2 Cross side The high stabiity of the cross side is characterised by the minima distance between the cross and vertica guides. This consequenty ensures that the gear beam traves as cose as possibe on the base. A the forces occurring in muti-axis simutaneous machining have therefore aready been taken into account when dimensioning the machine cross-section. The machine design is moduar and expandabe. The NC axis is designed for positioning and simutaneous operation. On the horizonta-vertica pivota pane the A axis can be programmed at every 1 / 15. Programming is carried out directy at the machine contros via a user friendy diaogue. INTEGRATED PIVOT DESIGN FOR MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY By optima arrangement of the pivot axes machining can be carried out in amost any corner. Changing the workpiece setup is a thing of the past. 12 Paet base tabe The paet is pushed over bearing roers with a gap of 0.5mm on to the base tabe. The paets are then camped over 4 zero-point camping systems. Repeat accuracy is +/-0.01 mm.
