Our summer calendar is filled with exciting events! Our sizzling summer End of Bolt Sale is in August, and we will be participating in the second annual Quilter s Quest Mystery Shop Hop in September (see details inside for all events)! New Fabrics are on their way! We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of hundreds of new fabrics this summer including batik, patriotic, fall, and Christmas, including selections of Nancy Halvorsen s newest collections! Watch our s, website, Facebook page or stop in to see what s new! We are excited to offer a wide variety of classes this quarter, including our Santa s Workshop. The workshop classes were chosen as quick gifts to make for your family and friends. We are starting early to avoid binding into the twilight hours of Christmas Eve! Summer vacation is an ideal time to drop your machine off for its annual cleaning. Kathryn will clean, oil and adjust it while you re away relaxing! We are now servicing ALL brands of machines! Learn a simple method to make straight of grain binding as well as how to create an exact miter where the two ends of the binding strips meet. This class will introduce you to a variety of free motion techniques, including stippling, loops & orange peels through a pencil to paper method before quilting your fabric! This five session class will help you learn the basics of quilt construction from fabric selection, measuring and rotary cutting to piecing, borders, quilting & binding. In the series, you will piece four different project tops and practice grid quilting. Homework will be required to complete the projects.
