5 Assembly Instructins STEP 1. Place Tp and Sides n flat surface t thread the (12) Cnnecting Blts int the pre-drilled hles (as shwn in FIGS. 1 and 2). Attach Frnt Brace t Filler Strip (n back side f Frnt) using 1-112" Screws, be sure t psitin Brace as shwn, cut-ut dwn. Attach the Handle with (2) 4.7mm Blts t the Frnt. Attach the Rubber Bumpers t the Frnt Brace using (2) #6x5/8" Panhead Screws, (as shwn in FIG. 3). Attach the Frnt Supprt t the back side f the Frnt using (2) #5x1/2" Flathead Screws (as shwn in FIG. 3A). Turn Cams int lcked psitin, Next attach Left Side Panel (upside dwn) by guiding the Cnnecting Blts int the parts attached t the Right Side Panel (as shwn in FIG. 6); then Lck Cams. Place Clips and Inserts, in that rder, in Side Panel. Tap in Casters (as shwn in FIG. 6A), "Lcking type in frnt, "Nn-Lcking" in the rear. Attach Hinges t Leaf Supprts with (4) #8x5/8" Flathead Screws each, tap in Magnet with hammer, (as shwn in FIG. 8B). Attach the Leaf Supprt t Left Side Panel with (4) #8x5/8" Flathead Screws, (as shwn in FIG. 7). Attach the Brnze Strike t Side Panel with (1) #5xl/2" Screw. Attach the Frnt Supprt t the Left side with (2) #5xl/2" Flathead Screws (as shwn in FIG. 8). Tensin can be adjusted n the Frnt Supprt by tightening the Tensin Adjustment Screw (as shwn in FIG. 8A). 8 Installing Sewing Machine in yur new Cabinet. It may be helpful t read the directins fr perating the mechanism befre prceeding with the fllwing steps. See page 7, and FIG. 12, n this page. STEP 1. T prevent damage t Cabinet surface, place cushining material just t the left f cut-ut. Lay the sewing machine n its back, n tp f cushining material. STEP 2. With Platfrm in the flatbed psitin, place Plastic insert int psitin, making sure the ruler is facing frnt. This will aid yu in psitining the sewing machine. STEP 4 STEP 3. Feed machine receptacle crd frm the j machine cntrl pedal, up thrugh the slt n the right side f the machine platfrm. STEP 4. Insert machine receptacle int terminals prvided n the right side f the machine; (this may vary with sme machines). STEP 5. Thread the tw Headmunting Blts (prvided) int the tw threaded hles lcated n the bttm f yur machine; twist tight t the cllar; (number and type f Blts may vary STEP6. with sme machines). With the plastic insert in place (see page 7) and the frnt left crner f the machine almst tuching the frnt left crner f the Insert, lwer machine nt the Platfrm, aligning blts with machine nt the Platfrm; (sme machines may require new hles t be drilled). Next, secure machine t Platfrm with Washers and Wing Nuts, frm underneath Platfrm. See. FIG. 10 and 11. FIG. 10 STEP3 While hlding machine, lwer it int strage psitin, raise it up t free the arm (t check its peratin) then lwer it back t the flatbed psitin. Read perating instructins n page 7 first. 9 Operating the Mechanism in yur Cabinet T mve frm FLATBED POSITION TO FREE-ARM psitin: (See FIG. 13, 14 and 15.) (1.) Remve INSERT (2.) Lift and tilt machine slightly backwards. (3.) Rtate release lever t the right, (clckwise) t unlck. (4.) Lift and bring machine frward until it lcks int the new psitin. Listen fr CLICK. Let platfrm rest n tabs. T mve yur machine frm FREE-ARM psitin t FLATBED psitin: (See FIGS. 13, 14 and 15). (1.) Lift and tilt machine slightly frward. (2.) Rtate release lever t the right, (clckwise) t unlck. (3,) Allw the machine t lwer int cabinet. When yu hear the CLICK yu will knw it is in the FLATBED psitin. Let platfrm rest n frnt brace. (4.) Replace INSERT. FIG. 13 FIG. 15 FIG. 14 FIG. 16 T mve machine frm FLATBED psitin t STORAGE psitin: (See FIGS. 15, 16 and 17). (1.) Remve INSERT. (2.) Once again, lift and tilt machine backwards. (3.) Rtate release lever t the right, (clckwise) t unlck (4.) Lwer and push machine backwards and up until it lcks int psitin. MAKE SURE YOU HEAR THE CLICK. See FIGS. 16 and 17. (5.) Replace INSERT in tp pening. Shuld the Insert nt sit flush t the cabinet tp, adjust the Stp Blt n the back f the cabinet t lwer the machine sufficiently. Page 7 FIG
