It incrprates fur reading heads t eliminate many cmmn surces f encder errrs, while its stainless steel cnstructin greatly enhances resistance t shck and vibratin. It is designed fr very precise psitining f rtary tables n machine tls, crdinate measuring machines, dividing apparatus, antennas, test equipment and similar devices. ingenuity@wrk The 8X60 incrprates an internal ASIC (applicatin-specific integrated circuit) t generate quadrature square waves up t 64 times the line cunt n the disc. Thus, the reslutin (after 4X quadrature evaluatin by the user) can be as fine as 0.28 arcsec ( , r 4,608,000 cunts per revlutin). The 8X60 is available in bth shafted and hllw shaft versins, and is interchangeable with cmmn cmpetitive prducts. WATCHDOG CIRCUIT A fault-detectin circuit cnstantly mnitrs the encder s internal signals. If they deviate beynd prescribed limits, an active-lw signal is generated. 3 Specificatins COUPLING The Mdel 8460H incrprates an internal cupling that easily clamps t the user s shaft; it des nt require threads, precise shulders r ther special machining. T take full advantage f the inherent accuracy f the Mdel, we recmmend that either the SCB-14MN r SCC- 14MN shaft cupling be used t cnnect the encder shaft t the user s shaft r rtary table.
