The wrk was dne n behalf f Diatreme Explratins Inc. 545 Granite Street, Sudbury, ntari P3C 2P4. The wrk was supervised and dne by David Larnde f Meegwich Cnsultants Inc., P.. Bx 482, Temagami, ntari PH 2H. Field persnnel were Denis Theberge, and Reginald Mrin. Nte: 0 km f linecutting and magnetic surveying frm this wrk had been submitted previusly t hld a claim. This reprt discusses the whle jb including the 0 km. A ttal f 7.00 km f chainsaw line was cut and chained at 25 meter statins with a line spacing f 00 meters. Metal tags were placed n pickets at 00 meter intervals. The rientatin f the baseline was 090 while the crsslines ran at r 80 degrees. A GPS c-rdinate UTM E, NAD 27 was taken n L 700 W at 00 S. 2.0 PRPERTY: The prperty cnsists f tw 2 unit claims numbered 2382 and The ttal area f the prperty is 384 hectares. The claims can be described as Lt 34 Cne IV S/2 Lt 34 Cne V et al and the W/2 f Lt 3 and 4 Cne III Lts and 2 et al. The prperty can be accessed by taking Hwy 583 heading due suth frm Hearst fr 0.2 km. At this pint make a left fllwed by a quick right and prceed 2.5 km t an intersectin that marks the beginning f a lgging rad. Cntinue suth until km 29, stay right then keep n ging t km 52. Frm this pint a snwmbile trail fllws an unplwed rad 6 km westward t the prperty. In summer rad access shuld be pssible with an ATV and pssibly by truck. 4.0 MAGNETMETER SURVEY: A ttal f 7.00 km was surveyed (800 readings) at 2.5 meter statins n lines spaced at 00 meters. The sensrs were munted n an aluminum staff and the magnetmeter in the "mbile" mde. 4. Instrumentatin: A Gem Systems verhauser GSM-9 V5.0 magnetmeter (ser. N ) was used fr the field survey t cllect ttal field data. This instrument has a gradient tlerance f 7000 nt/m which is useful in cllecting meaningful data ver irn frmatin. A Scintrex EDA mni IV prtn precessin base statin magnetmeter (ser. N ) was set up near the prperty t mnitr and crrect fr the diurnal variatin during the curse f the survey. Generally speaking there is a series f intense linear highs that trend parallel acrss the surveyed area in a nrtheasterly directin. These features are typically meters wide and are extremely intense and range frm ,000 nt abve backgrund. Nte that readings that are abve 0,000 nt may have less than ptimal signal strength frm a steep magnetic gradient greater than 7000 nt/m. Values are up t 6,000 nt n L 500W at 525N. The true width f this feature pinches in and ut frm 50 t 00 meters. Anther intense high is fund n L 300W at 500N. There are sme negative values assciated with a linear trend n the baseline between 600 and 700 W. The linear high in the suthwest part f the grid is truncated at 725 W. This may indicate the presence f a nrth trending fault. A weak linear frm L at 525 S t L 200 W at 200 S trends in a nrthwesterly directin which is smewhat intriguing. Bth nrth and suth extremities f the grid are seemingly subtle magnetic lws. Als in the suth part a subtle high f 300 nt is centered at 500 W, 450 S. Special attentin was given t achieve ptimum cil separatin and rientatin with the supprt f an MMC (Maxmin field cmputer). The cmputer calculates the tilt f the cils and the crrespnding separatin. A ttal f 5.30 km (600 readings) was surveyed with readings taken every 25 meters. 5. Instrumentatin: An Apex Maxmin l unit (ser. n. 5309) was used fr the hrizntal lp EM. Fur frequencies were read, 440, 3520, 7040 and 4080 Hz, measuring the in-phase and ut-f-phase. The reslutin f the instrument is Q.25%. 5.2 Survey Results: The results f the survey are presented in prfile frm n plans at :5000 scale. Cnductr axis are indicated n the plans. The survey yielded tw strng cnductrs that are assciated with very strng magnetic respnses that trend nrtheasterly. Cnductr A appears t be a wide zne r a dual cnductr n lines 600 and 700.W. The strngest respnse is n L 400 W. The ther cnductr is B which yields a very strng respnse n the western end. Bth anmalies cntinue ff the grid in bth directins. Typically the width fr bth cnductrs is 0-20 meters. There is a resistivity respnse that trends acrss the suthern part f the grid in a nrtheast directin. This appears t be an verburden respnse. There seems t be at least three rck units that are apparent:. A mafic intrusive taking the frm f a nrthwest trending dike lcated in the suth half. 2. Linear and intensely magnetic features which are likely irn frmatin in the nrth half. The irn frmatin is within sedimentary stratigraphy with a pssible minr vlcanic sliver als alng stratigraphy. A faulted irn frmatin is fund in the suthwest part f the grid as well. 3. A sedimentary unit, which hsts the irn frmatin and pssible vlcanic rck, may explain the remainder f the surveyed area. A furth gelgical unit that is nt knwn at this time may explain the subtle magnetism fund in the suth half f the grid. The feature is centered at 400 W, 425 S. The HLEM survey picked up tw strng cnductive hrizns f which ne flanks a magnetic high (irn frmatin) and a secnd that is in the centre. Bth f these respnses are strng and appear t vary in width frm 0-20 meters. These cnductive znes likely represent sulphides assciated with the irn frmatin. These znes shuld be tested fr ecnmic gld mineralizatin. Cnductr A flanks the irn frmatin t the nrth which suggests a stratigraphic relatin.
