Chad Rsenstein Airline Update Advised the cmmittee that Delta will be bringing a few late arrivals (11:30pm) as well as a 5:45am departure. The MD88 schedule has been pushed ut t 6:50am departure fr the next schedule perid (thrugh June). K. Hughes / United Expressed advised that they have a 5:35am departure scheduled fr the winter mnths due t the need fr cnnectins and de-icing time. Questins / cncerns were raised regarding the after-the-fact reprting f airline schedules. Clarificatin was prvided t the cmmittee that, as an Advisry Cmmittee, the Nise Cmmittee des nt have the pwer r authrity t vet r prevent airline scheduling. Hwever, in an effrt t cntinue gd cmmunicatin and gd neighbr relatins, the airlines cmmit t advise the NAC f schedules t the best f their ability. Maria Hannemann Fed Ex Update Advised the cmmittee that the current B727 that perates Friday night / Saturday mrning is nearing its end it will sn be replaced with a B757. Runway 36 Safety Area & Recnstructin Update B. Wallace advised the cmmittee that runway 18/36 is planned fr clsure fr cnstructin. The prpsed dates f clsure are May 1 Nv 1, B. Wallace als advised that fr apprximately ne mnth f the cnstructin prject, runway 11/29 will clse fr intersectin cnstructin. This date is TBD. Questin: Des the 2005 Nise Cmpatibility Prgram supersede and replace the 1990 Nise Cmpatibility Prgram, r are bth f the Nise Cmpatibility Prgrams current? Answer: "Yes, the PWM 2005 Nise Cmpatibility Prgram supersedes and replaces the 1990 Nise Cmpatibility Prgram". This was determined because f the existence f Chapter three (which assess each 1990 NCP measure, and determines if it is still relevant t be included in the 2005 NCP). If, hwever, the 2005 NCP did nt review the previus NCP measures, then bth NCP's wuld be used. Questin: What is the purpse f the Airprt Minimum Standards? Can the Airprt Minimum Standards regulate nise? Answer: N, the purpse f the PWM Airprt Minimum Standards are nt t regulate nise.
