2 Aim f the curse T gain practice and knwledge in precisin timing and t understand its intricacies. Participants will als learn t make all adjustments n a Swiss lever escapement and understand the effects f these adjustments n timing. Participants (maximum 8) Participants must have attended a watchmaking schl and have a cmplementary experience in watch repairs Watchmakers with n such educatin r training must have a minimum f 3 years fulltime experience in watchmaking. It is imprtant that participants are cmpetent t deal with all aspects f a simple mechanical watch, such as repairs n the gear train, including barrel and jewels, and the winding and setting mechanism. Prgram: At the end f the curse, the participant will be able t : Basic mvement preparatin Set a wheel flat and adjust endshakes Adjust sideshake, endshake and flatness f a barrel Lubricate the basic mvement with cnfidence Escapement adjustment Understand the prper functining f the lever escapement Understand the effects f these adjustments n timing Prceed t all escapement adjustments cnfidently Lubricate the escapement n all types f mvements Regulating rgan Exchange and refit a balance staff Prceed t the truing f balance wheels and t pise them Clet and prceed t the setting f a cmplete hairspring accrding t Lerys thery Adjust and manipulate the hairspring under bridge n all types f mvements Chrnmetry Prceed t dynamic pising Prceed t all interventins needed n the hairspring in rder t ensure the best pssible timing n all types f watches Use the theretical backgrund in rder t slve practical peratins
