3 SHEET FEEDER The sheet feeder shwn in the abve picture allws the remval f the sheet frm the strehuse and its psitining n the table f the perating machinery. The machine is equipped with tw servmtrs: ne fr the vertical translatin f the arm f the cupling f the sheetsand ne fr the rtatin f the arm. This kind f machines allws t wrk with very high stcks f sheets - even mre than a meter-and it als allws t place the paper n wrk plans in different units frm grund, withut any mdificatins t the machine. The machine, because f having nly a single gripping element, must first perfrm the remval f the prcessed sheets and, thereafter, it implements the utlet f the sheet t be wrke; this ne is finally placed n the pltter. The sheet feeder can be prvided f the supprt structures f the sheets t be machined and the structures f the nes prcessed. 4 SHEET FEEDER ACRAB-C-90 The arm carrying the gripping head f the sheet can rtate 90, and can be psitined at any pint f the strke. A secnd articulated arm prevents the gripping head t rtate during the rtatin f the arm. Mving a pin n the munting plate f the grip head, it is pssible t rtate the latter tgether with the arm: in this situatin, by rtating the arm 90, it als gets a 90 rtatin f the gripping head itself. The clumn psitiners are available in tw different versins: Mdel with psitining f the arm in tw psitins The arm can nly seek t the end pints f the strke. The extreme pints can be varied in a symmetrical manner with respect t the psitin f the arm perpendicular t the plate f the truck. This type f machine is used when the paper wrked shuld nt be remved. Mdel with tw serv mtrs The arm can be psitined anywhere between the extremes f the strke. The psitins can be set frm the peratr panel. The machine can feed paper t wrk, frm a warehuse, carry n the wrk table and then remve it and dwnlad it in a warehuse f finished prducts. Clumn psitiner (maximum size)

Omrn PLC with peratr panel and sftware. Hking grup with suctin cups The machine cnsists f a vertical clumn, tw arms and a head fr gripping the sheet.

6 The psitiner hks the sheet thrugh a series f suctin cups, lifts it t a predetermined height by the user and it takes it int psitin abve the table f the machine. The psitiner is equipped with electrical panel with PLC and peratr panel that allw cmpletely independent peratin. The cmmands, frm the machine tl, are received thrugh sme digital inputs. The machine cnsists f these fllwing essential elements: Vertical clumn n which are munted tw linear rails, n which runs a carriage. The carriage is driven by a servmtr Panasnic 750W, munted n a gearbx Bnfiglili wrm screw. The maximum height f the clumn is 2935 mm and it can be mdified accrding t custmer's need. Sheet hking grup, cnsisting f a carriage with tw hinged arms that supprt the hking head. A series f suckers are munted n the griping head and sme f them are munted n cylinders t flip the first sheet frm belw aviding mving mre than ne sheet. The electrical panel cntains an Omrn PLC mdel CP1L M40DT1-D-mdel and an peratr panel NQ3 mnchrme. MODEL OF ARM POSITION ON TWO POSITIONS The arms rtate up t 90 by a gear mtr wrm screw gearbxes which rtates a cntrl arm. The strke f the gripper head can be mdified by adjusting the psitin f a wheel n the cntrl arm. And it is pssible t reduce the hrizntal strke up t 1000 mm. The suctin cup hlder head can't rtate when traveling in such a way as t keep the paper parallel t its initial psitin. If the sheet must be rtated 90, it is sufficient t mve the lcking pin f the trque arm f the suctin plate. MODEL WITH TWO SERVOMOTORS The arm can be psitined in any psitin between the extremes f the strke. The arm is directly mved frm a mtr wrm screw gearbxes. The servmtr that cntrls the rtatin is a Panasnic Minas A4 400W.

7 SHEET FEEDER ACRAB-C-270 The arm carrying the gripping head f the sheet can rtate 270 and it can be psitined at any pint f the strke. Thanks t a mechanical transmissin, the pickup head f the sheet des nt rtate during rtatin f the arm. The gripping head f the sheet can translate alng the axis f the arm with a pneumatic actuatr. The strke can vary frm 0 t 250 mm. Technical features are the same f the sheetfeeder ACRAB-C-90.

10 Frm an ecnmic pint f view, the tw mdels are equivalent (cmpared with the pad applicatr clumn with tw warehuses). The warehuse capacity (height) is related t the share f the wrking plane f the cutting machine. The height f the batteries is abut 50%-80mm the ne f the wrking plane. Maximum size f sheets up t 1300 x The handling f the sheets is achieved by means f a pair f servmtrs. The electrical panel cntains an Omrn PLC with an peratr panel.

13 SHEET FEEDER MC 3200 The machine shwn in the figure is made t autmate the lading f sheets and panels n pltter tape and cutting f large frmat. The size can reach a maximum f 3200 mm and the maximum ladable weight is 30 kg. The length f the sheet has n limits but it depends n the ability f the cutter. The machinery, frm the technical pint f view, cnsists f a supprting frame with fur clumns n the grund and n which a truss runs. It is cnnected t the lift arms, which, by means f suctin cups, hk and lift the sheet. The sheets t be laded are cntained in a suitable supprt prvided separately. The machine als cmes with a safety light curtain fr the prtectin f the perating area. This mdel f the sheet feeder is als available in MC 2500, in which the dimensins can reach a maximum f 2500 mm and the applicable maximum weight is 30 kg.

14 OPERATION OF THE MACHINE The vertical mvement f the arms (Z axis) is realized by a transmissin and a tthed belt, driven by a planetary gear unit and a servmtr. The cnversin f rtatry mtin int linear ne is realized by means f three pairs spur wheel-rack. The bar fr the suckers can rtate by means f a pneumatic cylinder t facilitate the detachment f the sheet frm the stack. A series f arms that carry the suctin cup end is munted t the bar fr the suckers. The arms can be mved alng the axis f the bar t allw t adapt the psitin f the suctin cups t the size f the sheet t be machined. If yu mve the arms, yu shuld be careful t stre them in a hrizntal psitin: with the arms rtated dwnward t place a bubble and make sure they are levelled. If yu d nt use the entire length f the bar, yu can islate sme suckers, unplugging the pwer. The end f each arm has a feeler rd which avids the cllisin f the arms with the plane f the pltter. The prbes f the tw side arms is preferable that they are external t the pile f leaves t prevent a slab can take them during the intake f the paper. The pressure side f a prbe invlves the alarm stp the machine. The prbe statin perfrms the dual functin f detecting a danger f cllisin with the plane f the pltter and in phase f hking sheet t stp the dwnward mvement f the Z axis.

16 FUNZIONAMENTO DELLA MACCHINA Il traslatre per l agganci del pannell da lavrare si psizina nella parte inferire della macchina, per pi abbassarsi fin ad agganciare il prim pannell. Il pannell ed il traslatre si sllevan fin alla quta di psizinament sul pian di lavr. Il traslatre esce dalla macchina fin al punt di psizinament sul tavl e si abbassa per rilasciare il pannell. Il traslatre rientra all intern in attesa che si cncluda la lavrazine. Cmpletata la lavrazine del pannell, il traslatre esce dalla macchina fin alla psizine di agganci; si abbassa fin a tccare il pannell e l slleva fin alla quta della parte superire della macchina. Il traslatre ed il pannell rientran nella parte superire della macchina e successivamente abbassa il pannell sulla pila dei lavrati. Dp aver sganciat il pannell lavrat, il traslatre esce dalla macchina, si abbassa e rientra nella parte inferire per andare ad agganciare il pannell da lavrare. I pannelli sn appggiati su due cassetti estraibili, per facilitare il psizinament e la rimzine dei pannelli. Il cassett dei fgli da lavrare ha delle guide per il precis allineament dei pannelli. Il caric massim sui cassetti è di 300 Kg. Macchina è cmpleta di quadr elettric cn PLC Omrn CJ1 e pannell peratre NQ3. I mvimenti del pannell sn realizzati cn una cpia di servmtri

ADJUSTABLE SUPPORTS The adjustable supprts (pht at right), are prduced in tw sizes: Dimensins frm 500x400 t 1200x800 Dimensins frm 800x600 t 400x300 This prduct simple and inexpensive, has six guides 800mm height t cntain the sheets prcessed and frm wrk. The adjustment is made by lsening the lcking screws and manually translate the psitin f the single rail. ADJUSTABLE SUPPORTS SELF-CENTERING The media chucks, are prduced in tw sizes: Dimensins frm 400x260 t 1200x800 Dimensins frm 800x600 t 250x200 This prduct has 6 guides 800mm height t hld paper and machined t wrk with. The adjustment is made by 2 cranks. A crank adjusts the width and a length: turning the cranks side guides widen r tighten remaining parallel and equidistant frm the centerline f the machine. The tw cranks have a psitin indicatr which displays the distance between the guides.
