr the LCD display t appear (cmpletin f pwer circuit charging and fr self-diagnstics). 3. T - T0 Terminals can be used in any system cnfiguratin when Meitav-tec external sensr is cnnected and the DIP switch is crrectly cnfigured. 2

3 4. DIP Switch Cnfiguratin 4.1 The DIP switch is lcated at the bttm right crner f the bard as shwn in the drawing. (Inside the thermstat) DIP switch S1 DIP switch S1 (3 switches) cnfiguratin DIP Switch settings FUNCTI Internal temp. sensr OFF (Default) external temp. sensr OFF OFF * default DIP switch S2 (4 switches) is nt in use all switches OFF 5. External sensr cnnectin The sensr must be MEITAV-TEC type. N.TC. Sensr; Temperature ~ Resistance Characteristics Temp C Temp F Res. k The default frm factry is INTERNAL SENSOR. - Discnnect pwer t the thermstat 24 Vac. - Mve DIP switch S1 t external sensr psitin (1-ff, 2-n, 3-ff) - Cnnect external sensr t terminals T - T. - Recnnect pwer t the thermstat. The length f the cable fr the external sensr is 100 feet (30 meters) with standard cable. If lnger distance is needed then the cable MUST be shielded. 3

4 6. Technician tings 6.1 differential fr 0 10Vdc. The temperature Differential defines the rati between the pening level f the damper and the temperature demand. The damper will be fully pened when the demand (demand = ambient temp set temp) equals the differential. (Differential range: 2 C 10 C) Press and hld the MODE buttn a number will appear n the display. Adjust the differential using the + r - buttns. (In the picture the differential was 2 C and cha nged t 6 C) 6.2 Prprtinal utput selectin 0 10Vdc r 2 10Vdc Press the MODE buttn again - 0 and SET will appear n display. Using the + buttn, change the scale t 2 10Vdc 2 will appear n display. Using the - buttn, change the scale t 0 10Vdc 0 will appear n display. Press the MODE buttn again t return t nrmal display mde. (In the picture the scale was 2 10Vdc and changed t 0 10Vdc) 6.3 set fr temperature reading. The set is used fr field calibratin f the measured temperature if necessary. (set range -6 C 6 C) Press the MODE buttn again a number will appear n the display. Change the set fr ambient temperature using the + r - buttns. Press the MODE buttn again r wait t return t nrmal display mde. (In the picture the ffset was 0 C and changed t -2 C) Nte: If n key is pressed fr 5 secnds, the thermstat will autmatically return t nrmal display mde. 4

Operating manual 7.1 Turn the thermstat n Press the buttn t activate the thermstat - The wrd "" will appear n the display. 7.2 Turn the thermstat ff Press the OFF buttn t deactivate the thermstat - The wrd OFF will appear n the display. OFF 7.3 Temperature set-pint adjustment Press the + r - buttns - the set-pint temperature will flash and COOL and SET will appear n display. Adjust the cling set-pint temperature using the + r - buttns. 7.4 Select mdes Press the MODE buttn t switch between the different mde: / (Aut change-ver) Fan nly Fan In, and Aut change-ver mdes, the wrds r will flash when there is a demand fr cling r heating.
