Intro to Machine Embroidery Applique by Embroidery Machine Learn how to use stabilizers and designs that have Applique built into the designs. Make a simple project (mug rug, design on a quilt block or tea towel or corner of a baby blanket). Wednesday, April 10:00 Perfect for those new to machine embroidery. Beginning Quilting 3 part course learning the basics of quilting while creating sample blocks. In class you will learn about quilting tools, rotary cutting, proper seams, pressing, and more. You will experience different types of rulers and quilting tools. This 3 part series will concentrate on the quilt blocks and techniques. We will offer another series on quilting and binding. This class is for those wanting to learn quilting or anyone wanting to brush up on quilting skills. Class begins Monday, April 10:00. $65 + supplies. Class time 10:00 1:00. Call to make sure you are signed up for this class. On The Run Again "Granny Square Stars" We will make the runner called "Granny Square Stars. This runner is made with precut 5 inch squares. Class date April 10:30 & April 19th. This is a two part class to learn several techniques. "Chatter Box" Wednesday, May 3rd & 10:30. $10 + supplies. This is the last class in the series from "On The Run Again" table runners. This is a two part class with great techniques. Raw Edge Applique by Machine We will create a small wall hanging using Raw Edge Applique techniques by machine. Learn about fusible web, threads, needles and stitching techniques. You will need to do some pre class prep so sign up today. Kits are available upon request. Saturday, April 10:00. $10 + supplies. T shirt Quilt Learn the basics to create a T shirt quilt. We are offering two different classes. Monday, May 1st OR Saturday, May 6th. 10:00. $15 + supplies. Basic quilting skills needed. You will learn how to stabilize the T shirt knits, create blocks and sashings.

3 Jewel Box Gem 30 In this class you will use rulers from Phillips Fiberarts. Learn to use the Gem 30 and the Jewel Box ruler to create this table center. The Gem 30 ruler includes the pattern for this class. Moderate quilting skills suggested. $15 + supplies. Monday, May 10:00. Edge to Edge Quilting On Your Embroidery Machine Saturday, May 10:00 Learn to quilt a small baby size quilt using your embroidery machine. This class is for machines with a hoop size larger then 5" x 9". All brands welcome. Your project will look like it was done on a long arm machine. $15 + book which includes 10 designs.
