3 SRCH Search fr Cases 1. INTRODUCTION The screen design slutin dcument prvides detailed infrmatin abut a screen in the isupprt Case management System. SCREEN ID: SRCH - Search fr Cases SCREEN DESCRIPTION: The fields n SRCH prvided in the Select Filters sectin f the screen are prvided t allw the wrkers t filter the number f recrds returned in the display grid. 5 SRCH Search fr Cases SCREEN PROCESS: SRCH will supprt the fllwing screen functins by authrized wrkers: Search fr Cases This screen functin f SRCH is a view nly functin which allws authrized wrkers t search fr case matches in isupprt. The infrmatin presented t the wrker will give the wrker quick infrmatin t answer questins fr callers and walk in clients. DATA MANAGEMENT: INQUIRE MODE: Search fr Cases: T inquire, the authrized wrker can enter any knwn infrmatin in the Select Filters sectin f the screen. The fields in the Select Filters sectin can be used individually, with the exceptin f the Requesting State, Requested State, Applicatin Type, DOB and Search By fields; all fields can be used in any cmbinatin t filter the available Actr recrds and limit the number f recrd rws ppulated in the display grid. The fields available in the Select Filters sectin are: Surname - This ptinal entry field can be used t enter the Surname, f the Actr being researched. The Surname can als be searched using the drp dwn list next t the Surname field. These ptins will allw fr a mre defined search r a wider search when the exact spelling is nt clear. The ptins available are as fllws: Exact will search isupprt fr the exact spelling f the last name that was entered. Starts Like will search isupprt fr the any last name that begins like the last name entered. Example: Rckburn will prduce Rckfrd; Rckburn; Rckets. Ends Like will search isupprt fr the any last name that ends like the last name entered. Example: Frd will prduce Rckfrd; Frd; Axelfrd. Sunds Like will search fr any last name the sunds like the last name entered. Example: Smith will prduce Smyth; Smithe Cntains will search fr all last names that cntain the letters entered in the last name. Example: Hines will prduce Shine Given Name - This ptinal entry field can be used t enter the Given Name, f the Actr being researched. Birth Name - This ptinal entry field can be used t enter the Surname, f the Actr being researched. Alias - This ptinal entry field can be used t enter the Alias, f the Actr being researched. Actr ID - This ptinal entry field can be used t search fr an Actr using the ID number assigned t the Actr. Identificatin Number This ptinal entry field can be used t enter the Identificatin Number f the Actr r party being researched. Other Identificatin - This ptinal entry field can be used t enter the Other Identificatins f the Actr r party being researched. Requesting State - This ptinal entry field can be used t search fr the Actr r Case based n the Requesting state. Requesting State cannt be searched as a single search filter. Requested State This ptinal entry field can be used t search fr the Actr r Case based n the Requested State. Requested State cannt be searched as a single search filter. Applicatin Type This ptinal entry field can be used t search fr the Actr r Case based n the Type f Applicatin. Applicatin Type cannt be searched as a single search filter. Internal Reference Number - This ptinal entry field can be used t search fr the Actr r Case based n the internal reference number f the applicatin in the Requesting State. Internal Reference Number - This ptinal entry field can be used t search fr the Actr r Case based n the internal reference number f the applicatin in the Requested State. Search By This ptinal field allws the wrker t filter with the selectin f Creditr, Dependant, r Debtr. The default value fr the Search By field will be ALL. The Search By field must be used in cmbinatin with any ther field in the select filters. Once the Select Filters are entered, press the FIND buttn. The display grid will shw all ptential case matches and can be expanded t view additinal infrmatin. SRCH allws wrkers t view case summary data fr a selected case. Select a rw by clicking t high light, then click the icn at the end f the Case Summary ribbn. The Case Summary Ribbn displays and is rganized int categries: Case Details Crss - Referenced Cases Debtr Infrmatin Creditr Infrmatin Case Enfrcement Status When the search is cmplete, the wrker reviews the results in the grid. When ready t mve t anther screen and t ensure sticky data will be used high light the rw that cntains the Case Number and Actr ID f the case and Actr needed. Page - 4 Last Updated: January 05, 2016

T begin a new search while still n the SRCH screen, click the New icn in the tls bar at the tp f the screen.
