4 INTRDUCTIN In March f 1983 a gephysica prgra cnsisting f prtn precessin agneteter and hriznta p eectragnetic surveys was carried ut n fur cntiguus cais in Ts Twnship. The cais, P t P incusive are cated in the west centra part f the twnship cated 140 kietres suthwest f Tiins. Access t the prperty was attained by heicpter fr Tiins. There has been n previus wrk recrded n this prperty but the grund was staked in Pepe invved in the fied wrk incude R. Majcher, M. Mageau and D. Lndry. SURVEY DESCRIPTIN The base ine f the prperty runs nrth-suth with crssines cut at 100 etre intervas and statins estabished every 20 etres. Magnetic readings were taken with a Geetrics G816 prtn precessin agneteter. This instruent easures the earth's tta agnetic fied t an accuracy f 1 gaa.

5 Base statins were estabished by ping at a the crss ines n base ine 0. A ther readings were tied int these statins. A tta f 419 statins were saped ang 7.21 kietres f ine. The hriznta p survey was carried ut with an Apex Paraetrics MaxMin II using a ci separatin f 120 etres. Readings were taken every 40 etres, 20 etres ver anaus areas at frequencies f 444 and 1777 Hz. A tta f 265 statins were saped ang 6.12 kietres f ine. SURVEY RESULTS The hriznta p survey utined a singe, highy cnductive zne abeed anay 'A 1. The interpretatin f this anay at the tw survey frequencies is given in Tabes and 2. The anay fund n Line 100 Suth thrugh t Line 600 Suth represents a strng, deepy buried bedrck cnductr. The respnses n Lines 100, 200 and 300 Suth are cincident with the nrth fank f a 500 gaa agnetic high that trends east sutheast. n Line 400 Suth the anay is fund in a 200 gaa agnetic w whereupn it trends east nrtheast thrugh a 2000 gaa ag high and ends in a sight agnetic w.
