Thursday, April 14 Large Monogramming Linda Embroidery Machine Class: Embroider a beautiful large monogram for a pillow and learn the details of large monograms: sizing, stitch type, and hoops. Thursday, April 21 Minimum Marking Maximum Machine Quilting Chris Sewing Machine & Quilting Class. Learn to use your fabric to your advantage in this free motion quilting class. With a little planning you will save a lot of time after mastering this technique. You will never look at fabric the same way again!! Some free motion experience preferred. **fabric kit required** Friday, April 22 Charm Pack Quilt Bonnie Piecing and Quilting Class: This is a great beginners quilt using pre-cut 5 squares. Quilting options will be discussed and include: traditional machine quilting and/or Quilting in the Embroidery Machine Hoop. Saturday, April 23 & 30 Sending Designs to Your Embroidery Machine Cathy Computer & Embroidery Machine. Practice sending embroidery designs to a USB stick and/or directly to the embroidery machine. Learn to send designs from a CD/DVD and/or from your computer storage. We will use ArtLink 7 Embroidery Software, a free program downloadable from Saturday, April Ruffled Baby Blanket Linda Sewing Class: Make a cute, fancy baby blanket with a spiral of ruffles using knit fabric and the gathering foot #16. A neutral background with gradient dots cascading down the quilt. Fabric selection is made easy with our Ombre color fabrics. The circles are appliqued onto the solid background. Quilting is super easy using the walking foot & straight lines very modern! Tuesday, May 17 & Monogram with a Wing Needle Frame Kate Software 7 & Embroidery Machine Class: First create the design using Software 7; then, learn to embroider the background frame with a Wing Needle. Embroider the monogram on top for an elegant look. A perfect monogram for pillows, napkins, or placemats.
