1 Monday-Friday 10-6 Saturday 10-4 It s been a really long time since we ve done a newsletter, but we ve decided that we lose that personal touch using just the internet. With the newsletter we can include more details, prettier pictures and more fluff! Let us know what you think or offer suggestions ( Keep it nice!). You can view this on the website (obviously!), print out the pages you want or just download it to your tablet to refer to it at your convenience. We think we re going to like this and hope you do too! Let us Know! The unveiling of all our new Christmas fabric as well as new fall fabric happens on July 23! If you plan on making special gifts or new home décor items now s the time to get started! If you don t get the exciting new fabrics when you first see them, you may not be able to get them at all later. Some of you have experienced that before and know what I m talking about! Right?! We also have some new samples made to help inspire you! See more details inside! One Day Only Specials! Join Beth every other month to embroider a project and learn something new about your machine! You ll have the directions and designs you can use over and over again to create gifts for others and even for yourself! These are original projects and available only through the class. This is a Sit & Sew/Embroider class. Bring a snack or a sack lunch and join us! Open to all brands of machines but you must know how to use your machine before taking this class. 2 Students will be given a CD with the workbooks in a PDF file to print or save to your favorite electronic device. One workbook will be completed each day in class. The class fee includes all the fabrics needed to complete the fully illustrated, in color, step by step workbook! Workbook CD and Fabrics Included Lunch is provided each day! This hands on retreat is for everyone! Join us for 3 fun filled days to learn your Ovation or Evolution serger inside and out. You will say I didn t know I could do that on a serger! If you are thinking about buying a serger, you will find out how much fun it is and how much time it can save you! You ll wonder how you ever got along without one! Baby Lock sergers thread themselves for an even easier time! Lunch is provided each day! Patsy has been working in the sewing industry since 1983 and has worked for major sewing machine companies. She has contributed to several sewing publications including SEW NEWS, SULKY OF AMERICA, CREATIVE MACHINE EMBROIDERY and QUILTING PROFESSIONAL, along with others. She has appeared on sewing shows and is a certified Cotton Theory Quilting instructor. Patsy has taught internationally as well as nationally and loves to educate and inspire others to have fun with their sewing machines and sergers!

3 Home Sweet Home is the theme of this year s Row by Row. Since we all love our canopy roads we featured them on our row along with a view of the capitol as seen through the trees. The arrows can either be representative of birds or, if you re an FSU fan, they can be for the Seminoles! We have kits available as well as.svg files for those of you who have a Silhouette Cameo or other digital cutting machine and would prefer to use that for cutting out the applique pieces. We also have the fabric license plate. You might even want one of these just for a keepsake!

9 Wish Upon Not only are we celebrating Christmas in July, but all the other holidays coming up this fall! We are unveiling our new Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween fabrics along with new patterns, books and ideas. We ve got new samples made and some are even being offered as classes. We know it s hot and muggy outside and Christmas seems a long way off, but it ll be here before you know it! Now s the time to get started on all your decorating and gifts. This way when it s time to decorate all you ll have to do is put it out! Won t that be great?! Get started now and you ll be able to enjoy your family, friends and all that the holidays bring! It ll be better than spending long hours in the middle of the night trying to get your projects done! August 3 1:00 3 class sessions Class Fee: $45 Make this fun star quilt using Studio 180 s Split Rects, Tucker Trimmer 1, and Wing Clipper 1 tools. Wish Upon comes in two sizes, lap and full. Choose whichever size you prefer. Machine Embroidered Applique for Beginners July 28, Class Fee: $25 Learn to applique with your embroidery machine. This design can be stitched on a tea towel or used as a pillow top. Silhouette Cameo for Beginners August 4, Class Fee: $25 Let Debbie show you how to get around in the software that comes with the Cameo. You ll be amazed at what you can do with this new addition to your sewing (and crafting!).

10 Software Basics V7 Editor and/or Designer Open Wide August 6, 10-4 August 24, 10-4 Class Fee: $35 Make one of these bags and you ll be wanting to make several! The pattern has three sizes included and we ll be making the medium size in class. Learn how to give your bags more body to make them look more professional. Kids Kamp August :00 Class Fee: $145 4 Class sessions Mon.-Thurs. This is for children ages 10 and up that want to learn to sew. This class is a little more advanced than the earlier classes so if your favoirite young ones took the class earlier this will not necessarily be a repeat. The projects are different and a bit more advanced. Beyond the Basics August 12 & 19, Class Fee: $30 2 Class sessions Now that you ve got the basics down it s time to move on and explore other features of your software. August 13, 9-3:30 Class Fee: $85 Free if purchased from us! After this class you will have a basic working knowledge of your Bernina embroidery software. Trust us, this can be the beginning of a serious addiction! But it s fun! Machine Mastery August 16-Sept.29, 5 Class sessions Class Fee: $50 per class session Free if purchased from us! You know how to sew, but this class will help you get the most from your new machine! Besides going through all the basics you will also have the opportunity to try new accessories and find out what all the talk is about! Easy zippers, pintucks, piping, ruffles and even some quilting techniques will be covered. Choose either morning or night classes to fit your schedule! The Down Low on Downloading August 18, Class Fee: $25 They re everywhere! They re everywhere! You ve got embroidery designs everywhere and you can t find them anywhere! Learn how to properly download and save your designs so you can find them when you re ready to use them. Create folders to organize your designs so you won t waste time looking for them. You ll love being organized!

11 All About the 5 Series! Eyelet Embroidery August 18, Class Fee: $15 FREE Learn to use your eyelet embroidery attachment (foot #82). If you purchased this foot during the July accessory promotion, this class is FREE for you! Beginning Sewing August 22 & 29, 2 class sessions Class Fee: $40 This is a perfect project to the beginning sewist! Make a cute trendy apron all while learning how to choose and prepare you fabric. Make your project look professional with perfect topstitching. You can make it for yourself or for a gift in either an adult or child size. Monogram Wizard August 25 Class Fee: $25 Learn to create beautiful monograms with either a single font or by combining different fonts. Did you know it s not just for monograms but that you can even use it for words? Or that you can create a multi-color monogram? Bring your computer and find out how! Sept. 8, 10-4 Class Fee: $150 FREE if your machine was purchased from us! Learn about your machine model specifically. You ll find out what all those buttons do and how to set up your machine to suit the way you sew. The morning will be spent on the sewing part of the machine and after a short lunch break we ll explore the embroidery side! If you only have the sewing machine and not the embroidery module you ll be finished when we break for lunch. You can always take the embroidery part of the class when you add the module at a later date! Fun With Fonts Sept. 9, Class Fee: $25 You ve learned basic lettering in your embroidery software and now you re wondering, Hmmm, what else can I do with these fonts? Right? Come try out a few new things in this class that you probably haven't thought about. SEW -CIAL Class Fee: $5.00 Formerly know as Sit & Stitch. Bring your current sewing and/or embroidery project and stitch with friends! Borders 6 Sept. 13-Oct class sessions Class Fee: $55 Another one of Linda s popular Borders classes! Even though each row is designed so that it can be used as borders on a quilt you can coordinate your fabrics and put them all together for a wall hanging or throw sized quilt! Linda has a way with color so come enjoy making these unique rows in your favorite colors and let her help you with accent colors! All About the 7 Series! Sept. 16, 10-4 Class Fee: $150 FREE if your machine was purchased from us! Learn about your machine model specifically. You ll find out what all those buttons do and how to set up your machine to suit the way you sew. The morning will be spent on the sewing part of the machine and after a short lunch break we ll explore the embroidery side!
