Single Channel ph Cntrller 3TX-2M-pH-A-REL Scalable 4-20mA analg utput is standard fr all measurement mdules, with ptinal MODbus digital utput available at a nminal surcharge. Precise factry-calibrated linear analg utput allws excellent use in cntrl applicatins. All analg utputs have built-in trim calibratin supprt, including bth ffset and span adjustments. Hld feature standard fr all versins f the measurement mdules fr ph, ORP, in selective (ISE), disslved xygen (DO) and cnductivity parameters. When calibratin mde is entered, the last value frm measurement mde is held fr bth 4-20mA analg utput as well as the MODbus utput(s). Calibratin f temperature is available fr all measurement mdules. ISE measurement mdule (3TX-ISE): 3TX-ISE displays, calibrates, and utput in cnvenient ppm units. Measures any in, including Ammnium (NH 4 +), Calcium (Ca ++ ), Fluride (F - ), Nitrate (NO 3 -) and Nitrite (NO 2 -) amngst many thers. The type f ISE measurement must be preset at the factry. * Single Channel Cntacting Cnductivity Transmitter 3TX-2M-CON-2.0/200-A-PS Simple ffset adjustment allws easy field calibratin f sensrs while in service t agree with grab sample r labratry analysis. The standard 3TX-ISE transmitter supprts and requires directly interfacing in selective sensrs withut preamplifiers. In additin, the 3TX-ISE-X hardware versin supprts and requires in selective sensrs with preamplifiers t enable installatins that require lng cable lengths r t perate in very high interference areas. The sftware, features and functinality is perfectly identical fr bth hardware versins. When the 3TX-ISE is cmbined with the 3TX-TOT and 3TX-pH mdules, it can prvide cntinuus inline field measurement f ttal ammnia (NH 3-N), ttal fluride (HF), ttal cyanide (HCN) r ttal sulfide (H 2S) parameters withut the use f any reagents within the permissible ph & temperature ranges. Supprt fr lw ranges dwn t 0-5 µs and all the way up t 0-1,000 millisiemens as required fr the given applicatin requirements. Six Channel ph/orp/ise/cnductivity Assembly 3TX-6MW-CON-ISE-REL-pH-ORP- ISE-PS Zer calibratin fr true 0.00 reading with yur sensr dry in air. Precise and wide-range gain calibratin allws fr effective (a.k.a. apparent) cell cnstant t be +/- 70% f the nminal sensr value. Disslved Oxygen (DO) measurement mdule (3TX-DO): 3TX-DO mdule displays and utputs the cncentratin f disslved xgyen in ppm, % saturatin units, as well as the prcess temperature Autmatic crrectin fr temperature, pressure and salinity fr calibratin and % saturatin measurement mdes A simple gain calibratin with sensr dry in air. The autmatic gain calibratin adjusts the sensr slpe (mv per ppm DO) based upn preprgrammed 100% DO saturatin at the temperature & pressure. N lk-up tables are ever needed t calibrate the galvanic DO sensr. N "Zer" calibratin is ever needed fr galvanic type disslved xygen (DO) sensrs as they have a true zer ptential. 4 ph / ORP / ISE / DO / Cnductivity Measurement Prducts Lines Temperature Mdule (3TX-TEM) 3TX-TEM is a mdule t add a scalable analg utput fr Temperature t any 3TX-pH, 3TX-ISE, 3TX-CON r 3TX-DO measurement mdule. This ptinal mdule can be used t add a temperature utput at any time befre r after cmmissining. Input fr temperature measurement can be Pt100 r Pt1000 type TC element integrated inside the sensr r else a separate temperature prbe. Special hardware & sftware allws a single Pt100/Pt1000 element t be used bth as input fr a 3TX measurement mdule and a 3TX-TEM temperature transmitter. This cnfiguratin is referred t as spliced input mde and is the default. Any ph, ORP, ISE, cnductivity r DO sensr with integral Pt100 r Pt1000 TC when in splice input mde will be used bth fr temperature cmpensatin n the measurement mdule and t send a scalable utput fr temperature frm the 3TX-TEM temperature mdule Direct wiring frm separate (rather than shared) Pt100 r Pt1000 temperature elements is als supprted. This cnfiguratin is referred t as raw input mde. In "raw" mde autmatic crrectin fr the resistance due t the cable is perfrmed frm user entered values fr the wire gauge and cable length. Displays Temperature ( C) and raw Ohms frm cnnected Pt100/Pt1000 element. Offset and gain (span) calibratin types supprted in bth "splice" and "raw" mdes fr precise temperature measurement. Full range C with a reslutin f 0.2 C, Scalable 0-20mA r 4-20mA analg utput type is selectable. Cntrl Mdule (3TX-REL) Each 3TX-REL mdule has 2 each independent Single-Ple Single-Thrw (SPST) 5 Amp cntact relays. Each relay is fully cnfigurable by the user as t cntrl mde and variables fr each cntrl algrithm. Tight integratin between 3TX alarm & relay cntrller and 3TX measurement mdules sftware makes cnfiguratin and scaling simple & easy fr any lcal cntrl requirements f the ph, ORP, in selective (ISE), disslved xygen (DO) r cnductivity parameters. The 3TX-REL alarm and relay cntrller mdule includes bth basic and mre sphisticated cntrlling ptins, including all f the fllwing mdes: 1) A simple supervisin ptin fr alarm functinality nly; 2) An On/Off cntrl with a user-cnfigurable deadband (a.k.a. hysteresis); 3) Time prprtinal cntrl (TPC); and, 4) Prprtinal frequency cntrl (PFC, a.k.a. variable pulse cntrller). It is pssible t wire the analg 0/4-20mA utput frm 3TX-pH, 3TX-ISE, 3TX-DO r 3TX-CON measurement transmitter t ther data acquisitin r cntrl device prir t cnnectin with 3TX-REL alarm/relay mdule using the apprpriate wiring scheme (see alternate wiring schematic fr details). 5 Datalgging Mdule (3TX-DAT) and MODbus Optins IOTRON TM ph / ORP / ISE / DO / Cnductivity Measurement Prducts Lines MODbus: If yu wuld like t have MODbus digital utput, there are tw different appraches available: 1: Order measurement mdules with MODbus ptin included. Please nte that adding the MODbus utput is nt an ptin after the mdule leaves the factry withut MODbus. 2: Add a 3TX-TOT mdule t cnvert frm analg t MODbus utput. Unlike the first apprach, this flexible ptin may be selected either at the time f initial installatin r at any time thereafter. The 3TX-TOT mdule als has additinal functinality, as detailed in the sectin belw. Datalgging: Fr datalgging functinality, there are als tw different appraches: 1: If yu have pted fr MODbus utput using either f the appraches described abve, yu may use a free f charge ptinal Windws PC sftware interface kit t the MODbus digital utput. This allws fr real time display f all values fr all transmitters that are wired t that MODbus line. In additin, the sftware kit allws fr datalgging fr all transmitters cnnected n the line, including bth the scaled utput value and temperature fr each measurement mdule. Up t 247 devices can be supprted n a single MODbus digital line (2-wire cable), and lng cable length can be supprted fr field installatins up t 6500 feet (1.23 miles r 1.98 kilmeters) t make viewing in the instrument shp practical and easy. A free f charge Windws PC datalgging and graphing sftware is prvided fr use with 3TX transmitters with the ptinal MODbus RS-485 digital utput: 2: A 3TX-DAT mdule can be added t perfrm MODbus datalgging. The 3TX-DAT mdule allws fr datalgging up t 63 each MODbus digital inputs frm any mix f 3TX-pH, 3TX-ISE, 3TX-CON, 3TX-DO and 3TX-TOT mdules. The sampling rate is cnfigurable frm nce per secnd t nce per hur. The 16MB nbard flash memry allws extensive datalgging capacity. Cnfiguratin f the 3TX-DAT is accmplished via the free f charge Windws datalgging and graphing sftware fr 3TX transmitters with MODbus and upladed & dwnladed the separate ASTI Windws sftware fr 3TX-DAT. The 3TX-DAT can be pre-cnfigured upn request withut additinal charge. The lgged data is dwnladed t a Windws PC r tablet fr further wrkup, graphing and analysis via the ASTI Windws sftware. The 3TX-DAT can be added at any time after cmmissining if the mating 3TX measurement mdule(s) have the MODbus utput ptin. 3: Datalgging can als be accmplished by cnnecting (either directly r in series) the standard scalable 4-20mA analg utput frm the 3TX transmitters t any cmmercial PLC, SCADA r ther data acquisitin device that can be suitable cnfigured t lg engineered units fr all measurements. 3TX-TOT ph Cmpensatin Mdule t Cmpute Ttal ISE The 3TX-TOT mdule cmputes the ttal ISE. This mdule can cmpute ttal ammnia, ttal cyanide, ttal fluride and ttal sulfide. The mdule cmputes the ttal ISE using three inputs: 1) the free in activity; 2) the ph; and, 3) the temperature. These three input parameters are prvided by the analg utput frm the respective measurement mdules. A scalable 4-20mA analg signal is available t utput the cmputed ttal ISE t PLC r ther data acquisitin equipment.
