3 What to expect at open house We welcome you to view our quilted class samples. Although class registration begins when we post our newsletter on line, registration continues on open house day and until classes are filled. Great savings during our Open House on: Fabric, batting, books, patterns & notions CLASS POLICIES Class fees required at the time of registration. Phone registrations are accepted only if you use a Credit Card. Registration is non-refundable. In the case of a class cancellation due to insufficient enrolment, a refund will be issued. Supply list must be picked up at time of registration. Read carefully! Do not purchase any class supplies until you are sure the class has minimum enrolment. Please be on time! No children or babies in class. Bring any sewing basket items you think you will need over and above the class supply list. Although our classrooms are supplied with sewing machines, the odd class may ask you to bring your own machine - (Check your class handout sheet) Please do not wear perfume in the classroom. The price beside each class description is for the cost of instruction only, patterns and supplies are extra, and these are required for class. The time allotted for classes are designed to cover the concepts being taught, and not intended for completion of the entire quilt, except in the learn to quilt class.

4 PATIO BLOCKS $65 Learn all the basic skills required to complete this modern styled strip pieced lap size quilt (47 x 63 ), which includes; rotary cutting, block construction, addition of borders, quilt sandwiching, quilting and the final step...binding. All this and more will all be explained and put into practice during our class time together. Be prepared for homework each week. Join me once a week ( 2hrs) for 5 weeks... Pattern & supplies extra. Find out what the terms layer, quilt sandwiching, and binding mean. By the end of this class you will have completed a quilt and the basic techniques to move onto beginner level projects. Let s refresh those basic quilting skills: use of a rotary cutter, block construction, addition of borders. The beauty of the LOG CABIN quilt lies in the laying out of the colors. Dark on one side and light on the other. Then the squares can be arranged in many ways creating more than one look. Boost your confidence!! Top only class. 9 ADVANCED CLASS Are you comfortable with free motion quilting? Here s your chance to take it to the next level. Quilting with rulers. In this class you will learn how to use your special machine quilting rulers (that you may already have purchased) and learn some of the designs you can make with them. The WESTALEE template starter set with foot for YOUR machine is required. Bring your machine and your flat extension bed or your folding Pfaff table as you need a flat surface to use the rulers.
