3 Bear Paw Patches This colourful quilt finishes at 70 x86. Make 20 bear paw blocks and sash it altogether. Also recommended is the Goddess Ruler. It cuts 1/2 squares with the seam allowance out of 2 1/2 strips. You can make this with a jelly roll and 3 metres of background fabric. Free Motion Quilt Level #1 Love the idea of learning free motion quilting, but not sure how to start? This class has the new to free motion quilter in mind. You will be introduced to swirls, squiggles, stars, meandering, continuous triangles, vines, and a free motion feather. Whew, that should get you started on quilting your own quilts! Guidance and direction to give you confidence to FMQ is a top priority. 5 Free Motion Quilt Level #2 Now that you ve ventured into the world of Free Motion Quilting on your domestic machine, you want to learn more FMQ designs to add to your already memory bank of existing designs. This class is for the student who isn t afraid to dive into the FMQ pool to add tear drops, leaves, continuous filler designs, inside/outside swirls, graffiti quilting and those dreaded bump back feathers to their quilts. It s easy to handle size allows you the opportunity to finish your project in one class, a great make and take home design. Learn the fundamentals of applique while honing your skills and reaching new levels of quilting. Different stitches will be discussed as you work on your quilted wall hanging using your domestic sewing machine. These same instructions can be applied to larger bags as you gain confidence with each project you make. This small tote is perfect for carrying your cell and can be enhanced using Intense Crayons (provided for use in class) to personalize your own tote by colouring a small flower on it. Soon you will want to gravitate to larger challenges including putting zippers in pillows or cosmetic bags while updating your sewing resume with each one completed.
