2 MACHINE SPECIFICATIONS: CNC END TENON MACHINE with TWO Spindles The Miter RT is a CNC ruting machine specially studied t execute a precise 45 miter with a mrtise and tenn jint n the ends f cabinet dr stiles and rails. The wrking head is equipped with tw (2) direct drive spindles and the machine has three interplated axes managed by the CNC cntrl. The wrk table is divided int tw znes t allw fr pendulum prcessing and fast, cnsistent prcessing times. The machining zne has ppsing left and right references fr perfectly mitered crners and an OPTIONAL manually psitined back fence t cntrl the length f the stile/rail. This ptin is equipped with a digital readut and end stp t precisely cntrl length n the secnd pass. Average cycle fr mrtise and tenn is +/ secnds depending n size.

3 SOFTWARE: The user friendly sftware makes the machine extremely versatile. The machine is equipped with a Windws PC interface used fr writing and string prgrams. We have develped special macrs fr the miter, mrtise and tenn rutines. These are written as sub prgrams and then psitined int the main prgram. They cntrl the size and psitin f the mrtise and tenn with ne easy reference. Easy and user friendly graphical sftware with DXF prfile imprter and viewer. The tl path is cmpletely cntrlled by the peratr with dynamic graphical help. Scre depth, radius cntrl, exit, entry, number f passes t cut the tenn, speed all cntrllable. This apprach allws the peratr t ptimize the tl path fr every type f wd and material. This machine is prgrammable in the X, Y, and Z axes, each f which is equipped with a brushless mtr. The mvement f the carriage is n linear rails with square guides and transmissin by precisin ball screw.

5 MACHINING CYCLE: The tling has spurs that cut a grve at the base f the tenn fr excess glue and spurs that bevel the end f the tenn fr easy assembly. The spurs that prduce the bevel at the base f the tenn als serve t scre the expsed edges f the part fr clean, precise cut, free f any visible chipping. The mrtising tl is a typical three-flute spiral rughing tl. Bth tls are prgrammed with CNC tl cmpensatin fr quick and precise manipulatin f the tls paths fr perfect-fitting jints resulting in a high quality, durable dr. A pre-set amunt f stck is remved frm each end f the part during the machining prcess. If an accurate cut-ff saw is nt available, cnsider ne f the ptinal sizing fences.
