1 Happy New Year! 2019! We are excited to bring you our new year line-up! We have lots of new classes, new BOM s, a new Saturday Sampler and several other new ideas in the works! Featherweight Friday: Every 4 th Friday of the month, we sponsor a free Sew-in for Featherweight Enthusiasts! Bring your Singer Featherweight and any project, especially those UFO s and join other Featherweight Fans! It s just a whole lot of fun! January 25 th, 10am-2pm February 22 nd, 10am-2pm March 22 nd, 10am-2pm 2019 Saturday Sampler kicks off Saturday, January 5 th, 9:00am, where we will demo our first block. You have until the last day in January to sign up and begin!! This is a 12-month program. We are making a quilt full of houses so 2019 is Mi Casa Su Casa. Stay tuned for more information! The Rules: Every first Saturday of each month is Saturday Sampler. At 9:00 am we will demo the new block. You must bring in the previous month s block completed on our Saturday Sampler day in order to get the next block. If you do not bring in your completed block on our Saturday Sampler day, you will be charged a late fee. Also, YOU must be the one to bring in your block. Do not send your daughter, sister, friend, husband, etc. No substitutes! If you fail to pick up your blocks for 2 consecutive months, you will AUTOMATICALLY be dropped and we will no longer cut blocks for you. All purchases for the Saturday Sampler program are non-refundable. Saturday Sampler is the first Saturday of each month. We will continue with Saturday, February 2 nd, 9am, and Saturday, March 2 nd, 9am. Block Buster: Join for only $3.00! Start any time! When you sign up, you will get a Fat Eighth of fabric and instructions to create a 12-1/2 block. Complete your block with our Fat Eighth fabric and some from your stash or ours! Bring your finished block in by the second Saturday to be hung throughout the shop. Join us on the third Saturday at 10:00 am to receive your next block free. Enter for a chance to win a $25 Quilts Olé Gift Certificate when you return your block to hang in the shop AND attend the demo! The blocks in this quilt appear to be offset, lending movement to the stars. Instructor: Sue Harris Let Sue hold your hand while you learn to use a rotary cutter and ruler. She ll lead you through piecing several different blocks. You ll use those blocks to make placemats. Then on to making a quilt sandwich and some easy quilting. She ll also show you two different ways of finishing a project including binding. Sunday, January 13 th, One Block Wonder Quilt 12:00-5:30 pm Class Fee: $45 Instructor: Laura Krausmann Book Required Back by popular demand! Learn how to make a unique, one-of-a-kind quilt from just one fabric! We have beautiful Kaffe Fassett fabrics that would be wonderful for this project. Always a fun class! Two Color Bargello Quilt (2 Part Class) (Part 1) Monday, January 14 th 9:30-12:30 pm (Part 2) Monday, February 11 th 9:30-12:30 pm Class Fee: $45 for 2 classes Pattern Required Instructor: Sue Harris Create a dramatic quilt full of depth and dimension. Beautiful ombre fabric creates an optical illusion that's sewn with straight seams. Easy for any skill level. Only 2 fabrics are used in this project! Choose from three layouts!

You will learn how to join strips to reduce bulk, how to attach to your project without any special tools, and how to finish attaching with Christine s special techniques. 6 Stacked 4-Patch Quilt Class (2-Part Class) (Part 1) Sunday, March 24 th 1:00-4:00 pm (Part 2) Sunday, April 7 th 1:00 4:00 pm Class Fee: $45 Instructor: Pat Raikes Pattern Required In a stacked 4-patch every block is different, and they all come from one fabric! Learn the secret in this class. Mitered multiple borders are also included. Advanced beginner level. Tuesday, March 26 th, Tulip Applique Class Instructor: Dawn Myers Pattern provided in class Let s applique using creative techniques to make these tulips come to life, just in time for spring! Sunday, March 31 st, Thread Painting Class Instructor: Dawn Myers Pick your favorite panel and let Dawn show you how to bring it to life! You ll add so much dimension with thread! Quilts Olé Class Information Payment in full is required to reserve a seat in the class. Although we HATE to cancel classes, sometimes it is inevitable. Quilts Olé reserves the right to cancel a class and will attempt to reschedule. If a class cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be given. If student cancels a scheduled class, one week before the class, we will issue a store credit for the class fee. If there is a future class the student wishes to reserve, then we will reserve that class. Students receive a 15% discount for purchases of materials for the class and a 15% discount for any purchase on the day of class. Please come to class fully prepared and ready to sew! Supply lists are provided at time of registration.
