2 Precise Fast Cmpact TNI PreciLine - Everything is abut the custmer s need, cmplete machining and the slutin f custm specific applicatins. T meet these requirements, the machine TNI cmbines efficient, high precisin and state-f-the-art technlgies n a cmpact flr space. Specially designed machine cmpnents such as the machine lathe cheek and the carriages, tgether with high precisin grund guide rails and the bearing spindles give the machine ptimum damping prperties and an abve average machine rigidity. Cmbined with digital drives with state f the art cntrl technlgy, the machine fulfils even the highest demand n precisin and reliability. Spindle capacities f 32 and 42 mm are available, whereby bth the main and the cunter spindles are thermsymmetrically integrated and have 5 precisin bearings. The machine is available in five variants, whereby fr each variant the emphasis is n cmplete wrking with highest precisin and quality. Each type is equipped with a separately guided, extremely stiff Y-axis which can be used n the main and the cunter spindle with an 80 mm strke. The machine is available either with 12-fld r with 16-fld tl turret VDI 25, each with individual drive f all tls as standard. This third turret can wrk n the main spindle tgether with the first turret t save essential peratin time. Lng shafts can be machined precise by using this turret as a tail stck. Using it with a guide bushing enables lngitudinal turning. As an autmating slutin, as well as the use f bar laders, there is a pssibility t equip the machine with an integrated 3 axis surface prtal. This prtal ffers in additin t the autmatic palletising als generusly dimensined space fr additinal peratins during machining, such as measuring, washing and drying f wrk pieces. The machine is equipped with tw caxial wrk spindles, whereby the main spindle is fixed and the cunter spindle is mving in Z-directin fr takever f parts. Furthermre the machine has gt a cmpund slide rest with a star type turret fr shaft size VDI 25 which can be used n main spindle as well as n cunter spindle. This type is particularly suitable if a part has t be cmpletely machined but the machining time n the main spindle is significantly lnger than the machining time n the cunter spindle. The machine is available with spindle capacity 32 and 42 mm. Optinally available is an Y-axis with 80mm strke which can be used n main spindle as well as n cunter spindle. The easily accessible tl turret is available either with 12 r with 16 tl psitins, each with individual drive. Cmbined tl hlders ffer the pssibility t clamp tls t the left-hand side as well as t the right-hand side what increases the maximum number f tls. The frnt side f the wrk piece is machined at first. Simultaneusly the finished part is taken ut f the cunter spindle. If the parts are unladed autmatically, an unlading cntrl can be used t avid cllisin. The wrk piece is clamped in the cunter spindle t machine the rear side. A cmbined tl hlder enables simultaneus centred drilling n the main and the cunter spindle. Interplatin f the -slide f the cunter spindle with the -slide f the star type turret enables this peratin.

This type is particularly suitable if a part has t be cmpletely machined and the machining time n the main spindle is apprximately the same as the machining time n the cunter spindle. Turret 1 f the main spindle is munted n the upper cmpund slide rest and is wrking mst time n the fixed main spindle. The cunter spindle is munted n the lwer cmpund slide rest and can take ver the wrk piece frm the main spindle t be machined with the secnd turret which is fixed beneath the main spindle. Time is saved by simultaneus machining. There s n risk f cllisin between turret 1 and the cunter spindle if the cunter spindle is mving in X-directin. The machine is available with spindle capacity 32 and 42 mm. Optinally available is an Y-axis with 80mm strke which can be used n main spindle as well as n cunter spindle. 8 TNI-B8 TNI-B8 TNI-B8 TNI-B8 The machine TNI-B8 has been designed fr simultaneus cmplete machining. The machine is equipped with tw wrk spindles, tw cmpund slide rests and three turrets. Cmpared t the machine type TNI-B6, this type has gt a third turret, a s called spindle turret. The spindle turret VDI 16 with maximum 7 tl psitins is arranged centrally arund the cunter spindle. The spindle turret and turret 1 can wrk simultaneusly n the main spindle. This is particularly suitable if the machining time n the cunter spindle is shrter than the machining time n the main spindle. The nn-peratin perid f the cunter spindle is used fr cycle time reductin n the main spindle. Fr precise machining f lng and undulated wrk pieces tail stcks can be used t supprt them. Lngitudinal turning is als pssible by using guide bushings. The same ptins are available fr this machine type as fr the machine types TNI-B2 and TNI-B6. Turret 1 as well as the spindle turret are emplyed fr machining n the main spindle. The spindle turret reduces the ttal machining time n the main spindle. Lng and undulated wrk pieces can be machined precisely by using a tail stck. The parts can be unladed using an unlading gripper t bring the wrk piece t the unlading channel in the machine dr n the right-hand side r they can be unladed thrugh the cunter spindle t the utside f the machine.

9 TNI-B10 TNI-B10 TNI-B10 TNI-B10 The machine TNI-B10 has been designed fr simultaneus cmplete machining f lng wrk pieces. The machine is equipped with tw wrk spindles, tw cmpund slide rests and tw turrets. Bth turrets are each munted n a cmpund slide rest and the cunter spindle, which can be als used as tail stck, is munted n an additinal Z-slide. This enables fast, precise and simultaneus machining with tw tls f lng wrk pieces between the centers r frm a bar by using the cunter spindle as tail stck. The upper turret can be equipped ptinally with a Y-axis with 80 mm strke. The turrets have gt 16 tl psitins, each with individual drive. Lading and unlading can be dne by the unlading arm r by 3-axis surface gantry. X3 Z3 Y2 The wrk piece is clamped between the centers n the main and the cunter spindle. Bth star type turrets VDI 25 are machining the wrk piece simultaneusly. The machining time is reduced significantly by using bth turrets. Lading and unlading by a 3-axis gantry lader with palletizing f blank parts and finished parts as well as different additinal peratins during machining time.

10 TNI-B12 TNI-B12 TNI-B12 TNI-B12 Pictgram 1 The machine type TNI-B12 is equipped with tw wrk spindles, three cmpund slide rests and three turrets fr cmplete machining f wrk pieces. Turret 1 with Y-axis, which can be used n the main spindle as well as n the cunter spindle, is munted n the upper first cmpund slide rest; turret 2 is munted n the third cmpund slide rest and the cunter spindle with its spindle turret is munted n the secnd cmpund slide rest. By using three cmpund slide rests and the spindle turret varius perating prcesses are pssible. The part in the main spindle is supprted by a tail stck which is clamped in the spindle turret. Turret 1 and turret 2 wrk simultaneusly n the lng and undulated part. In this way the wrk piece can be turned r milled simultaneusly (pictgram 1). All three turrets wrk simultaneusly n the main spindle. This enables a significant reductin f the machining time n the main spindle. (pictgram 2) The part in the main spindle is supprted by the tail stck which is clamped in the spindle turret. Turret 1 machines the lng undulated part. Simultaneusly turret 2 machines the rear side f the part n the cunter spindle. (pictgram 3) By using a guide bushing in the spindle turret, turret 1 can als be used fr lngitudinal turning. X3 Y2 Z3 Pictgram 2 All variants achieve a reductin f the machining time withut cmprmising the quality and the precisin. The machine is available with bar capacities f 32 and 42 mm. The turrets are equipped with 12 r 16 tl psitins, each tl psitin with individual drive. X3 Y2 Z3 Pictgram 3 X3 Y2 Z3 The spindle turret is used as tail stck while turret 1 and 2 are machining simultaneusly n the main spindle. Tw star type turrets VDI 25 with 16 tl statins, each with individual drive, as well as the spindle turret VDI 16, with seven statinary tl psitins, are used in this example.

11 TNI with prtal TNI with prtal TNI with prtal TNI with 3-axis gantry lader Each type f the TNI series can be equipped with an 3- axis gantry lader. It s an elegant slutin fr autmatic lading and unlading, fr example fr machining f casings, spindles, cvers, valves, pistns, cylinders, bushes and cnnecting elements fr hydraulics, pneumatics, electr-technics, precisin mechanics etc. Furthermre there is a enugh space in the 3- axis gantry lader area t integrate additinal peratins such as measuring, testing, brushing, washing and drying etc. These additinal peratins can be dne during machining and dn t have any influence n the cycle time. Because the prtal is integrated in the machine and is prgrammed using a cmmn cntrl system the lader area can be used flexibly fr varius systems such as cnveyr belts, palletising devices and different part handling systems.
