4 IECQ-CECC ranges Speciaty High Re. and approved parts A range of speciaist, high reiabiity, mutiayer ceramic capacitors for use in critica or high reiabiity environments. A fuy tested / approved and avaiabe with a range of suitabe termination options, incuding tin/ ead pating and Knowes FexiCap. Ranges incude: 1. Range tested and approved in accordance with IECQ-CECC QC Range quaified to the requirements of Knowes detai specification S02A-0100 (based on ESCC 3009). C0G/NP0 and X7R - 16V to 1kV High Reiabiity Chip Capacitors A range of MLC chip capacitors in Utra stabe EIA Cass I and II dieectrics with specia testing for ong term reiabiity. They are designed for optimum reiabiity; burned in at eevated votage and temperature and 100% physicay and eectricay inspected to ascertain conformance to strict performance criteria. Units may be tested in accordance with MIL-PRF-55681, MIL-PRF-123, MIL- PRF or customer SCD. Designed for surface mount appication with nicke barrier terminations making them suitabe for soder wave and refow soder board attachment as we as vapor phase attachment for part sizes 2225 or smaer. Siver-paadium terminations are aso avaiabe for hybrid use with conductive epoxy. C0G/NP0 chips are used in precision circuitry requiring Cass I stabiity and exhibit inear temperature coefficient, ow oss and stabe eectrica properties with time, votage and frequency. Cass II X7R chips are used as decouping, by-pass, fitering and transient votage suppression eements and exhibit +/-15% temperature coefficient and predictabe variation of eectrica properties with time, temperature and votage. Lead Stye N 50V to 500V - N & J stye eads Lead Stye J S02A Space ranges Knowes manufactures a range of C0G/NP0 and X7R dieectric MLCCs which conform to Knowes Space specification S02A 0100 (based on ESCC 3009). C0G/NP0 and X7R - 16V to 500V High Temperature Capacitors - HiT range The HiT range of mutiayer ceramic capacitors is suitabe for a variety of high temperature appications up to 200ºC incuding: oi exporation, geotherma, miitary, automotive under-hood and avionics. This range is manufactured to exacting standards using our unique screen printing process. This provides a high quaity component suitabe for demanding appications. High Temperature 200ºC C0G/NP0 and X7R - 16V to 630V

6 High Reiabiity & DSCC Approved Radia Leaded Caps Radia Leaded Capacitors avaiabe in C0G/NP0 and X7R characteristics with specia testing for ong term reiabiity. In addition a range of High Votage eaded capacitors are aso avaiabe in ten DSCC approved specifications (Novacap Vendor CAGE code is 65238). The conforma coating and ead mounting stye provide a rugged configuration for optimum performance. Units may be tested to MIL- PRF and/or MIL-PRF and find appication for High Reiabiity use such as power suppies, votage mutipier circuits, aerospace, airborne and miitary use for radar. They are aso offered without the conforma coating for ess harsh environmenta appications and as RoHS compiant parts upon request. COG/NPO and X7R - 1kV to 1OkV High-Re EMI Fiters Knowes is experienced at providing products for the most demanding appications incuding ESA and NASA Space projects. Knowes product quaifications incude AEC-Q200 and space grade panar arrays and fiters. Specia finishes (eg. Sn/Pb) are avaiabe for exempt appications such as miitary and space. Surface Mount Fiters are avaiabe as C fiters (E01, E07), Pi fiter (SBSPP) and X2Y Integrated Passive Components (E03) and are avaiabe with Knowes FexiCap fexibe epoxy poymer termination materia. The foowing are quaified to AEC-Q200: Surface Mount C Fiter (E01 and E07 ranges) X2Y Integrated Passive Component (E03 range) A range of resin Seaed Ceramic based Pane Mount Fiters designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of MIL C and MIL C are avaiabe. The test methods are in accordance with MIL STD 220 and MIL STD 202 and covers: Insertion oss, Soderabiity, Bump and vibration, Temperature cycing, Humidity and Temperature rise under dc oad.
