4 PNS - Process Industry Services The processing industry demands speciaized nitrogen services in order to optimize pant and pipe operations, reduce shutdown times and save costs. PNS is providing a broad range of services that ensure a high operation quaity during the whoe ife cyce of a process pant. Integrated precommissioning Services Prior to the start-up of any new process pant or modue there are certain requirements that must be met before hydrocarbons or product can be introduced safey. PNS provides procedures and risk assessments based on industry knowedge and experience for each service offered. Nitrogen purging, drying & product dispacement The hydrocarbon processing industry deas with many hazardous products which need to be removed from the faciities before any maintenance or ceaning work can be executed. Nitrogen / Heium eak testing Experience proves that LEAKS do occur, mosty during pant start-up, after commissioning of new faciities or after the execution of maintenance on existing faciities. Enhanced nitrogen reactor coodown The use of cataysts has increased as the quaity of crude has decreased. PNS pump units are of the atest design and manufacture and have the versatiity to meet various pressure, fow and temperature requirements. PNS vaporisation unit types incude N2 HP pump unit, steam vaporiser and ambient vaporiser Hydrostatic & pneumatic testing Hydrostatic testing of pipeines and vesses is performed to expose defective materias that have missed prior detection, ensure that any remaining defects are insignificant enough to aow operation at design pressures, expose possibe eaks and serve as a fina vaidation of the integrity of the constructed system. For pneumatic test PNS use compressed air or nitrogen as a media, in case of hydrostatic testing we use either water or cient s product as media.

PNS has a compete pipeine service program from commissioning maintenance and decommissioning package to safeguard safe and smooth pipeine operation during the whoe ife cyce of this vauabe asset. Pipeine (pre) commissioning PNS has a the services, equipment and experiences to carry out a compete Pre-commissioning program of; Pipeine ceaning, gauging, fiing (fooding) and Hydrostatic testing Pipeine mechanica and chemica ceaning It is important to cean the ine from debris or condensate what can affect other instaations. We have years of experience in pipeine ceaning, mechanica and with chemica soutions, with the right designed PIG for it purpose. Pipeine geometry and ocation (xyz) surveys The too for pipeine geometry or pig survey is purpose buit to measure any deformations in the pipeine, which coud cause deformation and coating oss resuting into corrosion. Aso the pipeine pig abiity needs to be maintained for Inine Inspection programs. Injection of super dry air at a dew point of much ower than - 40 C sha be continued up to the moment that the target dew-point is reached; In case ower dew points of - 65 C.have to be achieved PNS offers nitrogen drying. Pipe freezing To provide a temporary isoation of pipeine sections PNS provides the direct freeze method. The freeze pug is generated by fiing a purpose buit temporary jacket with iquid nitrogen. The system is ideay appicabe on stainess stee and carbon stee pipeines. Pipeine & tank eak testing (above and underground) The portabiity and ight weight of the PNS Hei-test equipment (Varian PHD-4) pays a major roe in this appication. Underground pipeines and storage tanks are pressurized with heium which can escape through sma eaks and migrate to the surface. There it can be easiy detected by the PHD-4.

6 PNS - LNG Industry Services PNS has an experienced team of speciaists who have successfuy engineered the commissioning and coo-down on some of the argest LNG instaations across Europe. Our eary invovement through construction and into start-up has enabed us to taior our service offerings to improve safety, efficiency and quaity during the compete project. Design PNS engineers have assisted with design reviews of LNG terminas in order to assess the constructabiity, testing phiosophy and future maintenance requirements. A good up front understanding of the project requirements is the first step to achieving a cean start up. Construction One of the most important activities during the construction phase is the pneumatic pressure testing. Tried and tested procedures and safety systems ensure that every precaution is in pace prior to these operations. It is essentia to work towards the start-up of the faciity from day one. Systems can have a critica joints torque/tensioned and tagged, be camera inspected, pressure tested, high veocity bown and even dried to a certain extent. This can drasticay reduce pre-commissioning time. Pre-Commissioning Prior to the start-up of any LNG termina certain requirements must be met, these can incude: A Critica joints correcty assembed and tightened, a spades and spacers in the correct position, a cryogenic systems dried (-60 C Dewpoint), a Non-cryogenic gas systems dried (-25 C Dewpoint), a Hydrocarbon systems eak tested, a Hydrocarbon systems Oxygen free (Less than 2%). Start Up The most critica time of any oi & gas project is the start-up phase, even more so on an LNG termina as the first cargo can be waiting to be unoaded. Using our coo down systems which are designed to suppy ony cod Nitrogen gas, PNS is abe to reduce the wa temperature of the termina unoading header to temperatures down to -140 C in a short period of time. This can aow the first cargo to be discharged straight into the unoading system with ess concern worry of pipe work movement due to temperature difference across the pipe wa. LNG Tanks PNS have had great success with LNG tank testing and commissioning. We carry out hydro testing using our Hydro cycone which fiters the testing water to ensure minimum residue is eft behind. For the pneumatic testing we suppy cean, dry and oi free air at high fow rates, it is often beneficia to carry out the tank drying at this stage. The fina stage is the oxygen freeing, PNS has a arge seection of Nitrogen suppy equipment to achieve this in the shortest possibe timescae. 7 PNS - Botworking & Onsite Machining Services The principe of a boted joint is based on the induced bot oad deivering sufficient joint compression and gasket seating stress to withstand maximum service pressure and forces. This is when the boting is under tensie oad. A minimum eve of operationa gasket seating stress must be maintained throughout joint service, therefore the design bot oad/compression target on instaation shoud aow for creep, reaxation, uncertainty over service oadings and the toerances of components and toos used. Bot Tensioning is often specified as being the preferred method of tightening throughout the Oi & Gas Industry for a fasteners of 1 1/8 Ø and above. Fange Spreading Enabe our cients to gain quick and safe access to fange faces to assess their condition and cean prior to assemby and subsequent retightening. Sickine Services offers we maintenance, remediation, contro and safety soutions incuding crane services: Compact equipment is spread for easy and quick access to perform Sickine Operations Sickine Unit and workshop are paced on a ow oader chassis. Traier wi be put in ine with the wehead and disconnected from the Crane truck Crane wi be paced outside the Ex-Area around wehead and risers wi be rigged-up for the operation A fodabe working patform wi be taken by the Sickine crew for easy operator access to wehead EX- ights are mounted in engine compartment and inside the Sickine Unit Unit is sef-supporting and does not need eectricity nor air to operate How does it work? Rig or work over rig has to be on site to run a defector shoe on dri pipe or tubing to the desired depth. ½ Capiary tubing is used to dri a hoe in the Casing by running it to the desired depth and is used to bring the Jetting BHA down to jet the ateras.
