Mrs. Clause is surprising Santa with a special vacation. So, Christmas in July has been moved to Friday October 20 th and Saturday October 21 st It will be known as, ELF DAYS! (They are the ones that have all the fun at the workshop, come join us then!) Camp Calico Projects include: Microwaveable Bowl Holder; Table Runner; Pillow; Ornament Ball; Potholder and a Gift Bag. Don t miss out on this favorite retreat! Be sure to sign up now, as it is just around the corner. Bring a project, old or new, or just come for inspiration and enjoy the company of other sewing friends! The next camp will start at noon August 24 and wind down on August 27 at 4 pm. The cost is $105 and includes Sunday Brunch. A deposit of $50 is required Gatherings Sit n Sew $5 Anytime! Call first for availability. We love to see you working in our studio! It s big, bright and beautiful! Come join us to sew with friends. Bring your machine and a project or two and sew all day! We want you to just relax and spend time with us. Sew n Supper $10 Friday, July 7 and August 11-10pm (come as early as 4pm) Bring a covered dish to share, a project that you re working on and have a meal and sewing with good friends. Mastery 2 Free*/ $75 Monday, July 17 th and August 21 st A continuation of Mastery 1, in this class you will further explore the different feet and creative stitches available on your BERNINA machine. Mastery 3 Monday, July 24 th - 2 pm A continuation of Mastery 1 and 2 for customers who own a BERNINA 5 series, 640, 7 or 8 series machines only. Not all exercises will be available for all machines above. In this class, you explore the creative options available. BERNINA Software V8 ** Wednesday, August 16 th You won t want to miss this class on the new Version 8 software. Kathie will guide you to maximize your software and address any questions you may have. Exclusively for BERNINA machines. BERNINA Embroidery Mastery Monday and Tuesday, August 14 th and 15 th -2pm This 2-day class is a MUST for new BERNINA owners with embroidery module. Learn what you need to know about the operation of your new BERNINA. BERNINA Serger Mastery 1 Saturday, August 5th -2pm This class is exclusive for BERNINA Serger/overlock machines only. Come let Kathie show you how to work with your new machine to understand all its basic features. *Free for 1 year after purchase of machine from Calico Station. 3 Clubs Embroidery Club ** No Class in July Saturday, August 12 th -4pm A new lesson or project each month focuses on an embroidery technique. Join the club and be certain you are getting everything you want out of your embroidery machine. This class fills up quickly and is limited to 10 to give you individual attention! Check the website for the latest project. This club is open to all brand machines. Fab Club $75 for 6 months. Saturdays July 1 st, August 5 th, September 2nd October 7 th November 4 th and December 2nd 9am Class Instructor: Mary This Club is all about fabric. For $75 you ll receive a 6-month membership that includes fabric samples from several new fabric lines. Meet with other people who LOVE FABRICS as much as you do, and see what s new and exciting in the marketplace. Let s Get Organized ** Saturday, July 15 th and August 19 th - 2 pm (You are welcome to stay until closing). Come join Let s Get Organized, a new project of the month club using patterns from byannie.com. July class -Thread Dispenser/Sewing Case 2.0 This case is great for those who applique and quilt. Thread needles without removing spools from the pockets. August s class Just In Case The small case can fit in the glove box and hold firstaid supplies or emergency travel kit. Saturday, July 29 th No class in August Noon Cute and Crabby Towel Set Choose one design for a hand towel and the other for the bath towel. With creative applique work and stitched broad smiles, these happy crabbers will have you smiling right back. Table Runner Club** Sunday, July 30 th and August 20 th 12:30-4:30 pm Instructors: Sandi or Amy Spend a fun-filled Sunday afternoon with us making easy table runners. Classes Maintenance with Jerry ** $5 Saturday, July 8 10 am Noon Class Instructors: Jerry Our marvelous BERNINA technician will once again share his vast knowledge with us. Learn how to treat your baby! Fall, Leaves, Fall ** July 10 th and 17 th Class Instructor: Sherri Fall leaves in colors of yellow, green, red, purple and orange, cascading across a quilt top. Very colorful and looks complicated. But Sherri will show you how to make perfect points and make your leaves stand out. This is a two-part class. Fan Dance **.00 Tuesday, July 11 th and 18 th Class Instructor: Mary Beat the heat with this cool quilt pattern. Using a Dresden template create this fun and easy design. Be creative with it and make a table topper; table runner; bed runner or quilt. Think outside the

4 box and make this fun project in a monochrome wave. Pretty and fun anyway you look at it. This is a two-part class. Disappearing Star ** July 13 th -1pm Class Instructor: Marjorie This is a quick quilt utilizing the Jodi Barrows R8 ruler. We will learn another technique from her book. This class will demonstrate option 2 & 4. Smooth Sailing Paper Piecing ** Thursday, July 13 th OR August 8th Amy will help you explore the basic techniques of paper piecing a quilt block. This wall hanging has 4 different paper-pieced blocks, and you will use the same techniques for each additional block. She is offering the same class twice. You can pick whichever month works best. Fun with Animals ** July 19 th and 26 th Bring your favorite Elizabeth Hartman pattern of a kitten, fox or hedgehog and let Amy guide you in piecing your favorite animal. Fat quarter friendly patterns. This is a two-part class A Winter Dance ** Thursday, July 27 4pm Class Instructor: Dawn A beautiful machine applique wall hanging or lap quilt for your Christmas decor. Come let Dawn show you how easy it is to add a machine applique dancing deer to your quilt. Ohio Star ** Thursday, August 17 th 1pm Class Instructor: Marjorie This class will teach you how to use the specially designed ruler to make 12 1 /2 " Ohio Stars. Come learn the Square in a Square technique created by Jodi Barrows. This is a very versatile design, easy to make a scrappy quilt. Beloved Heirloom ** $ Tuesdays, August 22 nd, 2pm September 19 th, - Noon October 24 th, Noon REQUIREMENT, must have The OESD Design Collection, Beloved Heirlooms, (supply list included). This is a beautiful machine embroidered quilt. The class will run over 3 months, so there will be plenty of time to stitch out your blocks at home. All the designs will fit in the BERNINA large oval hoop. You will learn good hooping techniques and how to place a design to stitch out correctly. This is a great project for getting started with multi-hooping! We welcome all brands of machines in our classes.
