1 MODULE 3 PRINTING WORKPAPERS Intrductin Several reprts are created in the WrkPapers mdule. Thrugh the print screen the user can preview and print hardcpies f the varius reprts. Preview and print, as necessary, t review all dcuments fr accuracy and cmpleteness. Objectives At the end f this mdule, yu will be able t: Cmplete an Explanatin f Items Access RT Print Menu Preview and Print the fllwing reprts: Explanatin f Items Emplyee Detail (by SSN r Alpha) Adjustment Summary Nn RT-6 Payments UCS-55, UCS-55A, UCS-55B UCS-55C UCS-55E Preview and Print the fllwing ptinal reprts: Payrll Detail Gruped by SSN Payrll Detail Gruped by Date Preview and Print RT Summary Reprt Mdule 3-1

2 Cmpleting an Explanatin f Items If the audit f the emplyer s recrds results in a change, whether additinal tax is due r nt, the auditr must cmplete an Explanatin f Items. The Explanatin f Items frm is available by clicking n the EOI icn n the Exhibit screen. The infrmatin abve the slid line is ppulated frm the Case and Exhibit prfiles. If errrs are discvered, return t the prfile and crrect. Cmplete the frm fllwing current DOR guidelines. Nte: Smetimes upn pening the EOI it will nt be shwn, but will be minimized. Access the Wrd icn at the bttm f the screen t maximize the frm. Never leave a Wrd dcument pen when exiting WinFMT. Mdule 3-2

3 Printing WrkPapers Several frms are available fr printing by clicking n the print icn n the Exhibit screen. Nte that at the bttm f the Print Exhibit pp up bx the user can pt t either Preview the reprt r Print it. Additinally, the user can select whether the reprts will print as Draft r Final. Explanatin f Items The Explanatin f Items cmpleted fr a Change audit can be printed here. Emplyee Detail This reprt shws a listing f the Emplyee Detail brken ut by quarter with the ttal wages als shwn. Mdule 3-3

4 This reprt can be srted by SSN r alphabetically. When srted by SSN, the first 5 digits f the SSN are redacted due t cnfidentiality therefre it is recmmended yu srt alphabetically. Adjustment Summary This reprt shws a summary f all audited adjustments listed by quarter with the ttals als shwn. Mdule 3-4

5 Nn RT-6 Payments This reprt is a listing f all f the Nn RT-6 Payments that were entered. UCS-55, UCS-55A and UCS-55B This is the Reemplyment Assistance Tax Field Audit Reprt. Sme f this reprt is aut-ppulated with infrmatin frm the Case Prfile. Other fields will need t be manually cmpleted in the Print Preview status. The reprt is separated int 3 sectins. The first is the UCS-55. Mdule 3-5

11 RT Summary Once the RT exhibit is cmpleted and calculated, the auditr clicks n the Wrksheets and Reprts tab f the WrkPapers mdule. Frm here the auditr can either highlight and Open r duble click t see the RT Summary. This reprt shws a summary f the As-Filed and As-Audited wage infrmatin as well as a summary f the differences by quarter. Printing Draft vs. Final On the Wrk Papers screen, just belw the title bar, yu can select Final r Draft status fr the WrkPapers. Mdule 3-11

12 When Final status is selected, frms will print as Final (neither Draft nr Final appears n these frms). If Draft is selected, the prgram will insert DRAFT. Nte: If the WrkPapers are nt in a calculated state, the RT Summary will nt pen. Instead, an errr message will appear reminding yu t calculate the exhibits.
