Rotary cut strips, rectangles and triangles and piece with an ACCU- RATE 1/4 seam. You will add both an inner and outer border. Your quilt will be quilted and bound and you will make a label for it. 5 5278 Detroit Road, Sheffield Village page 5 QUILTMAKING MACHINE QUILTING Machine quilting is the process of stitching the layers of your quilt top with batting and a backing layer. Start by layering your quilt. Learn the techniques to hold the "Quilt Sandwich" together. Quilt on a printed practice quilt, learning about straight line quilting with a dual feed (walking foot). Then use Free Motion with lots of techniques: stippling, echo quilting, continuous line designs and more. You ll learn about threads and batting too. Sew Steady is offering a wide range of rulers and feet to use on YOUR machine. Get hands on practice and take your quilting to the next level.
