2 BEGINNING SEWING BEGINNING SEWING WITH HOME DECOR This class is an introduction to basic sewing with an emphasis on Home Décor sewing. You will learn basic sewing skills such as reading pattern instructions, laying out pattern pieces, inserting a zipper, making and inserting cording and making buttonholes. Instruction includes rotary cutting techniques; piecing of half-square triangles and quarter-square triangles; outline quilting and a super easy binding technique. 3 FOOLING AROUND WITH YOUR FEET: QUILT BLOCK OF THE MONTH A series of classes focusing on using accessory feet with your machine's circular sewing attachment. Each month we will create a unique quilt block. The blocks can be used individually to make a pillow cover, three or more for a wall hanging, or multiples for a quilt. BRAIDED SIX PETAL FLOWER BLOCK This block is made using your circular attachment and braiding foot to create a six petal flower. One Session; 4 hours.
