Classes Beginning Beginning Quilting These are 11 greeting cards that you make on your embroidery machine. We will be able to use the Edge Cutter to make our appliqué pieces!! This class is designed to teach foundation quilting skills and techniques for either a beginning quilter, self taught quilter, or the quilter that wants a refresher. We make a small project (table runner) that is completed by the end of class. Many basics will be taught: picking fabrics, cutting, piecing, tools, quilting, binding etc... 7 Sessions Wednesdays from 10-1 pm Starting November 9th (there may be skips) Instructor: Carol Cost: $100 I Session Tuesday November 8 From 9am Noon Cost: $15 Lace Ornaments Machine Embroidery Classes Mug Rug, Hot Pad, Pin Cushion or Mini Quilt KimberBell Design- multi format We will be creating lace ornaments on the embroidery machine. 3 Free Standing Lace Angels OESD- multi format These Angels are just spectacular! We have made several of OESD free standing projects and they are all superlative! Tuesday December 6th From 9am 1pm Cost:$20 Computer Operation This is a computer class for the student who is frustrated with basic computer operation! Learn your way around the key board, files, saving files and documents etc... Barb goes slow and has instructions written out so when you go home you can remember what to do! If you are en embroidery machine operator, she will review design transfer as well.. 3 Sessions Wednesday October 12, 26 & November 9 From 9am 11 Instructor: Barb Projects Greener Pastures Autumn Mini Turnberry Designs- multi format 8 x 18 This is the quilt for all horse lovers. There is a bed size quilt and smaller wall hanging. 2 Sessions Tuesdays October 11 & 18th From 1 5pm This beautiful sample is embroidered on the machine. Instructor: Jean We will pre-cut for class if you choose your fabrics, or Cost: $40 we can choose for you!! All have to do in class is embroider and piece!! 4 Tyvek Art Quilts Yes I said Tyvek, like your house is wrapped with! Several fiber art artists have been creating beautiful work using Tyvek. The tyvek is painted and then burned for effect!!! Pictured is Joanne's sample that she learned this technique on, but we are going to be working with on a much smaller sample so that you can learn the technique. Come and play with Joanne! 5 Snippet Christmas Tree Monthly Classes Kindred Spirit This is such a fun techinique, we call it snippet. It is such a freeing project, you do not have to be detail oriented. You literally just cut snippets of scraps to create beautiful designs. Ruth chose to create a Christmas Tree! This class will be lecture demo and small project or practice square.
