3 DAVE_Release_Ntes 2 Supprt Packages SEGGER JLink V6.00d Nte: Fr sme versins f the J-Link sftware package, Windws Defender under Windws 10 triggered a false psitive alarm fr "Trjan:Win32/Tulim.C!plck" which disabled the dwnlad f the sftware package. This has been recently fixed by Micrsft via new virus definitins. Please make sure that Windws Defender virus definitins are up t date when dwnlading the package and are at least at the fllwing versin: Antivirus definitin: We recmmend updating the installed J-Link sftware frm time t time. 5 DAVE_Release_Ntes 4 Changes t Previus Versin 4.1 Changes frm previus versin v4.2.8 New Features: Setting fr ptimized FPU cde New ptin added in prject settings /ARM-GCC C Cmpiler / Miscellaneus: Fast math (-ffast math) When checking this ptin the cmplier is nt adding cde t verify FPU status registers hence the cde size is reduced and executin time is faster. Static memry analyzer A new view called Static Memry Analyzer has been implemented. This view prvides table and graphical verview f the memry usage. The view can be activated as fllws: Windws Shw View Static memry analyzer. The map file f the prject is read and the memry usage f the chip is shwn graphically and in tables. Bard pin labels T simplify the manual pin assignment when develping SW fr a specific bard, DAVE can nw prcess a text file that cntains label infrmatin per pin. These label infrmatin are then shwn in the manual pin mapping views (graphical and table view). The name f such a file has t be: bard_pin_label.bpl. Bard pin label files fr varius XMC kits can be dwnladed frm here. Just cpy the bard_pin_lable.bpl file in the rt f yur prject, pen the manual pin mapping table view and see the labels that are defined in the file. T see the labels in the graphical pin mapping view t ptin (icn tp, right) Shw Bard Pin Label has t be chsen. This means, prject created with lder DAVE v4 versins can be imprted and used with newer DAVE v4 versin. New DAVE v4 versins are nt always frward cmpatible; this means, prjects created with newer DAVE versins cannt always be imprted and used in lder DAVE v4 versins.
