1 Banner pcket v3 Page 1/7 Banner pcket v3 Descriptin Banner pcket will help yu get the printed sheets arranged in the way yu need fr attaching the frnt and back side pckets tgether. It will crp ne sides banner t leave blank space available fr the glue r sewing. Thse areas that have been crpped away are instead printed n the ther sheet s that when yu fld that sheet ver the ther the image will line up. Versin 3 ffers an impsing feature that let yu place up t 4 cpies f the banner n the print sheet. This is dne in a fully autmated way fr banner files with ne r tw pages. If the file nly has ne page that page will be printed n bth sides and arranged prperly. Yu can set the values fr the banner size and hw large the tp and bttm pckets shuld be. There is als a mde fr single side prints where yu get the fld marks. The example abve shws hw the final result will lk. The frnt page has the tp and bttm parts f the back side impsed and the back side has thse parts crpped away. The height fr the tp and bttm pckets can be set individually. There is an amunt f bleed t the crpped part fr the verlap. Fld marks are applied t bth pages and bleed and margins can be set.

Cmpatibility third-party applicatins The app requires callas pdftlbx server versin 9.2 r newer t be installed n the system, it will use the CLI versin f the prgram. The app will try t find the prgram in its nrmal installed lcatins, if that is nt successful yu can by right clicking n the app icn in the app sectin if the Flw elements and chsing Set path t applicatin t pint t where the callas pdftlbx server CLI can be fund by the app. This will then be remembered by the app. This prcess is needed when pdftlbx versin is higher than v9. Cnnectins This app can have several input cnnectins and use the traffic light utging cnnectins fr Success r Errr. Prperties detailed inf The app has several ptins, default settings are as belw.

3 Banner pcket v3 Page 3/7 Flw element prperties Banner size Autmatic r Manual. In autmatic mde the incming PDF files trimbx will be used as the banner size and all calculatins will be based n that. It is there fre imprtant that the file has prper settings f the trimbx. In manual mde yu have t set the dimensins in the fields fr height and width. Nte that if yu use variables in these fields, be sure that the values matches with the selected units. Banner height The value f the visible height f the banner. Banner width The value f the banner width. Bleed value The amunt f bleed that is used n all sides f the banner and at the tp and bttm crpping n back side. Margin All arund the banner yu can set a margin value, it is required fr bleed and prper placement f fld marks. It is ne value that is applied t all sides f the banner. Tp pcket The height value f the pcket at the tp f the banner. Bttm pcket Units Add cutline The height value f the pcket at the bttm f the banner. The units used fr the prperties. Drpdwn menu with the selectin f mm, inch r pints. Inches must be entered in decimal numbers, like fr 1/8. Cmmas are nt allwed fr the decimal. Default = mm If set t Yes it will draw a black line n the page trimbx. The cut line will be placed n a layer named Cut line. Default = N.

5 Banner pcket v3 Page 5/7 Cpies n sheet Yu can duplicate the prints with up t 4 up n yur print sheet. Default = 1 up. If yu set Cpies in sheet t mre than 1 up yu get t mre prperties. Gap between pages will add space between pages. This value is als dependent n the Margin prperty that already has added space. T reduce this yu can set Gap between pages t a negative value. Default = -5 Space fr fld marks will prevent that fld and crp marks will be crpped. Default = 5.

6 Banner pcket v3 Page 6/7 Single r duble sided In the single sided mde yu can nly enter a ne page PDF-file and it will be mdified with added space fr pckets with the apprpriate fld marks. In duble sided mde yu can select tw ptins fr the finishing mde, glued banner r sewn banner. The nly difference is that in the glued mde yu get bleed in the glued area. N bleed fr where the sewing is taking place. If yu enter a ne page PDF it will be cpied t bth sides. Yu can nly enter ne r tw page PDF files. Layers Sme items are nw placed n layers. Art layer The artwrk f the file Crp marks The crp marks Fld marks The applied fld marks Cut line When the ptin f adding cut lines is set t Yes it is placed n this layer. Private data There are sme metadata generated by the app that yu can reach as private data. Fr sme type f errrs the app will catch the errr messages and embed as Private data in the file. The Private data key is: errrtext [Jb.PrivateData:Key="errrText"]

Fllwing errrs will be reprted with jb failed and utput sent t the errr cnnectin. If the file is nt PDF If the number f pages in the PDF cmply t the app settings. Jb failed t prcess. All these errrs will be stred as private data fr use in ther systems. The Private data key is: errrtext [Jb.PrivateData:Key="errrText"] Variables Nte that if yu use variables t send the prperty values t the app, the prperties that are set with drpdwn menus in the app must have the exact values that the drpdwn menus have. If nt the jb will fail.
