English Paper Piecing- Natasha If you enjoy hand stitching this is a great introduction to English Paper piecing. We will work on the Brimfield Awakening block in class. Edge to Edge Machine Embroidery Longarm Quilting- Natasha Product Description: Our Easy-Connect Quilting technique and our unique embroidery files allow you to use your home embroidery machine to get quilting results as you d see from a longarm quilter. In class Natasha will help you navigate this technique and share all her hints and tips to use your embroidery machine to give the look of longarm quilting! Soother Clip and Double Gauze Blanket $20 + kits Fri. March Amish Block Party- Mavis Reynolds Designer Description: Sewology is a pattern that celebrates all things sewing! This PDF pattern is broken up into 12 block patterns. Each block pattern includes material requirements, detailed diagrams and instruction, and tags to label your cuts of fabric. There is also a 10- page introduction in the pattern that goes over in detail the techniques used in the pattern, color scheme suggestions that include material requirements for each one, and a coloring page to keep you organized! This pattern is traditionally piece (no paper piecing!) and is recommended for the advanced beginner sewer and up! 5 sessions $175 + Pattern & supplies Saturday s 10am-4pm Feb. 9, March 16, April 20, May 18 & June 15 To be continued in the summer and fall as needed My husband encouraged me to do a 3D quilt so I played around with hexagons and then strip sets and VOILA! I came upon this design. I love hexagons and they are very popular right now. If you want to challenge yourself to grow in skills this is a great pattern to do it. Y-seams can be tricky but this quilt is so graphic that you will be very proud of yourself when it s done! 2 sessions $80+ materials Wed. April 17 & 24

5 17. Join us for a weekend of fun quilting days and learning while creating a lap size mystery quilt! Mavis will guide you through a Mystery Quilt Project that is perfect for a confident beginner or experienced quilter. Who would like to learn some construction techniques and tips and tricks to save time? You will receive step by step instructions to keep you guessing until near the end of the class. You can gather your scraps or use yardage. The choice is yours! The fun will begin on Friday, you will spend the day and then sleep in the comfort of your own bed, come back on Saturday and quilt a little more and then round out the weekend on Sunday. Waltz Around The World- Mavis Reynolds These easy to assemble units form blocks that pop and seem to float on the background of the Trip around the World blocks 2 sessions $80 + materials Wed. 6 19. Montenegro Quilt- Mavis Reynold This pattern was inspired by a trip to the Mediterranean and that inspiration is expressed in the quilt sample colours. The two blocks create secondary designs that keep the eye moving over the surface of the quilt. This quilt will be equally beautiful in a variety of fabrics. In this class you will learn accurate cutting, chain piecing and quilt top construction techniques. 1 session $50 + materials Sun. Jan :30am-3:30pm 20. Bedrock City- Mavis Reynolds This fun and quick baby quilt pattern uses 8 novelty fat quarters plus some yardage. We use the EZ Dresden Ruler for the entire quilt and with some twists and turns we create this tumbler quilt variation. In this class you will learn accurate cutting, chain piecing and quilt top construction techniques. 1 session $60 + Materials Wed. May 8 9:30am-3:30pm $250 for 2 hours and upto 8 kids includes supplies and one instructor. Check in store for available dates and times. For ages 8 and up.

7 21. Kids Sewing Program- Bernadine An all NEW kids sewing program focusing on the fundamentals and incorporating skill building with sewn projects. Each child will go home with a binder of the skills learned and a sample of the technique. Then progress to projects. This will be an ongoing series; each session will be 4 weeks. With each additional session, the student will continue building and nurturing previous skills. The series must be done in order to achieve the best results. Each 4 week session $ kit Level #1 Mon. Jan. 21, 28, Feb. 4 & pm Level #2 Mon. April 1, 8, 15 & pm 23. Bee-utiful Applique Wallhanging- Bernadine This is a really beautiful wallhanging that would look great in any area of the house! This is a fusible applique project. In the class Bernadine will show you some different stitches that you could use to finish the raw edges and add embellishment and dimension to your finished project. Kits available. 2 sessions $65 + materials Thurs. April 18 & Pine Needles Fusible Applique- Bernadine Use a kit or select your own fabric to suit one of the Pine Needles patterns, create a beautiful wallhanging. In this class we will show how to use the fusible product and how to layer and place all your pieces. Freemotion Skillbuilder- Pauline Following the Skill Builder panel and learn to free motion quilt in a step by step progression. We will guide you through proper machine setup and show some helpful tips for success. 1 session $ materials Wed. Jan Athletic Pants and Vest- Pauline Join Pauline for a great class using stretch active fabric. In class you will make one pair of Athletic pants, similar to a legging and an athletic zippered vest. Covered in class will be stretch stitches on the sewing machine, differential feed on the serger and the difference between stretch, jersey and ballpoint needles, when and where to use them. 1 session $65 + materials Sat. May 11 9:30am-5pm 26. Serger Basics- Pauline There is so much that a Serger can do! Would you like to explore all the amazing capabilities? In this class we will create a workbook that shows all the stitches and finishes that you can do and all the settings needed to create a perfect stitch.
