This hands-on group is for anyone who wants to quilt their own projects whether you own a BERNINA home machine or BERNINA long arm machine. Learn and practice new quilting techniques every other month. Please register to attend. Annual fee $120 for 6 class session: Feb. 12, April 9, June 18 July 9, Oct. 8, Dec. 10 from 2-5 pm. Tuesday, Feb. 12 2:00 5:00 Twisted T-Shirt Cindy (Sewing & Serger) Make a simple t-shirt with a little detail on the shoulder. Sew a piece of stripe fabric to form pleats to be twisted for a shoulder accent. Use a sewing machine and/or serger to construct the shirt. Wednesday, Feb :00 2:00 $40 BERNINA RulerWork Sampler Joyce (RulerWork Free-motion Quilting) Get comfortable using rulers and templates. Participants will create a 24.5 x 24.5 sampler using a straight line ruler and a set of circle quilting rulers. Many techniques will be learned by using just these two kinds of rulers. Some projects are stitched completely in the hoop and some finish up with the sewing machine. Each class will use Dealer Exclusive embroidery designs that are not yet available to purchase and some you can only receive by attending this class. Make sure you bring your USB stick for the files and embroidery designs. Supplies are purchased separately.
