Enclsure finish is a 2-3 mil rganic plyester resin base. Finish is applied inside and utside t clean, and dry metal as an electrstatic charged pwder t grunded assemblies. Ring-Type Meter Scket A ring-type meter scket has a scket curl fr use with a sealing ring which hlds the watthur meter in place. The scket curl is an integral part f the meter scket cver. The cver may be a latch type, secured in place by a latch; r a crss bar type, secured thrugh the crss bar. Ringless-Type Meter Scket A ringless-type meter scket has n prvisin fr a scket sealing ring but uses the cver t hld watthur meter in place. The cver is sealable by the utility. Meter Bypass A meter bypass permits changing r testing a meter withut interrupting the service. Murray ffers tw types f bypasses. Manual bypasses fr ringless-type meter sckets are factry installed. The lever type is used n 200 ampere devices (200 and 320 Amp Heavy Duty Ringless Scket have Jaw Release - ever Bypass) and the hrn type is used n and 200 ampere devices.
