3 Menu Navigation GAMEPAY TIPS If you want to go straight into gamepay, pease use these options: 1. Seect New from the menu. 2. Choose your character in the character seection screen. 3. Name your character or accept the defaut name. 4. Save your game or continue without saving. Troing Mode Game Modes In this mode, the payer can move sowy and quiety around the ake using the troing engine. This is very usefu in finding the perfect fishing spot. Your fish-finder at the bottom right corner of the screen wi be of great hep to you. Once you seect a spot, use the D-pad to switch to the Casting Mode or Boat Mode. Tournament Fishing In this mode, you wi participate in 3 different tournaments Easy, Norma, and Hard. You wi have to begin on Easy and work your way up by winning and unocking additiona tournaments. Boat Mode Open Fishing This mode aows you to have a free-roaming fishing experience in any (unocked) fishing area. Casting Mode Quick Chaenge This mode aows payers to jump right into the fishing action by seecting a random (unocked) fishing area. Options This menu aows you to change gamepay, audio and contros settings. Extras This menu incudes a ot of vauabe information: - Payer s statistics - Anger s Den - Credits 4 In Boat Mode, you can take fu advantage of the boat s power and drive around the ake at fu speed. At the same time, you are sti abe to use the fish-finder, but at higher speeds it is not as accurate. When you begin the game, your character wi be standing at the front of the boat, ready to cast. You can change the casting direction using the eft Stick. When you are ready to cast you shoud know which ure you want to use. This wi depend on: 1. The species of fish you are trying to catch (your objective). 2. Depth at which the fish is ocated (fish-finder). With this information you can seect the right ure from the Fishing Gear menu (B button). Once you cast you wi have to pay attention to two things: 1. ine tension. You wi have to counter the ine tension using the rod (Right Stick) and ree (RT). If you don t manage to reduce the ine tension in time you wi have to perform a combo to prevent the ine from breaking. 2. Combos. These are bonuses that reward you with faster reeing, increased ure attractiveness, etc. 5

4 Combos URES Attract When this combo is performed correcty it makes the ure more attractive to fish. This game features over 30 types of the best Rapaa branded ures that vary in coor and weight. OCATIONS Ree-in boost When performed correcty, the ine is pued in with a short 30% speed boost. Time warp If performed successfuy, time passes 20% quicker but the fish gets extra energy. Sure hand If performed correcty, rod-movement combos (keeping the tension meter centered) are easier for 2 minutes and the fish doesn t fight as much. Aeria boost If performed correcty, the fish jumps out of the water and is reeed in quicker. Od sage If performed successfuy, combo timings are extended by 15% for the rest of the fish fight.
