The system als prvides the ability fr lcal churches t lcate their church members and thers affiliated with their church n yur map. This is referred t as PeplePlt. S, while there are a few things yu need t learn, the system is designed t be user friendly and prvides yu with additinal services nt available frm ther systems. 2 LOGGING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME Befre lgging in the first time review the Starting Pint.pdf dcument. T lg in t the MissinInsite System g t the MissinInsite Hme Page. Hver yur muse ver Client Center in the upper right and click Lgin. Enter yur newly created Username and Passwrd and click the lgin buttn. That s all there is t it! Explre the Welcme Screen Once lgged in, the next step is t explre the Welcme Screen that appears. Explre each f the dcuments in rder. Als explre Help menu chices. 3 Hw t Register 1. Open Yur Brwser Navigate t: MissinInsite.cm. Muse ver the Client Center buttn n the hme page. Select Registratin. On the new Registratin Infrmatin page click REGISTER. Enter Yur Unique AGENCY ACCOUNT ID #: Cntact Maine Cnference t btain Accunt ID# 2. Begin the Registratin Prcess a. Select yur city and yur church. b. Cmplete bxes creating yur unique User Name and Passwrd c. Review terms, check the Accept Terms bx and click Register. Yu will receive an entitled "Cnfirm Yur " asking t cnfirm yur address which cntains a link t activate yur accunt. This link will be valid fr 24 hurs. Fllwing yur accunt activatin, a new windw will pen t enter yur User Name and Passwrd t lgin t the PepleView System. Check yur Spam/Junk bx if the des nt appear in yur Inbx. d. Fr future lgins, hver ver Client Center buttn n the MissinInsite Hme Page and select "lgin" frm the drp dwn menu. e. D nt make multiple attempts at registratin. Explre the Map Tls All PepleView System functins are selected frm Map Tls. All reprts are based upn gegraphic shapes. Shapes are created by selecting ptins in the Shapes tab. Create yur first shape and access infrmatin with ne f the Predefined Reprts r Build Reprt. Build A Reprt is ideal fr accessing data t answer specific questins such as "Hw many peple live within a 20 minute walk f ur lcatin?" Nte: All Map Tls functins are described in the Basic Site Orientatin n the Welcme Screen.

Peple Plt instructin vides are fund in the Supprt Vides selectin n the Help Tab. Reprts Tab Saves all predefined reprts viewed fr 30 days fr quick retrieval. Help Tab Prvides supprt vides, descriptin dcuments, hw t instructins and cntact infrmatin. Welcme Screen Tab Lcatin where Welcme Screen is stred and can be retrieved at any time. View Prfile Here yu can edit yur prfile infrmatin including yur username and passwrd. 5 Map Tls The perating system fr the PepleView System is built n the Ggle Map platfrm and includes the fllwing Functinal Tabs and Right Click PC Muse Shrtcuts. Backgrunds Tab Cntains five (5) map backgrunds. Street, Satellite, with the ability t add streets and highways t the satellite view (Hybrid), Terrain and Basic fr a clean mapping backgrund. Standard Layers Tab The fllwing standard mapping bundary shapes are available t display n yur map. These include: States, Cunties, Zip Cdes, Cities, Census Tracts, Census Blckgrups, Elementary Districts, High Schl Districts, Unified Schl Districts and Vting Districts. These bundaries are fr display nly. T access infrmatin fr these areas yu need t active the gegraphy in the Shapes Tab. Nte: Elementary District, High Schl District and Vting Districts bundaries are NOT AVAILABLE in all states. If nt available in yur state they will nt appear in the Standard Layer List f yur study. My Layers Tab My Layers cntains the infrmatin added t the map frm yur agency. This includes yur agency bundary and church lcatins. It als includes bundary shapes created fr yur agency. These are bundaries such as assciatins, deaneries, districts, parishes r vicariates. Custm data views can als be added t yur map. See yur MI accunt manager fr details. Pltting Tab This tab displays the PeplePlt fr cngregatins that have upladed their church/parish PeplePlt file. Pltting views include All Plts, Distance t Church, Member By Means and Member Status. Lcal Church/Parish Registered users are ONLY able t view their Single Church plts. Reginal Agency users can view the additinal selectins abve. Multiple Churches selectin Can select a maximum f 30 church plts t display fr a multiple church/parish plt. All Plts selectin Prvides agency users ability t view all plts. 6 Shapes Tab Here is where yu select the gegraphy yu want t use t run a Predefined reprt (t run the CmparativeInsite reprt yu must have PeplePlt displayed within the area), Build a Reprt, r use Opprtunity Scan. Shape chices include standard and custm plygn gegraphy. Shapes in the Hw T selectin n the Help Tab cntains written instructins n creating the varius shapes. Drawing Plygns is fund in the Supprt Vides selectin n the Help Tab. Inf Bx When yu select a shape, the shape appears with a blue brder alng with the Inf Bx. Custm shapes can be saved and edited. Build a Reprt allws yu t select individual variables frm the data base. Ideal t answer questins during meetings as well as t create a quick pdf reprt f the selected variables. An Opprtunity Scan User Guide is available in the Dcuments sectin f the Help Tab. Make a List prvides ability t view churches in the selected area. Church Administratrs can als retreive the names f their PeplePlt persns in a selected gegraphy. Purchase Address List allws yu t purchase yur address list in the study. Instructins, pricing and review f list are part f purchase prcess. Travel Plygns (Beta) This functin allws yu t create a gegraphy by drive time r distance as well as walk time r distance frm a pint yu select n the map. Yu then can use all f the selectins available t yu in the Inf Bx. Theme Maps Tab Here yu can display the available variables n a theme r pprtunity map by ne f the standard gegraphies. The selectins are available in a new windw when yu click n create a theme r pprtunity map. Creating and Printing Theme Maps is fund in the Supprt Vides selectin n the Help Tab. Theme Maps in the Hw T selectin n the Help Tab cntains written instructins. Graphics Tab This tab prvides yu with a number f graphic selectins that include adding labels and icns. Measure Distance between tw pints. Lcate an Address prvides ability t enter an address and find it n the map. Search Ggle Maps Exprt Image allws user t save the map image t their cmputer. Clear remves all images added by the user n the map. Right Click PC Muse Functins When using a PC and yu right click yur muse, the windw n the right pens with the listed functins. The Clear functins pen when yu click n Clear. T activate the functin click n yur selectin. Rectangle Zm allws user t zm int an area by creating a zm bx. Fr rectangle zm instructin, see Basic Navigatin in Supprt Vide selectin n the Help Tab. Reset Zm returns map view t view at lgin. Draw New Shape allws the user t draw a new plygn shape withut checking the Draw New Shape bx in Shapes n Map Tls. Exprt Image allws user t save the map image t their cmputer. Identify Church allws yu t right click n a church which places a marker n the map. Yu then left click n the map t display the infrmatin in the recrd f that church. Ggle Street View prvides the current Ggle street view if available. Clear pens windw with available clear functins. Clse clses the windw Right Click Functins n a Mac The standard methd f right-clicking in Mac OS X, which wrks n any MacBk, is the cntrlclick: hld dwn the cntrl key near the far left f the bttm rw f the keybard when clicking the trackpad buttn. An alternative methd is t hld tw fingers n the trackpad while clicking the buttn, but this des nt wrk n the riginal MacBk mdels. MacBks released in 2010 and later allw yu t specify a prtin f the trackpad that acts as a right-click. Yu can als use a USB tw-buttn muse, which prvides a standard left buttn as well as a right-click buttn.
